WCM1 engine had very fond memories in our childhood. We felt proud to travel by Deccan Queen just because she was hauled by this very royal looking engine, as if we were riding Royal horse carriage.

It's the opposite actually. These locomotives were not reliable at all and were prone to failure. Most of the times WDM 2 had to do the rescue job. Only WCG 2 were the real workhorses.

WCM2 Locos were never given to Western Railways. It's wrong mention. WR always had WCM1 and Steam before 1975. Please correct your video narration

Even WCM1 was not with WR. It was WCAM1. All WCM locos were with CR
