The main reason most companies have the clause that you have to take the vehicle to their recommended service places, is to keep the profits in their company's, also easier to void the warranty, riding, all the best to you and your loved ones
Awesome Video as Always! And thank you for Clarifying. I actually have to go to a dealer to service mine just so they can record it... why , i have no clue. But that is their Caveat. Maybe i can add the 16t front sprocket install to it as well and get it all done at the same time since they have to fiddle with the chain anyways. Ill see you on the forum and let you know how it goes, and how i feel about the 16t front sprocket as far as for Commuting highway.
@@ramohino it adds a bit to the top end, but i have Alot of supporting mods as well, so i cannot say for certain what just the gearing added. But it makes it alot more comfortable at highway speeds. Its not screaming
Quick question. What about spoke tension verification and adjustment (if necessary)? This is the one that is stressing me out the most and making me take it to the dealer for its first service. Also, my quickshifter only works on upshifts on gears 4,5 and 6. Wondering if it’s an adjustment thing. Yeah, I know I’ll get raped by the dealer but it hopefully will be the last time they see me since I’ll be doing all subsequent servicing every 7500km.
You can take the bike to any local dealer to have the spoke tension checked. The tech I spoke to recommended it within the first 5000 miles at some point.
Why can't you put a chain tensioner on the bottom of the chain holding up on a set tensioner, that will allow for the arm movement? just curious, all the best to you and your loved ones
It is actually illegal to force people to go back to the same company, called monopolising the market, but they keep trying, because people don't know the law and can't afford a lawyer, and here in Australia you pay court expenses even if you win all the best to you safe riding
@@SeanFillner so less than $10 is good or it can be better because the link you provided that say $24. Your videos got watched after so many yrs because of the small subsciber group and also i bought a pre owned husqverna svartpilan 250. So i start looking for D.I.Y after a lot of random video i found yours, which is really helpful. Great job.
Thanks! Very helpful information. Did my first oil change today--most complicated oil change I ever had to perform but all went well.
Thank you for this vid.
I sorted thru my paperwork & I have a similar sheet that says I can work on it!
Glad it was helpful!
Good information, thank you! Just bought a Svartrocket myself a week ago. Can you leave a link on the seatpad? looks comfy
Check out the playlist to find what you are looking for. Links are always in the description of the install video.
Keep up the videos! It’s helped me a lot with my 22 401.
Glad to hear it!

I'm curious about the tool size needed for my brother's chain tension. TH-cam translator doesn't work.

Thank you! Let me know how that sprocket upgrade goes.
Nice, what will the 16t add to MPH?

I don't think this bike was designed for an additional tensioner?

I know I’m a year late, but you’ve got your information mixed up pretty heavily on this one
you didn't mention the price but that kit cost almost $10 or less in India.
I never mention the price because my videos get viewed years later, like this one, you just watched.
