@coffeetofee ok i had the same problem. can you get it into dfu mode??if so run ireb to get into pwned dfu mode then restore. It is possible that you messed up your ipod and it cant be fixed unless you restore. You can also do a normal restore if you dont care about jailbreaking

I JUST WORKED OUT HOW TO DO IT!!!! my ipod had been in recovery mode caused by a jailbreak -_-, so i just plugged it in into a different computer (dads) and then it restored it, then i just plugged it back to mine and synced it and i didnt loose anything!! hope this helped:)
Totally confused. Hard to read what you are referring to and where do I locate this information. Also, music in the background makes it difficult to fix something while trying to concentrate and work it out. Can you repeat it one more time without the music and be more specific. Much thanks.

Yo I had my girlfriend phone in reocvery mode after i tried 2 jailbreak it. Tried QuickPwn Black Rain holdin buttons all that nothin worked. But u came thru in the clutch with this one it got everything back 2 normal i preciate that one

unplug your iPhone from your comp, shut your phone off, turn it back on, change usb ports (move the white wire to another usb port on your laptop/comp) , plug phone in , start iTunes...recovered the phone back to factory settings (y) worked for me! i hope this works for some of you out there
before, i used the erase all content and setting. after that, its been on the apple logo for hours. I've tried to get it out of recovery but it always end up back at apple logo
I got iPod touch 1st gen that charges perfectly fine, but the computer wont recognize a portable device has been hooked up AND iTunes doesnt recognize it either. The computer doesnt "bling" when I hook it up, nothing happens. It will only show 2 screens & I cant use it. It shows only the iTunes music cd with a USB sign OR it will get out of that mode & show the same thing but with the battery simbal in the top right coner. I bought it used so IDK if its been jail broken. What do I do?????
Go into DFU mode the exit DFU. That should fix it. If not use Redsn0w and click there get out of recovery mode feature. If not then do what I did in the video.
this is really strange, I have a 32gb iPod touch 4g with ios 5.0.1 and failing to put it in dfu mode it went to recovery mode and shown that picture with the usb and itunes, I held down power and home until the apple logo came up and then it started up fine.

The program installed just fine, BUT when i clicked fix the recovery mode loop for 3gs all that happened was my iPhone shut down, the apple logo appeared for about 5 seconds and then it went back to the recovery mode image.. Now what? please help! p.s. I did not have iTunes open as i was using this program you guys supplied.

( but my ipod is 4g, have to try it like others) i reboot my laptop, because im using a plug in i-net connection. it says there that no modem detected. because of the libusb. so my connection is disconnected. so i have to un install the libusb for my drivers can recognise the other usb device. HELP me justin! pls.
there's a far easer was to get out of Recovery mode and its to have your Ipod, Iphone plugged in to your pc and just simply hold home & power button until you see the apple logo then your done
Hate to be telling you this but if its not working then your doing something wrong. Try installing redsn0w and use there "get out of recovery" feature.

The IREB thing only has options for iphone and ipod touch.
do you have a solution for macs? the downloads i have are .exe... for windows, i'm guessing?
