For sure. Always a filler song at all the parties! Great tune. I recommended it so many times in their streams so finally nice to see them experience it!
A friend introduced me to Accept in 1982, blew my mind. We lived a hundred miles from nowhere, no place to get a record or cassette. Went on vacation with family in 1985 to Gatlinburg and holy shit, one of the souvenir shops had 3 cassette tapes...I still have them and bought every record they put out since.
So many memories listening to these crazy Germans.
These guys are the Most Underrated band of the 80's~

Yeah, too few of you guys in the US seemed to get them, but here in Europe they are one of the most legendary heavy metal bands of all time - and still massively successful with both their old and their new material, believe it or not. Thankfully I get the distinct impression that the US is about to reawaken and rejoin the metal party...

I’d forgotten about that song…it really is good. Now I have to go back and listen to Princess of The Dawn, because I seem to remember that as being my favorite Accept song.

God dammit. in '82 I was playing bass with a guy in high school, we were obsessed with European metal. I heard this song on a late night radio show and I just flipped. Next day I was walking down the hall and the guy hands me this album. He said "I heard it yesterday I knew you would flip out when you heard it." I was so stoked I nearly kissed the guy. Also, one of the best live bands from the 80's. Total energy.

I used to be annoyed that Brad always seemed expressionless while the song was playing, but I now understand that he is absorbing the meaning of the song. Lex balances that out perfectly with her abvios appreciation for the music. Nicely Done by both of you!
I saw these guys with Iron Maiden way back in the early 80's!! Great Show!!! The crowd went berzerk!!!

I saw them on this tour at Red Rocks. Was a really good show.

The singer's vocal chords are indeed different. He has been singing like that for almost 50 years and he still sounds exactly like the albums. All high notes included. Out of all of the 80's singers I've seen live, his voice has held up the best. Mind blowing, really.
Accept and U.D.O. are excellent bands going for decades. Seen them both live. Love them 🙂

One of the best heavy metal German bands of all time! They are still going strong with a new vocalist and many great albums since the mid 70s!
Absolutely UDO was very underrated he is in my opinion a top 10 metal vocalist.

I saw Accept, W.A.S.P, Armored Saint and Metal Church in 84'. They were incredible. Overall great line up and one of the best shows

My father bought this album literally as soon as it came out..remember & always have remembered. I was about 10 or 11..not sure if was 1980, 81 or 82 but I totally remember because I would always wanna look at his album covers..he had everything!!!!

@@richharris9489 After so many years, that's not unusual, and it's all it takes, sometimes. Not everyone can have the consistency of a Metallica for 40 years, although even they have had changes.
Metal is just as deep as rap can be with the messages. It stemmed from anti-government, anti-war, anti-establishment roots the same way. A lot of it is all about taking back ones personal power and standing up for one's self. Great reaction. Now hopefully you'll react to Krokus some day. Peace and love.

Saw your reaction to this on the live stream...very cool. Accept is one of those bands whose sound cannot be duplicated. The band still performs with a diff singer these days, while Udo (lead singer) also performs with his band. Udo's voice is NOT fake, NOT a method, NOT some weird style..it's REAL and it's natural. He's a complete beast.
Not only did Udo Dirkschneider have a distinctive voice, He was also known for being one of the most classically handsome men of all time.

UDO Rocks! Saw them open for Dokken and Judas Priest back in the day, we were destroyed by that triple bill and Accept got things off to a roaring start. Another European act to explore is Golden Earring from the Netherlands. They are outstanding and a Hell of a lot more than the 2 huge songs they are most known for: Radar Love and The Twilight Zone. Try those sometime but if you want to see how Prog they were, try Vanilla Queen, Candy's Going Bad and Big Tree/Blue Sea. Classic tunes, I saw them with King Crimson back in the 70s and that was a great show by both bands.Enjoy! 🎸

This is a Rippin live concert song. I saw them open up for Iron Maiden when they did this song and to hear the whole arena singing "Balls to the Wall" was just AWSOME!!

I had to skip my high school Lip Sync contest to go to the concert - I was going to do this song with my friends in the school contest.
They've had a new singer forever now, and their new stuff is just as strong as this old stuff

Udo Dirkschneider learned English hanging around G.I.s stationed in Germany.I was over there when they was tearing up the festivals.Their song Restless and Wild is one of their best

Love this band and this album, Accept is my second favorite German band behind the Scorpions, London Leather Boys is another great track off this album.Then they have their older songs like Fast as a Shark,and Princess of the Dawn,so Good 👍
Finest Kraut Rawk band of the 80's! I'm a Rebel was a great album and then BREAKER and RESTLESS AND WILD blew me away ! Still going strong and great band live! I still say Fast as a Shark is the first speed metal song ever! Keep Rocking!

My first concert was when I was 13 in 1984 and it was Ozzy/Accept. I'd never heard of them before. The whole crowd was singing along to the chorus. I can't say I was a big fan but it was fun to sing along with everyone, though.

One of my favorite concerts ever was Accept, Y and T, and Motley Crue at the Manning Bowl in Massachusetts, 1985. I was 20 years old. I stayed around after the concert and partied and hitchiked home to Lewiston, Me the next day. Helix was supposed to play but didn't...never knew why?
Helix got busted with fake vax passports just before their showtime so they were nixed.
The lyrics are so relatable in this day and age!

One of the best and iconic metal voices ever.
I saw them in a bar in Sacramento back in the day. The singer is so short I could not see him. They had to stop the show to make people back up. In that voice he was pleading with us. It was hilarious and a great show.
One of the greatest metal bands ever. I was lucky to catch them live, oh, maybe ten years back? Yes, they didn't have Udo Dirkschneider on vocals anymore but the "new guy" Mark Tournillo was rough enough to almost make up for that. Besides, they were one guitarist down due to some accident so a tech filled in on some songs.
And despite all that they truly kicked arse on that festival, only maybe just getting slightly outshined by Judas Priest who had Halford back on vocals! Great show!

You keep doing songs like this and you're going to get A LOT more followers. Thing with metal is that there are so many bands and the fanbase can be split at times. I'll notice in the chat a lot of metal songs, but it'll be 8 different metalheads calling for 8 different songs at once.
