How lovely to see your daughter.. along with her alterations 😂😂😂 That totepack is so cool!!!! I’ve not seen anything like it before! Best of luck with the op!!
Loved the vlog. Gorgeous pattern and fabric , sorry to hear that your machine isn’t happy, hope you get it sorted soon. What a brilliant idea to take your fur baby out . Have a great weekend ❤
Thanks for another great vlog as always 😊 I got the popper presser too and now want to put poppers on everything as it’s so straightforward. Great bag too. Am very tempted to try it as a first bag for me 🤞
Awww that was a lovely vlog Alison thank you I had a little giggle and have a smile from ear to ear. I wish I lived in the UK I live in regional Australia and it is hard to connect to other sewing people.
There’s a social sewing session on zoom here I think sequine girlie creates is involved- the details are on her instagram sequingirlie - not sure how the times would work for you though
Best of luck with the cataracts. ❤ Your dress really suits you and the bag looks great. I am quite tempted. Sorry about yiur arthritis. I was having some pain in my fingers amd finding things too hard and painful to do. I came across these soft squeezy shaoes that you can use to strengthen your hands and I must say they have really made a difference. They don't hurt to use because they're soft and strengthening my hands has definitely reduced the discomfort I used to feel. It can't cure arthritis but I think it can help manage it. I want to stay as active as possible for as long as possible so am happy to put a bit of effort in. 😊
Love the bag very versatile pattern and you’ve used a lovely fabric. It won’t be long before you have your cataract surgery it’s not normally a long wait 😎 Hope you get your machine sorted soon 🥰
I love your dress Allison, the colours are gorgeous on you. The tote bag is fantastic and you used great fabrics. Amazing it can convert to a backpack! I’d love one of those but it looks quite an involved make, but there may be a sew along? Best of luck with your cataracts, I’d love to get rid of my specs too😊
Thoroughly enjoyed making the totepack but not made many bags so I bought the wrong type of webbing doh! Definitely making one for my holiday. Love the fabric of the dress your wearing ❤
Hi Alison, do think the soitotepack could be made bigger, enough to accommodate a 20" cymbal? Would that be easy to do, do you think? My son is a drummer and he travels a lot with his cymbals. He asked me to make a backpack and I'm having a lot of trouble finding a pattern. Any advice would be a help...
Sorry you machine is poorly. You got a bargain with that vario creative tool. I have bought one and paid £85. I have arthritis in my thumbs, so thought this would help. When it arrived, both instruction leaflets and the box are in a foreign langue. Not a word of English anywhere. Where did you find your fasteners etc to use with it, please? I haven't found any yet. I love your bag, what a fabulous idea to have a convertible tote pack.
I'm also excited by very little. I like that snap sound, too!
Pleased it’s not just me 😂
So love hearing about your week Alison. The bag is fab, I think I’m going to give that pattern a try too. Enjoy your walks 🐶 x
It’s a great idea isn’t it x
I’m just waiting for a doggy pushchair to be delivered for our pooch. It’ll help us be able to walk further ourselves. I hope it works! 🐾
Ooo lots of new adventures
Now that’s a cool bag!!!
It’s such a good idea isn’t it

Fabolous backpack.
Lovely video as always.
Hope surgery goes well. My mum had cataract removed a few years ago, and she loved the results.
Thanks Agata x

Absolutely loved your version- I had the wrong size D rings and sliders we should have swapped 🤦♀️😂
xXX👍👍👍
Thanks x
I talk to my dog, like you. It’s better being on the phone and ignoring the dog! Like most dog walkers!
Maybe we should start a club 😂

I would think so you would need to alter the width and length depart would be easy to adjust as it’s a box bottom then lengthen the straps
Hi Alison, I just nabbed some of that bag fabric as spotted it back in stock. Do you recall if you needed to interface it?
Yes definitely still interface if your making a totepak or rucksack. For a tote bag I wouldn’t interface
@ thanks just the canvas or lining too ?
I just did the canvas - hope it goes well 😃
@ thanks fingers crossed it’s on my agtn plans 😊
Alterations take longer than actual sewing 🧵!!!
Absolutely

Hi I already had some plastic poppers and I got the metal snaps from Amazon - think they weee all from there
