For example, Cleopatra was white. why a lot of people aren't sure if she was white was because we didn't know who her mother was. but her family was very into incest, so most likely she was white. It's a bit silly to say hello because it's in Africa, so it means there are no white people. No, just no. there was a lot of trade in egypt so many people stayed as egyptians and also white people as people from italy or north macadonia and they were white

    John 3:15-21 KJV
    That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. [16] For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. [17] For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. [18] He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. [19] And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. [20] For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. [21] But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

      Prince of Egypt is the most faithful adaptation. A beautiful movie that wasn’t afraid to be directly Judeo-Christian religious. This movie didn’t even have the Burning Bush right and attributed it to Malak who is just an Angel (and depending on the source, potentially a demon) and called Moses a “General” which he was not. Not related but also in Noah they only referred to God as “The Creator” and really seemed to suggest he was a bad god like how he punished the fallen angels because they wanted to help humanity.
      But I digress.
      The only thing POE didn’t get right was the ending scene during the “Deliver Us” reprise. Moses should have been bronzed out with white hair after seeing the back of God’s head while getting the Commandments. Oh and at this point the Israelites were sinning in every way while parading around the golden calf. But that would kinda kill the mood of the movie so I can let it slide.
      Oh and while you can debate this, and it’s not pivotal to the story even within the Bible’s account, it’s very likely Moses knew his Hebrew heritage. His adopted mother likely didn’t hide the fact he was adopted. It’s suggested with context clues that he knew he was Hebrew and that was why he held sympathy for the slaves.

    • @davidbassjr.7909
      @davidbassjr.7909 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @cobaltprime9467 just wanted to mention that it is directly stated that Moses knew he was a Hebrew and adopted. Hebrews 11:23-26
      By faith Moses, when he was born, was hidden for three months by his parents, because they saw he was a beautiful child; and they were not afraid of the king’s edict. By faith Moses, when he had grown up, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter, choosing rather to endure ill-treatment with the people of God than to enjoy the temporary pleasures of sin, considering the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures of Egypt; for he was looking to the reward.

During the time of Moses which was centuries before most of the invasions and mass migrations...they were much Blacker.
