My wife, son, and I just got back from neighborhood hunting. We needed at lest another week. We really liked the Holly Springs and Fuquay-Varina area but stumbled upon the Legacy at Jordan Lake and would love to see a video for that area.
I’ve watched realtors present their areas all around Florida, Las Vegas, Hawaii, Phoenix and other areas. Nobody presents better than this guy. Great job with your videos.
Love watching Chris every Friday. He really knows the areas and his information is always so informative. Can’t wait to work with him to relocate to the Triangle area.
@@LivinginRaleighTV , I am planing to move to Raleigh area and hope to find a home in a gated community, what’s the best way to contact to you. Thanks.
We just moved to Southpoint in Durham and love it. We have easy access to everywhere, whether the Tobacco Trail, the rural farms near Jordan Lake, or be it Chapel Hill, Durham, or even Morrisville, Cary and Raleigh.
I have been living in Holly a Springs for 21 years and happy to see so much growth and improvement in the town. Love the downtown area and the parks in the area. The commute to RTP is not so bad and you can get more house for the money, still now, 6/21
Ah back in 1977 , There was less then 900 people I miss our small Southern Town. 40,000 residents. 98 % are from up state. With the NY attitude you can not stand.
Very interesting video! Cary is actually quite big, so commute times can vary a lot, especially because of Cary annexing so much of Raleigh back in the 90s and early 2000s. I remember the whole 'Stop Cary' campaign throughout a lot of areas that make up the South part of Cary. Not to mention the odd little spots like Middle Creek or the areas around the airport which are part of Cary.
If you like living on a lake with 2 golf courses, Carolina Trace Country Club just outside of Sanford is a hidden secret. Its about a 50 minute commute to the Research Triangle but well worth the longer commute.
Considering relocating to Raleigh (from upstate NY, lived in Richmond VA for many years, relocating from Las Vegas); could you do a video like this on more areas/suburbs? It’s hard to know to where even look! Also, if you could speak to just general info (if there is such a thing), on living North, South, East and West of Raleigh proper. Thank you! Your videos are really helpful.
We actually have. The one we just did called “Underrated Suburbs” and we did another a little while ago called “Most Affordable Suburbs.” Between all 3 of these videos we cover all the suburbs of Raleigh with the exception of some of the further away ones. Hope that helps!
Hey Chris, I enjoy many of your other videos, but due to my hearing loss, I rely on captions for all of the TH-cam videos. This one doesn't have any captions. Just FYI. Thanks!
@@LivinginRaleighTV I saw that one. It's the one that made me visit and decide that's where I wanted to go. Thank you so much for your videos. You definitely helped with all my research!!

Glad you love it! You're right, very central.
Feeling very lucky that we were able to buy a SFH in Cary for 390. Love this area and how well planned it is.
Completely agree. Great area
Locals have an acronym for CARY - Containment Area (for) Relocated Yankees 🤭
You make videos with excellent content. Thank you! I'd love to see a video about neighborhoods on the Greenway Trail system with wooded lots.
Thank you! We appreciate it very much

As far as Cary , There is a Eastern Rite Catholic Church. Out side of that not so much.
You forgot about the excellent public transportation in Cary. It has an Amtrak train station and lots of buses.
Awesome

My son and family live in Wake Forest and it is beautiful.❤️
Thanks for sharing! I agree
What about the school.. I’m considering this pleace
Yes! We built our house in Wake Forest. Absolutely love it. I do agree with the restaurant/shopping limitations.
Thanks for sharing
I grew up near Wake Forest and just no. The last time I was there the traffic was horrible heading towards Raleigh
Yes, it’s getting bad
I Need more informations about Morrisville ❤ thank you for these kind of video ❤
We recently did this video about Morrisville as well: th-cam.com/video/jiDCXd6IbMk/w-d-xo.htmlsi=9KNaZKSnppjQjY6G

@@LivinginRaleighTV Oh thank you, I will definitely take a look at those. Thank you so much.
Where in Upstate NY? I moved south from Upstate NY!!
for me it's Cary, great location and lots of things to do
Agree, very good location
Good video Chris. We love how Apex/Cary are interchangeable. We spend about an equal amount of time in both places !
Thanks for sharing!

Have you done anything on Clayton NC?
Yes it’s we did a suburbs video covering Clayton a few months ago, but we have plans to go back and film there again soon.
Very Informative
Thanks!
Great content, enjoy the informative videos.
Thank you
Hi chris when gone do the next video on charlotte vs.Raliegh
Not sure yet. It’s going to take a lot of work to produce, but we are trying to do it sooner rather than later.
I am looking to move to Fuquay Varina next year. Would love a video on it..
We will be doing one that covers it soon! We did put Fuquay in another suburb video a few months back but we definitely have more coming.

Lol
I live in Raleigh NC
Nice
What about rentals? Would you say a rental is higher in Cary than some of the other places you mentioned?
We don't handle rentals, but the rental markets are pretty closely aligned with the housing market. Cary will have higher rent.
@@LivinginRaleighTV thank you for the reply
You’re welcome
Make a clip on best home contractors
We have made a few videos about best builders
Can you still find a home for 160k?
Possibly in the outskirts. If you find a home that cheap it’s likely rural, small, or needs a lot of rehab work.
Hey Chris! What about Fuquay?
Fuquay will be in another video soon. It’s really grown in popularity this past year.
@@LivinginRaleighTV thanks for the feedback
You’re welcome
Move further west and get more for your money
Yep
Please don’t California our North Carolina
It feels like it's coming. Sadly.
How big is the Asian population there?
Not sure the stats, but the major universities and RTP brings people from all over the world. Triangle is quite diverse.
PLEASE STOP MOVING HERE !!!!!!!
