As a Chinese American The only thing I don’t understand why some people feel grossed out by chicken feet … American eat chicken … all the time when chicken leg , thigh , breasts and that’s tasty and suddenly it when it’s feet it’s gross ? Like I understand finding butt and intestines gross because that’s will shit came from but ….. Feet ? Really ? Y’all too sensitive Makes no sense Totally agree with the red scarfed lady ! China was a rural country less than 100 years ago . Many of elder generation Chinese grew up as farmers and we were taught since we were young to not waste single grain of rice . We were taught to appreciate food and eat every part of the animal . ( and less tasteful things like fish head , chicken bones will used in broth ) and not be wasteful And no wayyy you guys didn’t give them rice for Mapotofu ? Even a drink ? I love spicy food yet even I can’t handle that …. It wasn’t mean be eaten by itself that’s why they didn’t like it .
I def agree as an American but to answer your question it’s because when Americans eat meat, they don’t think about the whole animal just the part they want (leg, thigh, intestines) and anything outside of that is considered sometimes “dirty, healthy, or weird”. Like in the grocery we only see the meats we eat and all the other stuff thrown out or grinder into sausage or something. So essentially any meet not sold in an ordinary grocery store like pigs feet might creep an American out but their many places in America that sell pig feet and stuff. I adore that your culture admires not wasting the animal I wish America could adapt that logic cause we WASTE SO MUCH FOOD IN AMERICA ITS SAD

The only thing I don’t understand why some people feel grossed out by chicken feet … American eat chicken … all the time when chicken leg , thigh , breasts and that’s tasty and suddenly it when it’s feet it’s gross ? Like I understand finding butt and intestines gross because that’s will shit came from but ….. Feet ? Really ? Y’all too sensitive Makes no sense
Totally agree with the red scarfed lady ! China was a rural country less than 100 years ago . Many of elder generation Chinese grew up as farmers and we were taught since we were young to not waste single grain of rice . We were taught to appreciate food and eat every part of the animal . ( and less tasteful things like fish head , chicken bones will used in broth ) and not be wasteful
And no wayyy you guys didn’t give them rice for Mapotofu ?
Not lulu screaming at at foot 😂😂 4:14
The lady with the red scarf is the only real Mexicana in this video
Mexican moms try Cambodian food next pls
Omg yesss I have been asking for ages 😭
They need to try our cuisines
@thatgirl9532 I'm mexican but what Cambodian food would u recommend?
@@Mythmx oh really..How do you know about Cambodian food then? 😅
The dishes they gotta try (which is so many) but for me:
Definitely prahok🤣🤣🤣
Nom Banh Chok
Samlar Machu
Twa ko with rice
And for desserts :
Num Chak Kachan
Nom Korng
Nom Lort (one of my favourites)
Banh Ja’Neuk (my favourite other)
As native chinese, I have no idea what the fk egg flour soup is.
The congee should have some green onions and chili oil, and the mapo tofu should be eaten with rice
Lulu is adorable af
She’s real af
From the looks of Xiaolongbao, this is the food court grade.... and the rest of the dishes I assume bought from the same food court.....
Alma is so cute, she looks like someone with a nice and warm personality!
Love lulu and Xotchyl they are very honest.
I spent 4 years living in china and I'm on my 3rd year living in Mexico so I'm pretty excited to see this
I LOVE the cussing mom!!! 😂😂😂
They not gonna serve some white rice with that mapo tofu? Wtf
I like Chinese (american) food and have tried most of the americanized versions of these. I like mapo tofu, Peking duck, kung pao chicken, salt and pepper squid, and egg drop soup a lot.
Americanized Chinese food is for Americans who can’t appreciate Chinese cuisines. I hope people would be able to explore the Chinese culinary culture and have the opportunities to try the authentic Chinese food. Kudos to Anthony Bourdain for documenting all that in his food documentaries “parts unknown” and “no reservation”.
Authentic Peking duck is actually with thin flour wrap instead of this fluffy Bao. They are very much like a thinner taco size tortilla.
Tomato and egg would be a classic home cooked dish in Chinese cuisine
The best ladies ever❤😂😊. A sophisticated palette ALWAYS 🎉🎉🎉🎉 so from Ontario Canada
I'm also accustomed to chicken feet in soup from my abuelita's cooking. I'm surprised most hadn't tried it.
“SpongeBob homie”… 😅😂, oh Lucy 💕
LOVE this channel and mamahs🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
Lulu is hilarious 😂
I like how this channel provides authentic versions of dishes, not like other channels e.g. saying the US style of kung pao chicken or California rolls (Japanese) are authentic dishes.
This show makes me miss my mom a bit more today.
Kung Pao chicken ALSO needs steam rice! OMG! As a Chinese, this is sacrilegious.
Mapo Tofu would never be eaten alone like that though. It's meant to be with rice... and the amount of Sicuan pepper would vary by province in China, with most using it VERY sparingly
Gano mi tocaya! Woo hoo a Xochitl!
You’re wearing it! ❤😂
They didn't even give them the vinegar or educate on how to eat the xiaolongbao!!! That's all part of the experience
5:11 Just a small error: it's actually egg flower soup, not flour.
Great video! Just love the totally different reactions. Made my evening a good one!! And I love duck--used to have it for Christmas until it starting to cost about $9.00 a pound!
Thank you for watching!! ❤️
I love mapo tofu with some white rice 🤤. Lulus reaction to the chicken feet made me laugh but I love chicken feet at dim sum and xiao long bao everyday of the week is another staple at my house 🤤. Peking duck is something we order all the time at a Chinese restaurant when it’s someone’s birthday
I have a new favorite mamah, Alma! love her !
Chicken wings also have a bone unless they are boneless 😂. They also make boneless chicken feet. I would love to try some day!
I feel xochi on the feet 😭😭I will NEVER eat chicken feet😭😭
Xochil is so funny lmao
Please, for the love of everything, let these lovely mums eat off of real plates with proper silverware and not out of those plastic thingies.
They deserve the best!
Xochitl is adorable.
Title says Authentic Chinese food
Proceeds to bring out kung pao chicken with a broccoli and not enough sauce, you know, the American Chinese food version
May god have mercy on all our souls.
Not sure what you mean. Kung Pao chicken is authentic. I've had it many times in China.
@@iNeverSimp Kung Pao chicken is authentic Chinese food, sure, but the one they had is not.
🤣🤣🤣 Xochitl!!! My favorite!
I love when she hates on Racheal Ray
That one Mom had me rolling with the chicken feet
Mapotofu is one of the most popular Chinese dishes in Japan. If it doesn’t taste good, so many Japanese would not have liked it.
This is os the firt time i here mexican complaining about other peoples food being spicy. Lol
lulu esta obsesionada con el chicharron jjajaj amo
Lulu is a grandma?!!😭
Alma is elegant. Lulu is hilarious.
lulu is the real mvp 😂
Seriously you choose those dishes? There are a lot of delicious chinese dishes to try if you are a 1st timer. I’m a filipino but I love chinese food. You must research best chinese food before introducing it to your countrymen. I love noodle soups, fried rice, stir fry noodles, spring rolls, siopao, steamed fish and chinese dimsums are the best.
Serving mabo dofu without rice feels illegal
I died at Kunpao-or gongbao chicken. As a sichuan cuisine home cook from shandong province I would never admit that this is a "kunpao chicken"
