Encanto is my favourite disney movie in terms of songs. Not only are they all groovy and catchy, but the lyrics are so relatable and if you watch the movie you realise how much they add to the plot and character progression, it's insane.
The fact you got over 7:00 into the video before realizing she has super strength...how to tell a song reallllly hooked you in, you eyes just appreciate the pretty stuff 🤣
I've seen maybe 20-30 reactors and you're the first who has picked up on and commented on the "pshh" -> "pressure" whisper tracks that I like so much. I think in the first verse, it's just "pssh" like a beatboxer and where you paused it becomes "pressure" and in final build it's "pressure, pressure"... a progression to both increase the intensity and a subliminal to reinforce the message. "We don't talk about Bruno" was amazing in its layering but this song is all-around brilliant. When you tie together the lyrics and the message this is "Disney's" best song to date.

For me, I think it continually dropped back down every time because going big is a cathartic release in a way, and Luisa is never allowed to have that here or in life. The up and down of the song just reinforces her constant daily pressure.
Would love to see more reactions to Encanto songs! Though I feel I should warn to stay away from Dos Oruguitas (it hits harder with the visuals) and All of You, mostly because those two spoil really important things in the movie, could be better to react to those as you watch the movie than watch them separated, but it's your choice!

Dos origutos (two caterpillars) makes you cry watching it. The song is airy and so touching and completely in Spanish so you are surprised to he moved so heavily by it as an English speaker.

You should check out arcane enemy. Also idk if you’ve ever dove into the world of league of legend songs but as a producer you’d love em. They also have nice cinematics for the audience.
