The final battle is here.
This was a nice playthrough of the story. Really liked how the final battle went and, in my opinion, is better than Calamity Ganon final boss in the original Breath of the Wild. Then again, I did play all of story mode in Very Hard mode, so it was something of an experience to do and I'm glad I did it.
I'll definitely be doing all the challenges that I can and stream them when I can.
Difficulty: Very Hard
Thank you all for watching! Until next time!
Please like, share, and/or subscribe! :D
If you would like to donate, it would definitely help me a lot with being more motivated in making more gameplay and playthrough videos: streamlabs.com/linkmstr

Since the beginning of the game, the weak-point smash was made out to be an insta-kill move you could pull off on enemies if you could deplete their gauge. So when I did it against Calamity Ganon and saw that it only did like 5% of his health, I knew this was about to get interesting.
I just beat this on hard mode and it does about 8-10 percent of his health. I don't even wanna think about doing this mission on very hard difficulty, it was challenging enough on hard.
That combo at 57:51 was brutal.
He means ganon
He's easily the toughest but most fun boss in the game yeah.
If you're not fast, he could probably kick your ass in a few combos
It doesn’t hold a candle to 26:51
Nintendo:We unifying the timeliness so only one timeline
Also Nintendo: we changed our mind.
The way Astor says MY FAAAAAATE in the beginning is so weird
Wait. so does this mean that this is an alternate timeline where the calamity was stopped the first time and the champions never perished?
It is. So basically this is canon but plays in an alternate Timeline. Terrako was unintentionally sent back in time by BotW Zelda when she unlocked her sealing powers at Fort Hateno and this timeline basically tells was happens by Zeldas action in the BotW Timeline. One can most of AoC also happened in the BotW Timeline just a little bit different up until Terrako sent the new Champions back in time to save the old Champions from their demose
Yes
@@linknoir8269 demise
I like this timeline better.
Yeah I think it is
Wait hold on did anyone else hear ganon say noooo when Zelda used her power at 1:00:30
Put simply, its a split in the timelines.
Terrako traveling into the past, and inadvertently allowing some of BOTW!Ganon's malice to follow him through the portal instantly created a new timeline the moment they went through.
Zelda never suffered the crippling confidence issues since she got to fight on the front lines with the Sheikah Slate (thanks to Terrako's intervention) making her more receptive to confidence boosters from Urbosa.
Link being identified as the Chosen Hero was not destiny, but necessity, since Astor's Ambush would've damn well ended Zelda had the Master Sword not responded to Link's call to save the princess. Meaning Zelda never comes to hate Link. Also, he was the LAST one before her who was chosen, instead of the very first, as BOTW'S backstory confirms Link got the Master Sword first before the Champion Recruitment happened (this also exacerbating Revali's vitriol of Link, since when their fight happened, it was the Champion of the Rito against some no name punk, and Revali was the clear loser if you look at the final moment of their battle. Revali would've been a lot more tolerant if he lost to a fellow Champion, showing clearly through his commentary when fighting Urbosa.)
BOTW!Calamity Ganon's involvement, via possessing the deactivated Terrako native to AOC's Timeline, also caused some changes as well, all in the name of increasing his chances for a total win. Starting with the 4 races being attacked far sooner than before, and causing the fight between Link and Revali to happen in the first place as Harbinger Ganon, and triggering the Great Calamity HOURS ahead of schedule, which traps Link and Zelda in the castle with a massive amount of now corrupted Guardians, and keeping the Prophet of Doom in the dark of his REAL purpose until the moment was just right. The final battle even plays this up further, as not only did BOTW!Ganon use the already insanely powerful AOC!Terrako as a vessel, he absorbs Astor (already skilled in using Malice and a cold hearted jerk to boot) to fully manifest in a COMPLETE physical form (something he NEVER did in BOTW), and for an added bonus, BOTW!Ganon is implied to have absorbed AOC!Ganon, which would explain his complete invulnerability to everything and the massive power increase. Including the divine weapon and the powers of the goddess that were tailor made to destroy him.
Isn't it implied that the Master Sword and the Sealing Power don't work right because that's not actually Ganon(dorf), but an aspect of him that escaped whatever sealing was done with that Ancient Hand.
You know what
knowing that's calamity ganon's true power
(totk spoilers)

Suddenly, it makes a hell of a lot more sense why TotK Ganon was able to rust all the weapons in Hyrule, but especially the Master Sword.
@@lhd23 oh, the sheer irony of this post and how it aged like wine, my friend.
@@Manavine RIGHT!?!?
31:38 haha flying bokoblins be going brrrr
So it follows BotW events for about 90 seconds in the beginning, (Zelda awakening her sealing magic) then creates a new timeline. A happier timeline.
That’s how I’m choosing to look at it. I’m just excited to play as Urbosa, Sidon, Zelda Awakened & Maz Koshia.
22:40 the king got a little angry with Link
I actually kind of liked this epic final battle. It was quite satisfying to both play and watch the cutscenes in which Link uses his sword to give a final slice onto Calamity Ganon.
Girl: * slaps me * u wouldn’t hit a girl right?
Me: 59:55
LOL
HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-
@@pawn1234 Annnd the girl died
I love this game!
Imagine a Mario Bros game like this!
The harbinger Ganon boss I was stuck on for so long since I forgot that you can use a shield the fact how easy it was when I used my shield made me rage lol 😂
I like how Blight Ganons scream
I played the game, it’s incredible
@26:52, poor Revali! 🤣
So do The champion’s descendants return to the breath of the wild timeline or the age of calamity timeline, 100 years later?
I think to the BOTW timeline
BOTW timeline where Terrako is originally from
I wonder the same, because Sidon looked sad when Mipha said they'll see each other again. Mipha will, but Sidon won't in the future where she's dead.
I wondering if you can bring all non controlable allies to the final area. I did'nt saw someone doing that stunt
you can do it little guy-Daruk
don't screw it up-revali
(32:28) Serves you right, Astor!!
I'm level 70 right now in very hard mode and I'm still not even close to this bit... I'm not gonna give up on my 100% first run though
This game is canon until 4 champions are almost killed and becomes parallel universe after.
No, there's a lot of other stuff that's not canon before that, like the meeting of all 4 champions greatly differed from what we saw in the champions ballad dlc, the sheikah towers shouldn't have risen, Zelda never shows her hatred towards link, and maybe more I'm forgetting
Not really, a link without a master sword in the beginning was already different.
@@Someone-gp3jh it's all still canon. They're different timelines but they're both still correct
@@Someone-gp3jh It’s canon, but in a split timeline. The reason a lot of events are different between BOTW and AOC is because the future Terrako came to the past and changed everything. Remember the butterfly effect that even a small change can change the entire future.
59:55 pov: you turned off the console while someone was playing
(Link: that person)
(Ganon: you)
during a battle can we swap charecters
for example
if you start with revali
then swap with urbosa
Yes, you can.
Link can do it alone
No Bc he died a couple of times
59:32 finishing up with your bow link!
I really like that ending but it didn’t tell us how link died.
Link never died, he was badly injured, the final memory in botw tells you what happend
Hello Hinoka, nice Lora Xenoblade 2 pfp you got there
@@catalyst539 Thanks Lora just looks too similar to Hinoka I just had to.
ikr
It was during the siege of Fort Hateno where he was injured in Breath of the Wild. He was already badly hurt by the endless waves of Guardians attacking the fort, and Zelda awakening her sealing power to destroy them all nearly killed him.
When I play this level, I play as Link, Zelda, Mipha, and Revali.
Why did Terrako not bring Link and Zelda back from the future to help out with Teba, Riju, Yunobo and Sidon? It would have been an awesome battle for the game.
Huh-
Because they are already there?no?
Does anyone know the music from the field in the story level before this?
EGGY NOOOOO!
Can anyone explain why I'm looking at a thunder frog at 12:46?
Probably that frog deity that Paya was talking about from Botw
Calamity Ganon went Super Saiyan God! 😜
Disappointed by the fact that they didn't show anything new of the first timeline :(
A thing i find weird is that in botw there’s still kogha in the yiga clan but suppa is not whit him he’s definitly not human
He surely died or just didnt show up
IDK why people are so salty about the ending. We already saw everything that actually happened in BOTW, so why should this game repeat that?
It’s better for this game to have this ending, so that the 4 Champions get more development and cool interactions with their future counterparts that we never saw in BOTW. Also it makes a cool split timeline to see what if everyone won instead of losing, which ultimately makes the BOTW timeline even sadder and more tragic than it already is.
How do you get the three special bars
gotta unlock them on the map for that specific character
I damn near cried when terrako died
But who awake Blight Ganons in Breath of the Wild, if in this game Astor have control of Blight Ganons?
I saw zeldas mother i only saw her dress but not the face it like the blue one that zelda dresses
What is the name of the music used In this.
I only have one thing too say
Why does terrako have all those weapons if baby zelda made him
one last fight
ooooooooooooo
Why didn't you use ur special the first 2 times you lost to egg!? 🤔
I think I wanted to save up my specials for the final battle.
Honestly after seeing Age of Calamity I can describe it as a fix fan fiction. I know that sounds dumb but hear me out in the end it shows the heroes victory over the calamity, and in BOTW it’s a post apocalyptic world so it should have ended in the heroes defeat rather than victory, I do think this game is non canon it’s no where close to the events of BOTW.
is canon, but it another timeline
@@lordsaladito Did nintendo confirm that this hyrule warrior is hot at btw? If yes, show me the website that says it. For me, with the advent of other wonders I see it as the other hyrule warrior taking advantage of the popularity of btw
@@yuki654 im just speculating man, it would be cool tho that this is canon
@@yuki654 bruh, your so arrogant. just because you're mad that it didn't end like that doesn't mean everyone else is. besides it is canon
@@smexysaladd I’m not arrogant or angry.
34:03 I feel bad for the little guy like it's not his fault its astors hes controlling him
Feel bad for Link he killed him like three times
Kormok
How is it the champions die then? They are alive at the end of this.
It's more a what-if scenario. In BOTW, we know that the Champions died while in their own Divine Beasts facing against Ganon's blights. Age of Calamity just gives us some glimpses of what may have happened in the past, but eventually splitting out.
:)
:)
*FIRST!*
hey, do you have plans to do a 100% stream? In finishing everything else left.
Please do Monk Maz Koshia!
im tenth
Im definitely first
disappointing ending
Disappointing comment
Yeah i think so but this game was created for the fans so that they (the fans) could wait for the lunch of botw2
yeah
agreed
Can people enjoy not seeing everybody die?
