I LOVED your discussion on intentional gift-giving! The key is to figure out what the *recipient* wants or needs. Sadly, I see so many crafters feeling dejected at the end of the holiday season because people didn't appreciate their handmade gifts... but I've found, not everyone *wants* handmade products to begin with - some people like showing off their brand names, and to each their own! I'll keep sewing for myself anyway, and the family/friends who like handmade. 😁 I love all the gift suggestions! Cheers! ✨

This year, I found that making gifts was less stressful than buying them, but in a different year with different circumstances, it could be totally opposite and maybe I’d rather save my time and buy gifts or experiences instead. It’s all so personal, so don’t feel bad at all if you can’t make gifts this year. Sometimes I like to resort to “buying an experience.” For example; my parents and I are making candles and Christmas dinner together this Christmas. I’m really looking forward to it and I think it will be more memorable than opening gifts 🎁 💗

Ideas for things I might be making this year (though I haven’t finalized all my plans, so it’s a longer list than it should be): - a dice bag for DND - microwave rice heating pad for bad cramps - soft gloves that are comfy to wear at night (for a sibling who has very poor circulation) - storage bag for crochet hooks (for someone who currently keeps them in a ziploc bag) - wall organizer for things like keys, wallet, earbuds, etc. - cord organizer (for all cords/chargers/etc. that aren’t currently in use around the house) - dog poop bag holder (since they are so easily broken and/or lost) I love your silk/satin pillowcase idea! I don’t know why it never occurred to me to make them myself, rather than trying to find a decent one that isn’t ridiculously expensive. Excellent ideas! I’ll have to look up your instructions for that zero waste bag, it’s very cute!
