lets not forget ruby went to atlas specifically to get help from ironwood and because he a stressed man with a shit ton on his plate including RUNNING A KINGDOM kept a secret from her and the group they backstabbed him leading to atlas falling, penny dying (again), a lot of the atlas populace getting stranded in a desert with a shit ton of grim.
Somehow predicted WarnerBros death by Ruby, and was not disappointed. Officially my favorite KWC episode. 10/10.

To be fair Roosterteeth was a shell of it's former self before it was shut down, it having almost none of it's original staff left and the videos just kept getting worse and worse them even forcing people to go and use their website to try and stay afloat after taking their videos off of TH-cam.

Let's be frank, after Monty's death RWBY lost its direction and soul only to face plant hard story wise shortly thereafter.
Ruby only hope is to make a deal with the devil, Daki.
Can't wait for tomorrow.
To be honest, given the problems both RWBY and Rooster Teeth itself had in their last few years, I look at the cancellation as more of an Old Yeller situation more than anything else.
Ruby got a bunch of people killed and all she did was lie to Ironwood.
2:20-Well Rooster Teeth, and most of its shows like RWBY, Red vs Blue and Gen:Lock, started to go downhill since 2016/2027 as each of them started to take a drop in quality in terms of animation, story telling and characterization. And don’t forget all of the behind the scenes drama that occurred during the production of each show.
Well Rooster Teeth has not been profitable for WB in years, not too mention many of their shows were just getting really stupid too. The fact they stayed alive for as long as they did was amazing in their own right. Hell even WB didnt even give them the green light for a season 10 of RWBY cause maybe they knew they were not gonna stick around long enough to do it or maybe there just wasnt enough fan fare....maybe, still very surprised they actually "Finished" RVB after all these years with the original writers. Yes Zaslav has cut many things but he is the one trying to keep the company afloat as WB is also in financial crap too

As much as I am glad that RWBY exists and sad that it is dead, it may be for the best because, since Monty Oum's death, Rooster Teeth seemed to care more about who to ship with who rather than the actual plot.

Didn't the Blake x Yang subplot start while he was still alive? Is there even another real ship in the show? I can only think of Nora x Ren, but they share backstory, so that seemed pretty predictable to me.

The show writers that took over only started to slowly put it into the plot after he died. Wait...you're directly contradicting what the original comment was saying. They said RT started the shipping after he died, but you're saying he had ships that the people who stepped in didn't make. Come to think of it, you're contradicting yourself. You said Blake x Yang only happened after he died and that he had no intentions for it but that he also had a bunch of ships that got written out.

Again I was referring to ONLY BumbleBee shipping happening in the show after he died. Before he died he did not once mention or hinted at anything involving those two getting together. And the part where I said “and yes there were other ships” was in part to answering your other question since you said yourself that the only other real ship you could think of was Ren x Nora. I was referring to ships like Jaune x Pyrrha (also in short of me saying ships won’t come to pass as either said characters were written out or killed off as Pyrrha WAS killed off) and Blake x Sun (again to the statement of being killed of or written off as Sun was being removed making less and less appearances, most likely due to the show writers wanting Blake x Yang to happen) and another one, albeit to my admission that I can not confirm this claim in particular, but apparently Monty had stated at one point that he was going to get Ruby and Jaune together.
