Teams RWBY and CRDL return to Beacon Academy after their mission - to deal with the fallout of breaking its terms.
Evermorrow is a story that takes place in a world where Beacon didn't fall (among other changes), so Team RWBY & Friends are free to continue their education at Beacon - though it'll still be challenging!

Rewatching the first episode, I honestly would find it cool if Evermorrow would have the other kingdoms falling down around Vale before Salem comes to Beacon.
It’d be like how you hear all the tragedies in Palestine and Ukraine or Sudan and scroll by… until it’s your country being carpet bombed. A dread of the world crumbling around us.

@@matt0044 Only problem with that is Kaleidoarms (the creator of this RWBY AU) has confirmed that Salem won't be in it as it is the AU where she and Ozma never existed. While Watts and Hazel are in it, that does not necessarily mean Salem will be there.

No unsupervised missions until the summer is definitely the least of Team RWBY’s worries, and boy does that open up so many avenues.

The animation looks like it's improving with each episode, with references to Roman Holiday, and a reference to the Justice League movie. Plenty of humorous comments as well, bat powers, ice queen, freckle twins. Really looking forward to seeing what comes next.

Very fun episode, loving the leaps and bounds the visuals keep making and especially loved the RDL lads getting more wrinkles to them especially with Cardin in the doghouse, never would have expected Bertilak though, hell of a pull.
Also you guys had way too much fun with the Nora mission "details", that kiss pic XD

To be fair, this means that Dove and Sky are not that bad. High school bullies, sure, but at least they know when to draw the line with Cardin, plus Dove admitting his team's attitude towards people. I do love how those two are written.
Given they had so few moments in the main show and were designed so Cardin had a team, I wanted to expand on their personalities a little more so they stood out from each other. They're still not *amazing* guys, but some are better than others.
@@kaleidoarms I don't have to call them "amazing," even with their unique Semblances, but I do love how you write them in this AU. Makes me want to have an healthy ambivolence with them like Ruby did, considering those two are not that bad compared to Cardin.

Seriously, Cardin may still be a hateable A-hole and well on the way to becoming a villain, but he got substance, and while Rustle still needs work the rest of Team CRDL were actually good, Dove especially. You did great!

I wouldn't be surprised. Especially, since instead of telling Ozpin that Jaune cheated his way into Beacon, he used it as leverage to blackmail Jaune into doing his bidding.
Honestly I hope he finds redemption. It's so typical for him to go down the villain arc. I want to see Cardin redeemed and become a decent person for a change.

Man this is just so charming. The first fully animated episode. The world expansion bringing Berlatik the Green Knight into the ep & making the Shopkeeper Dove’s grandpa (that’s actually amazing), more interactions between RWBY JNPR & OPAL, love it all.

Your commitment to quality shines in this finished product, and I am so glad you guys took the necessary time to produce the best show you can. Regarding the story, I was caught by surprise by the new roles you gave Bertilak and the Shopkeep as Team CRDL's relatives. On top of that, I like that Cardin's poor behavior on the mission led to real consequences for him, and hopefully his "friends" can improve themselves while he is absent.
Team RWBY being banned from unsupervised missions for the remainder of the semester made me curious as to who we'll see accompanying the girls on later missions. I'd love to see Oobleck, Port, or Peach make a cameo on one of these missions. I also love how Ruby paid Dove's good deed forward and suggested him as CRDL's interim leader. I'm excited to see how their "healthy ambivalence" evolves moving forward.

I love how y’all have written in characters introduced post-Volume 3, makes it really feel like an AU rather than just a rewrite. It’s also been rewarding to see the production quality go up with each episode that’s released! Please keep up the good work!

It was lovely to see Ruby recommend Dove. It's nice to see the action influence the character development like that.
I will say, I'm disappointed that Russell's dad looks... pretty much exactly like him but bigger and older. It's a bit of a sore spot that 'RWBY' has so much Generation Xerox going on as is and now we have an adoptive parent who takes that so much further.
Bertilak is technically Russel's adoptive dad who trained him, in this context Russel kinda copied his style with the mohawk. I picked him out of the list of characters because their descriptions were similar (Russel's in the main show, Bertilak's in the CFVY books) and felt like it'd be neat to connect the two.
I get what you mean about the characters and parents being too identical, though! I'll keep that in mind if we ever do the Arcs or something.

Recently stumbled upon this series and finally found time to watch through it. I gotta say I wish this was the direction the show actually went in. A few extra volumes at Beacon would have done wonders for characterization and world building all around. Thank you all involved for keeping the torch alive.
If only RoosterTeeth wasn't so impatient in getting the show's main story moving forward too soon.

It's apparent that Neo's Father is alive due to the above Broadcast, but it is weird since this AU takes place after Vol. 3 with little deviation from the previous Canon.

Well considering that the Fall of Beacon never happened in this depiction, there's still a chance that the people will start to think the schools are training the next generation to be brutal, reckless, barbaric and above the law. They are technically child soldiers after all.

Honestly the dialogue is the best part of this series hands down. Seriously. The characterization is simply superb, plus the comedy is brilliant. Just saying.

The production quality in Evermorrow continues to impress more and more. In voice acting and the way you've laid out individual scenes, your team really has captured the feel of the characters and show from the Monty Oum supervised first three years of the original. And the new plot lines you're creating make perfect sense. I really appreciate the effort all of you are putting in for this.

It’s a cool AU but I hestitate to say that I’d take this over the more free form story in seeing Remnant up close and personal.

@@matt0044 I really didn't enjoy Volume 6. 7 felt like a mess mixed with character assassinations, so I didn't even bother with 8 or 9.
Evermorrow is not meant to be a replacement for the original show. We appreciate you checking the AU out but please do not get the wrong idea. This is made by people who love the main show as is. This is just Kales spin on the world and characters and we would rather it not be used against the show.

I love that this is reminding me why i fell in love with RWBY in the first place, wholesome, entertaining and a pleasant amount of jankiness
This series is like a trauma center for us still-wounded Arkos shippers and honestly I'm all for it.

Gotta say, y'all. It's pretty impressive to see the animation quality improve over every episode. Story's pretty easy to follow, too. Almost takes me back to when I followed the Madness Combat series; seeing the animation itself gain even more detail as time goes on - leading up to MC even getting its own storyline.
Looking forward to seeing where it goes from there.

@@oscarstainton It's not that i didn't like them, it's just that they felt kinda random in each volume and forward. You can clearly see the downgrade of consistency. But anyway you are right about the part that none of these fanfics would have existed if it wasn't for the canon continuation.

I like this AU, most of all because it enables a timeline where Neo can continue to be happy, and have her counterpart. I loved reading roman holiday and RomaNeo is my favorite villain pair.

Dislike: Glynda's purple shirt. It doesn't suit her. Purple is better as a highlight color for her and not as a main.

Wow this AU captures the Beacon episodes feel so well and understands the characters I'm impressed and I'm a sceptical person surprised Team CRDL has an actual personality Roman Torchwick is always a treat and Neo is always entertaining I am looking forward to seeing how this evolves over time
Edit: I can also see the interesting differences with Oscar being part of Beacon being an example the cute farmboy no longer burdened with Ozpin/Ozma although I wonder if it will be a complete change will Ozpin become Oscar or will Oscar become Ozpin or will they merge and wonder why they ever feared it to begin with? Either way I wanna punch a certain golden dragon ....rambling anyway this series is fun so much life to it I will be looking forward to the next installment

I loved the dialogue between everybody in this one. It's cute. I shall not ship anyone yet, because I don't know with we're working with yet. (Besides, I personally ship Lancaster more and this is an Arkos story. That being said the Jaune and Pyrrha fused at the mouth comment got a chuckle out of me so one to ya for that.)

What do you call a huntsman or huntress that is distrustful?, poachers you call them poachers.
The lore of the poacher: a poacher is a disgraced huntsman or huntress who lies cheats and steals, upon their deception, they are branded the mark called the poachers mark, those who wear the Mark have special privileges ripped away from them, and look down upon in society.
Both Poachers and Huntresses are expected to protect the people and fight against the Grimm, but they went about it in different ways. While Huntresses worked in the open and fought by the book, Poachers operated in the shadows and did whatever it took to accomplish their goals. If you like this idea feel free to use it."😊

honestly, the change from 2d statics to full 3d animated pannels was a great glow up in this episode, don't know if it will hold up for later episodes, maybe you're compensating for the fight scenes though, which is comprehensible.
You're diving even deeper in team cardinal (more than you1ve done thus far, which was already impressive).
This is honestly becoming one of the best projects from the fanbase for real.

Tbh this might be a more better story then the actually rwby from vol 3 to 9 since tbh its better if they didnt end there school story too early it would be better if they stay in school for a while until things start to get seriously like how mha they stayed for a while in school until the later arcs get serious atleast we get to know more of the ocs when they are in school unlike rwby they ended school too early and went seperatedly and the ocs dont get that much character moments with each other sometimes dont go to new random places toooo early best to get to know the place and know more of the characters where they dont split up

Probably contrary to most, I hope this serves as a lesson for Cardin. I truly do hope that he gets an opportunity at redemption along with the rest of his team. I know he's an unlikeable asshole, but I would like it for him to become a decent person for a change.

It's my design, but I based it directly on his description from the novel:
"A tall, broad man with a green mohawk and matching goatee shoved Topaz aside. Coco registered the mace on his belt before she took in the rest of him. A brown hooded cloak made of coarse fabric was draped over his broad shoulders. He wore a green chestplate over a dirty black tunic; his biceps bulged from the short sleeves, showing off a long scar stretching down his right forearm."
