Receiving the news that the space marine fortress was surrounded by millions of dark army, the emperor sent one of the most magnificent titans of the empire, the reaver class titan, and the blood angels to accompany him to the space marine fortress.
The knights of the Galactic Republic, who gave every support to the empire in transporting this magnificent titan to earth, also took their place on the battlefield to fight shoulder to shoulder with the imperial soldiers to save the castle.

The titans and regular space marines aren't enough. It's time to deploy adeptus astartes ultra. Send in the Ultramarines
before even watching this and i will watch it all, at 0:20 i can already teel if this is accurate to the lore, the titan not only wins, but its an absolute one sided massacre. Titans are world ending weapons in 40k. A single one would wipe out billions of enemies with even suffering a scratch. Its like a flyting space ship with infinite ammo shooting at tiny ants. In 40k there is saying: The only way to fight against a titan is by using a titan.... Or exterminatus which is basically the same thing as destroying a whole planet from orbit. What im say, is the titan would probably win even if it was alone.
here is an idea: Space marine foretress with one reaver class titan, vs 1 million jedi, 10 million clones with a ton of star wars vehicles or whatever they have. And watch the massacre. And by the way, the space marine if the were lore accurate would be more likely to shoot at the jedi then at the forces of chaos because most jedi are not humans and the Imperium of MAN absolutely hates xenos (aliens)
oh and the forces of Chaos also have titans. Usually when titan is deployed, its to fight another titan. In 40k, only the Necron non titan units that can battle against titans... But then again, the Necron are the most advanced and powerful faction of 40k.

In reality, a Reaver-class Titan would literally just...stroll back and forth across the battlefield, squishing this enemy army en-mass.
It's void shield alone would evaporate anything short of war machine that of a titan to even make physical contact with them.
I was waiting for the Apocalypse launcher to just annihilate a whole mass of them… sadly it didn’t. 😢

En masse, two words, not a hyphenate. En-mass, doesn't mean anything in English, but we can extrapolate based on words like enliven (to make more lively) would mean "make more massive", not mean, "in large groups" like the actual words derived from the French.
Like using inflammable when you mean non-flammable, you are actually saying almost the opposite of your intended message.

The forces in the fortress should have held up inside the fortress to avoid unnecessary losses

The best advantage a force has outnumbered and defending is prepared fortifications. Which they surrendered nearly at the beginning.
I liked that one marine just jogging backwards, blowing away the mob of enemies pursuing but unable to reach him.

Superb kiting
Very cool to see the Reaver as it tends to be the most underutilized of the titan classes, usually overlooked in favor of the Warlord and Imperator class. Though I might have sent all the tripods out to set up a picket line and attempt to hold back the Reaver and the Warhounds for as long as possible as there’s not much infantry and WW2 era tanks can do against the god engines and Jedi except get annihilated.

Dude, I didn't think it was possible to literally create lakes of blood. I can't imagine the size of an armada of carrion birds and other scavengers that would soon swoop down when they see a giant bloody lake, lol.
and the more I think about those who have to clean it up, the sadder I get.

the funny part is the maximum size of battle the best modern commercial pc could render is probably just a normal day in 40k and not even considered as a massive fight at all.

The Reaver seemed to have trouble targeting the infantry at times. I would say the Warhounds were more effective but it's hard to argue against the Jedi and the Tripods when they both just mowed down anything in front of them. The fact that my Blood Angels could backpedal faster than an orc could run makes me wonder if they couldn't have just kited this entire army themselves. SANGUINIUS FOREVER FOREVER SANGUINIUS

Honestly the greatest surprise is how did the Emperor of Mankind indoctrinate the entire Jedi order into not only in support of such carnage, but also made them speed up the training to create thousands of force users whose only purpose is war.

Most effective unit were the jedi, they literally were op for the numbers they had and just cut through hoards with little effort, im guessing but it seems they could deflect enemy ranged fire so that made them double as tanks protecting rear ranged units. The two pistol marine and the Giant mech came in at a even second not far behind. The most effective enemy unit might be the walking tripods, if they cam into the fight more. They seemed to have an AI problem that made them linger in the rear alot till they died from enemy ranged fire. but they could ignore the battlements and were killing marines like they were nothing.
yes, the jedi have done a great job, but they are quite vulnerable to large creatures.
The Titan looks cool and kills stuff, but its weapon is a little understated. Meanwhile, we've graduated to the level where we see infantry with guns that actually do something, which is exciting. And we have a whole bunch of effective mechs.
I'd love to see a mech that basically has a lightning gun but a higher rate of fire. It wouldn't have to be as strong as the Tripod lightning (those Tripods are bad, bad machines), but a nice reasonably short-range at least once-a-second zap. If Tesla and the Space Marines can do it, surely there can be an armored cav upgrade. Just a couple of those, mowing down enemy infantry up close, would be nice.
in fact, this is the lack of the game. i hope the developers will make more beautiful animations.
@@BattleSimulatorCenter Indeed. Even the Warhounds weapons are capable of deleting whole sections of the battlefield. The Reavers apocalypse missile pod could wipe out entire hordes on it's own.

Enjoyed this more when there were more historical units, though thanks for the video.
Only problem with the titan is it had no enemy that could stand up to it in battle. It literally cut through the enemy forces like they were nothing. The only time you should use it again in battle is if you have a giant enemy unit that can stand toe to toe with it and give it a good fight. But other then that it was a fun battle to watch.

I feel like that is actually the essence of titans and other similarly powerful entities in wh40k though. If something like that is ever deployed onto a live battlefield, there isn't anything that supposed to be capable of coming anywhere near the damage potential spewed forth from it. It the kind of unit that if you were an enemy guardsman and you saw that titan make landfall literally less than a kilometer ahead of you, you instantaneously make peace with yourself knowing full well that there is nothing anyone, other than maybe some Adeptus Custodes, can do to prevent the vaporization of your entire being.

Could not really tell what damage the titan was doing so a bit of a let down.
It had to be firing into a crowd, with the camera at the right angle, for you to really see that it was just carving a path right through. Its gun does what the CIWS ought to do in this game, but it's less visually impressive.
actually, he has tremendous firepower, but I think I didn't reflect it well. I'm sorry.
its actual rockets would have slaughtered massed infantry I think

Space Marine living the dream. His battle brothers will sing songs of heroic distraction and destruction of so many foes from his brethren caught in the main batlles.
Feels like the Jedi were the most effective units on the field.
The blood angels walk backwards faster than anyone can forwards. Its all they did when enemies got close. The jedi lead the way an broke the seige. The marines at the base held out for long time, and didnt run backwards 1 step.
As is the way with black templar. You push forward no matter the cost, never fall back, never surrender a foot. For Dorn! For Sigusmund! FOR THE GOD EMPEROR!
I liked how the Legion of the Damned were all using thunder hammers when it should’ve been all boltguns and flamers, lol.

Reaver class looks cool but needs more animations. You can see the effect by the half circle around him but for effect need to see some indication of shots instead of just gun spinning.
we can see the firing shots at the bottom, in some views we see the shots reap in the mass of orcs.
Like helicopters, the titan shoots just above the ground.

This isn't a race to save the chapter hold up in that castle. That's the Black Templar chapter. It'll be a race to try and have more kills than them before they reach you.
And that's the smallest battle class titan we have...

I like how the space marines actually retreat and shoot at the same time
what would be amazing to see is straight space marines and the death corps of krieg holding out against a tyranid swarm, while also a orc invasion is sprung on the same battlfield and see who comes out victorious, however you have to give orcs the same space marine tanks that the space marines have because that is what they use, the orcs break down imperial weapons and build their own version from the parts.
That last guy kiting a whole swarm to himself was def MVP and it was funny.

During the Great Crusade, the Emperor would sometimes just march thousands of Reaver-class Titans to convince opposing planets to surrender, imagine that on this game 😵

There was a mass of jedi, before there was an illusion that they were all dead.
They were far from the titan , this is why the camera lost the focus on them, and they were going to the castle while the titan and other robots and ranged units were the focus of the camera.
they were like the ghost army in the lord of the rings :)

Bolter Sentinels had a hard time hitting small targets. Like a less than 5% chance on an expected 30% at least. It's not like they're "hellish fast" swarming 'Nids.

This actually goes someway towards enabling my tiny human mind to comprehend the scale, the numbers, and the unending slaughter of 40k !! We are simply unable to visualize death tolls of billions, thousands of worlds being destroyed, and especially the incomprehensible distances between those worlds!
Would actually be funny if they developed a super oversized mingun based shotgun that blasts millions of shrapnel the size of a human head into the enemy lines. I mean one of the huge bolts from those massive guns is simply put overk*ll on anything but another titan.

Yay! It's table top accurate instead of more accurate lol, in lore the Reaver and War hounds would have just walked over everything and held the fortress as a single strong point and a single plasma gun shot could likely have killed the big units

the Reaver and warhounds titans should be making a B line for the castle instead of trying to finish off every enemy after the break through, they're wasting time that could be taking it to the enemy surrounding the castle. There would be alot of splash damage from the Gatling cannons of the Reaver titan just as compairable to the Plasma burst cannons of the Warhound Titans, bad guys would be vaporized by the devastating fire power.

The best strategies for this conflict are holding up inside the walls, and dealing in hard points, mostly by using tanks as extra pieces of artillery protected by some of the marines. But the goal of protecting a fortress is to keep the people outside from becoming the people on the inside. Even the Black Templars would understand that.
On the otherside, you see that vast army ahead of you your goal becomes making a wedge to part the army, while you send part of your forces to the aid of the fortress you want to then do the same. Those Titans inside the walls are an even greater threat, and getting more marines and hands to protect it is always good.

Yeah based on the terms of the fight, technically the human empires lost. In fairness the fact that the idiots ran out of their fortress to fight in open field was not fair. They could of held out way longer fighting in the fortress. Holding the choke points.

its also a little sad that the lightning weapon used by the tripods isnt one of the weapons on the reaver, and the reaver wouldnt even have to worry against orcs because its warp shield would just melt them if and thats a big if they ever got close enough
