I love when a bag just gets used and loved everyday. My speedy is worn to death and it's still my favourite. I adore the Métis too, it's such a great crossbody bag.

The ‘Since 1854’ is my fave and the blue, pearlised one because of its silver hardware. Hope to see the pink one back on the shelf soon! Such a pretty collection.

I have a very small luxury bag collection, but the pochette metis is one of my favorites. It makes me feel good to know that someone with an extensive collection like yours prefers that bag to all your others. It's a great bag. I've had mine since 2018, and have had no issues.
It really is my favourite bag as it’s so easy and suits my lifestyle. Happy you love yours too!
I love the pouchette Metis - I have the monogram and still love it. I managed to get it very early on when they were impossible to get and I had the choice of reverse or full monogram and honestly had a hard time choosing. I went for the full monogram and still love it to this day - years later. I would also consider the empriente leather but think I might try a Speedy in empriente first. Thanks for the review - I love your selection - beautiful.

Beautiful collection of the Pochette Metis. I'm sure your pink one will come back looking amazing just not nice when flaws aren't disclosed when buying used. I really felt for you in that video. I have one in the monogram and love it too. I don't use it everyday as I am not out everyday like you and don't have little ones where hands free is always handy. Oh I feel the same about the pochette metis 😍. It is a fantastic bag. I only have the reverse mono but an empreinte and world tour versions are on my wish list. Beautiful collection. I particularly like the 1854 one 😊.

My reverse PM is my favorite bag as well. I did switch out the strap to the reverse XL Bandouliere strap which is so so comfortable and I absolutely adore it. Trying to make myself use my SpeedyB 25 now which I do not like nearly as much. TFS!

You have some a lovely collection of them and I particularly like the denim look one and also the blue with the SHW. It took me so long to finally get my hands on a Pochette Métis. I really wanted it in monogram but when they were all the rage I could only get it in the reverse. I was ecstatic with that as they were sold out everywhere, however it just didn't suit me. I'm not sure if it was the shape of it on me or the colour...or both. So disappointing but I had to let it go. My everyday work bag is my Alma bb in epi noir. I live in the rainy UK now so it's completely carefree and where I work it's appropriate to be under the radar. It's a bag I would replace in a heartbeat if I wore it out too, I think we all have that bag!!

I have had one for years as my everyday bag and never fails to get compliments when I am wearing it. I have had people stop me on the street and in restaurants. Also thinking about a second one.

I got the black empreinted 1 year ago the glazing came off so they exchange me something else. 1 year later I bought another one but in the reverse. I love this bag. I just worry the glazing.

While the Pouchette Métis is not my everyday bag, it is the one bag I would keep if I could only have one bag. I also look at the 1854 version every now and again but I have the speedy and on the go. The collector in me feels like I need the PM to have the lot!

How does the empreinte leather hold up? Does it work in rain or do you have to protect it?
It softens over time. I don’t worry about mine in the rain,
I see you have the leather versions too. It seems like you prefer the canvas. Is that because of weight, care of materials, or something else?

Hi... nice bag ❤ It seems that your vachetta leather doesn't have any water stains even if you wear it every day, even when it rains. how does it hsppen, considering you are not babying your bag
It has patinaed. Natural leather will always darken over time and reacts with the oils in your skin. When you let it age naturally, you don’t get water spots. It gets wet, it dries and there are no spots.
@@livingluxwithmeredith I also have a boetie bag that has a vachetta, but the vachetta was water stained before it had patinated . Will the water stains disappear over time covered with a patina?

Absolutely!
I love your videos, but will give some advice that my speech teacher gave me. You do the same on what I do with the "clicking" the swallowing of your saliva as a tick or nerves. It can be a turn off for some people since it's distracting. Something to think about and what had helped was thinking slowly and you'll catch yourself. Girls helping girls. No hate, just a comment on what I'm learning.
