Hello! I am a Filipino myself. My direction is opposite to yours. I used to lived in Edmonton Canada, but only stayed for one year as I could not cope with the cold weather. I moved to Australia 30 years ago, worked hard and save money, stayed single, and helped my family in the Philippines. Now I owned my house (mortgage free), few hundred thousand dollars in the bank for life security, still single and have a white Australian girlfriend. I will completely be retiring next year and will travel the world. I have always thank God and go to the church every Sunday! " Work hard and spend money wisely" was the key to my good life now! However, the downside to my life is that I never got to have a family and failed to find a soulmate! ( I wanted to become a priest when I was in the Philippines!)
