It looks like there's an NX in the Star Trek: Beyond. It probably won't be this refit but something similar. The model used in into darkness was cool to see.
It is interesting to me that Enterprise shared a similar fate as the Original Series (cut short) and like the TOS, was not well received by the powers that be, yet fans continue to want more. Hopefully it won't take as long to get satisfaction.
I so wish they didn't cancel Enterprise. It's so good and just kept getting better. I wish it got 7 seasons. It deserved it and now that will probably never happen. :'(
So, this is an alternate reality NX -01 ?. So, since it resembles NCC -1701, how do we know that the other flat version wasn't alternate reality, and this refit. is the real one?. ( we've been watching the wrong show. It should have been this ship.)
I think the refit design is fantastic. A much better bridge between TOS and Enterprise series than the JJ Abrams Kelvin class. Always thought the NX01 looked a bit weird without an engineering hull and considering every other ship that had the name Enterprise had one it seemed odd that this one didn't. I mean it was obviously important but I think they were going for a tie-in to the First Contact Cochrane look.
Haha! I thought that was mine! I frantically ran around the house with my phone so I wouldn't miss the review and I kept hearing that bloody chirp! Un believable!
Love the refit- Drexler did a fantastic job inching the design towards the TOS-era ships. My one complaint about the Eaglemoss model is the complete lack of detail on the edge of the saucer. The original NX-01 model had, despite its small size, a full complement of windows, airlocks and cladding, where the refit has smooth edges there, which, as we can see in the magazine, isn't the case. So, I'm in love overall with the model, but disappointed that Eaglemoss dropped the ball on the saucer sides. Enjoyed the review!
Those are good observations and I agree if they were able to do it on the first and smaller model then it should have been even easier to do it on this one. I guess it was just an oversight on their part. One other thing I noticed was that the bridge section is painted in a white color. The outer color of the NX-01's bridge section is actually a coppery color on the top of the saucer and white on the bottom. Perhaps this was an intentional change for the "upgrade" but it really doesn't make much sense if that part of the ship didn't undergo major modification. Not a big deal, just something I noticed.
I"m convinced the whole season Xindi plot is what killed an otherwise promising series. I was looking forward to the Romulan Star Empire plot hinted at the end of season one.
Absolutely agreed. The Xindi arc was terrible, and the season 3 finale sealed the deal for me. I didnt watch any of season 4 until very recently. It's really too bad they didnt do that instead of the idiotic xindi arc.
The studio executives really wanted a time travel arc so they could show off some more advanced tech that the time period would otherwise see. Which shows they clearly didn't understand the point of the show. Execs killed Voyager too, that's why it had so much inconsistency throughout its run.
I loved the Xindi arc, and by extension the whole time travel aspect, It shows what an isolated starship captain is capable of when his friends, family, and indeed his entire life could be wiped out at any moment. Also if it weren't for Shran helping humanity when it was the most vulnerable, and the incident at Pjem, Andorians likely would not have joined the Coalition of Planets therefore the Federation as we know it would be very, very different, for it was the Andorians who provided the basis for energy shielding. Without them humanity may have never developed it and the most legendary ships would have met their end long before they achieved anything.
Great show. To be honest I think the refit solves my biggest problem with the original. With the twin boom design I was always trying to imagine how the entire engineering section, energy delivery mechanisms etc, worked layout wise. The secondary hull concept solves that very nicely. As for your opening, and the opening to Enterprise, I thought that one of the most strikingly creative things the show did was create a completely different opening for the alternate universe episode. That was brilliant.
Laddy, that's nay a scuff. Just a bit of a scorching when the Romulans targeted the bridge. The Klingons are proud of such hull scorches to show a triumphant ships battle scars.
Mine came a couple of weeks ago and I have to say the detailing is fantastic. It's very solid too and looks brilliant on my shelf. My only complaint is the stand is a bit naff. They should use a simply bayonet style insert or something so it isn't as wobbly. It's perfectly fine once it's on its stand and not being moved around but the slightest knock and it's off its perch. I've just ordered the D and Connie refit to sit beside their older (and younger at the same time lol) sibling. I'm waiting for the E, B, C and original Connie to come back in stock too add to the collection! I'd get the massive Connie but I don't have the room sadly.
Thanks for the post. I really wish they would have stuck with the older designs. Remember the USS Boneventure, Daedalus class, from the animated series? From some of the designs i have seen, the ships that fought the Romulan war were bulkier. Nice design of the NX-01.
Ugh, I so want this ship. Not just in my hands, but on TV to. Sure Discovery will hopefully be interesting, but man I really want them to go back to then Enterprise well. Also, can I be annoyed you didn't get a replacement ship? That way you could have sent me one! Haha. Seriously, Canada didn't see ANY of the special issues, and now we have no ships at all. So annoying.
The NX-Refit S.S. Enterprise, appears to be the coolest ship I have ever seen. I bought it from the away mission website. If Star Trek Enterprise hadn't cancelled, they would have made a new season Star Trek Enterprise with the NX-Refit. That would've been awesome.
That looks like a very natural progression to the design. The 1 thing I could not see in the refit was where did the shuttle craft bay go? Where the neck of the new lower hull attaches directly over where the old shuttle bay was. Looking at the new design there was no obvious location. With the new deign was there additional capabilities, like going faster and shields or a tractor beam?
I think, yes, they shouldve gone with this ship for season 5. it was disappointing it was cancelled. that model is better than the steamrunner one they made, ill give it that. looks great. really fun to shee this ship as a full 3d object. and yeah, agreed, the pylons are GORGEOUS.
Love this refit. I recently bought all 4 seasons of Enterprise, and after watching it and reading about the ideas they had for other seasons, I'm really sad they cancelled the show. I had hope they might revisit the series if the new show was indeed an anthology, but alas, it apparently is not. Need more in-depth Romulan villains, Klingons are too overused.
This is a spectacular looking ship. Enterprise is the series I pay the least amount of attention to, but if this ship had shown up on-screen I would have started looking more. I love that it's bigger too!
Enterprise should have been exclusively about the formation of the Federation and the Earth Romulan war. Throw in episodes about the limits of the tech at the time and you would have had a great series. Instead, they focused too much on pointless plot lines (temporal civil war) and episodes that could have been in any trek, no matter the era. I would still love to see a series about those early days but I fear the failure of this attempt might mean we never see it.
The size change wouldn't be a refit but a completed rebuild of the hull from ground up. I could see the original size with the additional secondary hull elements added. The primary saucer would gain space from the pod bays being moved to the secondary hull along with other things. I thing the model size is just for the model.
Irish Trekkie waxes poetic for the intro! All that was missing is some awesome Celtic-rock music to go with it. I think it looks great, is a great design and works as a progression towards the TOS era Ent ship.
I was never very fond of the original NX design but somehow the NX refit is in my top ten favorite starship designs. A StarMade player, who goes by the username GaeasSon, made a gorgeous replica of the NX refit and it pretty much the only ship I use in StarMade. Every once in a while I also use a Nova class replice made by the same user.
+KlingonCaptain there is something very special about the refit. It is not to everyone's liking but again that's the nature of design. I'm not too familiar with starmade but it is cool that people are making replicas of or favourite ships
I guess like one other commenter, I've been locked away for a little to long. I just came across this review recently and I like your enthusiasm. It's a good review of the product and you did a great job of filming it. My thoughts: This ship is pretty good looking I have to admit, but I'm really torn! On the one hand I can agree with some of the commenters in their criticism of the design. Despite the nice cover story provided in the magazine, it almost feels like the designer made this version to justify the looks of the NX-01. Don't get me wrong I DID LIKE the NX-01. Thinking outside the box and providing something that would later become the Enterprise of old while still trying to be unique was no small feat; and I, for one, appreciate the originality and found it refreshing yet appropriate for a prequel. If THIS ship was indeed meant to be a successor for the series as the magazine says, then it represents a logical step in the development and makes for a great story. However, in some aspects it does look as though some parts from the TOS version were thrown onto the NX-01 for simplicity and ease of understanding. A convenient but almost lazy feeling. Despite all that, I DO like the looks of this ship and the notes in the magazine give it the credibility that makes it convincing enough for me to accept it as the next step in evolution. It would have been great to see this on screen giving a us glimpse of the progression that was needed for Earth ships to cement their place in the budding federation and to fight the Romulan threat. Oh what might have been!!
I wish this had been on the show! To me, it is a perfect transition from the NX-01 to the Constitution Class. I like all of the homages that were put in the design. The outer coverings for the nacelles, the classic pennants, even the spikes through the bussard collectors; it just makes me happy with how much effort went into the design. I appreciate that they went for the pilot version of the Constitution class instead of the series version to transition to. In my opinion, the NX-Refit pulls the timeline together better than the regular NX-01.But enough about the design. I think that Eaglemoss has brought the fantastic ship to life! All of the detail is glorious on this model! I knew it would be great based on the first issue of the NX-01. (I only saw Irish Trekkie's copy. I had made a model kit of the NX-01 and didn't want a repeat, so I never bought one from Eaglemoss.)As I am writing this, my copy of this model is on the way. I had to have it, and couldn't wait for Irish Trekkie to review his before I ordered one for myself. That's how much faith I had in this model!Thank you Damien for putting out reviews of this collection! You are so thorough in your reviews and you are not afraid to be critical. Keep it up!
you being irish, you actually sound like someone from starfleet. it could be, from me growing up, playing armada 2 with that one random irish captain who commands the Alleghany i think. but its nice. really. fits in well. which might be weird, but, yeah. irish accent very much fits trek talk. ...at least youre not borg.
I've never been a fan of the original NX-01 but when I saw this for the first time it all made sense ! Not only do I love the refit, but it actually makes me like the original as well. Really happy the model is that good. I NEED IT ! To answer your question. Yes. This was necessary in my opinion. And I'm bloody glad it exists and it's canon !
I already love the original NX-01 but I agree that this is a verry nice and logical transition from the Enterprise era design to the TOS design. It also makes both series feel more connected.
I dont know if any of you guys play Star Trek Online, But if you do then how do you feel about this one being the next T6 ship?? I think they need to bring the NX back and in a special way.... This would truly be the next ship i would get if they put it in game.
I play STO and think a nice thought out pack in the c-store for the NX ships would be nice. With a bridge pack included. Where we have the bridge, corridors, engineering and so on. And it should include classic and refit version. Because although the refit does exist in the game, it's only in the lobi store. I know there's already an Enterprise Era pack, but it only has the different uniforms from T'pol, Mirror Universe and prime Universe.
This ship just seems so much sturdier than the Enterprise-A Refit, still with its skinny neck and skinny pylon holding up the nacelles. Any torpedo blast from an enemy ship, once the shield false, would easily separate the saucer or the nacelle from the bottom second fuselage. The NX01 Refit actually has a thicker neck from the back view, and the nacelle is connected to the main second fuselage are held up in a place by the extension from the saucer.
Very informative and fun review there I.T. I really like the refit and it would've been rad to see it on the t.v. screen! Oh well,at least we've got the Eaglemoss model. They did a good job on this one. Keep up the good work.👍👍
I think im going to need to track one of these down. I just ordered the Enterprise A and B as well as the Reliant XL modles. I really like the NX01 and plan to get it, but i also really like the refit. I may have to end up with both :)
Out of all your reviews, this ship for me is my favourite! I reckon the designers of Star Trek Enterprise should've designed the ship more like this, perhaps maybe with a lighter hull to make it look more NASA like just like the USS Enterprise (1701). If the TV series had more cliff hangers and adventure like Voyager or TNG for instance then people may have liked the series better I think; even by simply making the NX Enterprise like that of the refit. I am aware however that one of the designers didn't want the two-hulled approach to be evident in their model so thus this refit design didn't come about for the original. However that still could've been achieved imo by simply using the deflector bulge of the Akira class but with a deflector dish of a Constitution class. Otherwise it may not be too much of a big deal imo if the ship in the first place looked just like this. I do agree, many may think that this design ruins the 1701 design but all this would be is a combination of a modern design (I know; First Contact) and a classic starship, being brought back to fruition in an inventive way to suit a retro design in a prequel series that could potentially have been great. Besides not too many complained about Voyager.
It's definitely an interesting design. I wasn't fortunate to get one of these. But I recently ordered a 1/1000 kit from Polar Lights, and am just looking for ideas as to how I should tackle it. Thank you for uploading this video--it's given me a few ideas.
OMG I NEED THAT!!!!! It's out of stock on the official website, and I can't find it literally anywhere else on the internet. Where am I supposed to get one??? :'(
David Kaylor Ah excellent!! I'm glad you've finally got one on the way! 😃 mine is still shipping too, we may get them at the same time! XD oh and you're welcome :)
I wish they made a model that could interchange between the original design and the refit, so if you wanted to upgrade it to the refit you could, and then if you want the classic back you can revert it
OMG where did you get that from?? i want one now!!!! please link information about how to get that :) I think that would have been great if the show would of continued....they suck for cancelling it...
Only issue with ALL trek ships is placing the bridge on top as that makes it very vulnerable. In normal naval design the bridge like say on a sub is put 85 the middle of the ship for protection. I mean like in the ENT episode where archer gets brain parasites and the Xindi win, at one point the Xindi basically cut the bridge off the ship. I understand the authentic choice but the bridge should be buried in the ship and not placed out in the open on the top of the ship.
@@Custerd1 I have to agree. If you pause the video and read the magazine info it says that the neck pylon is only supposed to cover 2 of the 4 shuttle bay doors leaving the two outside doors to still function. It also says that the designers decided that there would be a secondary set of shuttle bays on the back of the saucer section. These are in place of a original design idea for engineering maintenance bays. Once again I think this is an after thought by the designer and was not originally considered but it still works.
I totally would have loved to have seen this ship created on the TV show. Enterprise was taken off the air too soon. Its too bad that Discovery is wasting their money on rebooting star trek when they could have just continued Enterprise put some more money into it and they could have had a seamless transfer towards a Netflix type of series for star trek.
It is an amazing model! Awesome review, you hit all the details and are spot on with your analysis in my opinion. Keep these reviews coming and Thank you!
cool vid! It would have been real good to see this in the tv show to show part of the evolution of the ships through the series. So far my favourite special edition in the collection.
great looking model haven't collected them since I ordered the Prometheus and never got it the money was taken but they had no record of it but my bank confirmed that the money went to them and so eagle moss told me to email them the statement so I didn't bother to get the refund or model as I didn't feel comfortable giving them a copy with my details on
I dunno. The added drive section on the NX refer just looks a bit tacked on. I mean I get what they were going for but it just doesn't look right with the way the nx originally looled. It just looks, I dunno, cluttered? So yea, prefer the og NX over the refit look.
So it has two deflectors? It would have been nice to see the enterprise being upgraded at Earth after season 4. And to see it slowly like kind of going into the way of the TOS style ships. Also in later seasons the interior technology could have been changed bit by bit to look more like the original series. That was the only thing that kind of annoyed me about the series, that it looked more like a kelvin timeline (abrams timeline) prequel series. Also the uniforms.
I definitely understand your thoughts on the interior design. I liked the looks of the NX fine but also felt is should have had a more retro feel somehow; after all it was supposed to be a prequel so it only makes sense. You wouldn't shoot a movie set in the 1950's using cars with technology from the 2000's. LCD screens just don't seem to make sense in that timeline. I did think the uniforms worked well enough though. Especially because in the Original Series, the uniforms quickly evolved into a smooth, less bulky, nylon/rayon/poly type looking material. The flight suite coveralls worn it the series look closer to materials used by astronauts today so I felt it would be a more fitting look for the prequel.
I wish that Archer would have gotten that ship before the series ended. I was also hoping that the enterpise cast would have made it to the big screen. Maybe the enterprise gets destroyed and he gets this one....just fan fiction in my head i guess. What would you like have seen
Damien, once again you've done another fantastic review...for what can only be described as a brilliant model! But it's sounds like you desperately need to change the batteries in your Fire Alarm!!!
+IrishTrekkie lol. The smoke detector was dull enough to make me think it came from my house. I went hunting for the one begging for a new battery! I had to keep re-listening at 2:30 to make sure it wasn't in my head.

Hey IrishTrekkie awesome review bit late though do u get your ships from Subscription or Newsagents there in Ireland. I would of loved to see a 5th season of Enterprise with this ship as Archer and crew. I've read a novel on Enterprise and apparently this ship is in hands of Captain Tpol and Archer is starfleet Admirial but I love this as a special and I would love to see the Nx-01 as Special too as detail on this is so awesome but nice review Irish your Scottish friend Ian 🖖🏻
+IrishTrekkie yeah it's the only way they did a season5 of Enterprise is in few novel books as they wanted to do this new refit Nx-01 in tv show but Enterprise was Cancelled after the 4th season so they did this Enterprise but in book form
I have the series and the only episode I won't watch again is the final one. would love to see this ship fly whether a miniseries, movie, or fan film. with a different opening theme
No shuttle bay? U was expecting either the classic aft shuttle bay but doesn’t look like it so was thinking ok maybe still drop pods they aren’t impossible just can’t just drop like before have be be lowered then launch
@@zafranorbian757 I noticed a couple of shuttle bay doors, but it's a tight spot! I would have expected a dedicated shuttle bay (similar to TOS Enterprise). If only the series had continued a year or two longer, we would have known for sure!
sadly this is the first im seeing about an NX-01 refit (i live under a rock) and it strikes me as weird that the ship has 2 deflectors now. also i loved the original sleek design of the NX-01. adding the bottom section seems like they skipped over would could have been a whole new design range and just forced the standard enterprise design into it. i mean it looks ok but man they really missed out on something good with the original flat design model range.
I loved this model my favorite special book has a lot good information i would loved to see it in season 5 I read about the war in the first 150 years of the feduration and would been a real enjoyable season
The refit while it definitely looks good and seems a perfect bridge from ENT to TOS - it does demonstrate the fundamental problem with the show Enterprise. It's a prequel with no real connection to the rest of the universe - both aesthetically with the ship and the events that take place after it's timeline. The last season tried to change to direction to head towards TOS - but that was after years of denying there was a problem.
This is a beautiful ship, however, I find it just a little too busy. Too many details. I actually prefer the NX-01 before the refit. I very much enjoy your reviews.
It's a shame we never got to see this ship on screen, Enterprise was cut short
Agreed
It looks like there's an NX in the Star Trek: Beyond. It probably won't be this refit but something similar. The model used in into darkness was cool to see.
Matty ...yes it cut short..it deserved a season 5
I whole heartily agree!! I would have loved to seen Coto's Romulan War come to life.
It is interesting to me that Enterprise shared a similar fate as the Original Series (cut short) and like the TOS, was not well received by the powers that be, yet fans continue to want more. Hopefully it won't take as long to get satisfaction.
I would've loved to have seen this Enterprise refit on TV battling the Romulans in the Earth/Romulan War.
I so wish they didn't cancel Enterprise. It's so good and just kept getting better. I wish it got 7 seasons. It deserved it and now that will probably never happen. :'(
This ship started the tradition of having lower decks crew members. Now that it has lower decks.
Make a great Hood ornament on the car.just kidding . looks awesome.

It has pointy bussards like the Enterprise TOS originally had in the two pilot episodes.
I love her mini secondary hull, and small connecting dorsal.

Change that battery in the smoke detector!!
Thought I was just imagining that.
I thought it was my smoke detector at first :)
Haha! I thought that was mine! I frantically ran around the house with my phone so I wouldn't miss the review and I kept hearing that bloody chirp! Un believable!
I'm a FF. That's the first and only thing I could hear.
How do people not hear it
Love the refit- Drexler did a fantastic job inching the design towards the TOS-era ships.
My one complaint about the Eaglemoss model is the complete lack of detail on the edge of the saucer. Joseph Dickson ...the xindi plot was wayyyy tooo longgg. I was a big fan of Enterprise but even i had enough of it.

We learned in the final episode that the NX-01 became a museum. Would love to see it, looking like this, as a museum in Discovery at some point.
It's a shame that eagle moss is gone belly up we lost good source of modeling. 😢
Hopefully somebody will pick the license up!

I agree. To me, it's so different in fact, that it should actually be called NX-01 A.
a tear in my eye, the 5th season should of aired

I agree with everything you said. I have both NX-01 's on my desk at work and they make my desk look good!!! please continue your good works.

My thoughts:
This ship is pretty good looking I have to admit, but I'm really torn!
Keep it up!
Finally here my friend :)
What I'm curious is why the refit still retains its original deflector _(squash)_ dish. Did they repurpose it to act as a sensor array?
I was really hoping for a fifth season of Enterprise with that refit. I'm gonna have to get this miniature now. Thank you for this review.
you being irish, you actually sound like someone from starfleet. it could be, from me growing up, playing armada 2 with that one random irish captain who commands the Alleghany i think. but its nice. really. fits in well. which might be weird, but, yeah. irish accent very much fits trek talk. ...at least youre not borg.
Excellent
15:22....Doug Drexler had this in mind when he was first designing this ship way back when.
Keep up the good work.👍👍
I wish we would have got this on TV show and I wish they would have showed us some of the Romulan War
Nice Intro. And a verry nice moddel, and I think really think this ship helps bridging the gap between the Enterprise era and the NX era.
Thanks
A rotten shame we didn't get enough of Enterprise to see this..
Zachary Thoroman
Yes, especially since Season 4 seemed to be the Season were the Show finally itselve and started to become really good.
I think im going to need to track one of these down. I just ordered the Enterprise A and B as well as the Reliant XL modles. I really like the NX01 and plan to get it, but i also really like the refit. I may have to end up with both :)
Legend has it that 7 years later, his smoke alarm is still chirping
Where did u buy these from ? I'd love to get my hands on some of the TNG, voyager and DS9 ships
Besides not too many complained about Voyager.
what a beautifully detailed piece. I'm considering getting the diamond select Enterprise but this is incredible
I just bought one off their site a couple of days ago. If you couldn't get one a month ago, I suggest trying again now :)
Daniel Moyle Thanks! Yeah, it very recently came back into stock. It's shipping to me right now! 😃
David Kaylor Ah excellent!! I'm glad you've finally got one on the way! 😃 mine is still shipping too, we may get them at the same time! XD oh and you're welcome :)
Great video, but do you think that you could change the batteries in your smoke detectors?
That chirping is driving me CRAZY!!!!
Where is this available? I checked the Eaglemoss site, but this isn't listed under their Star Trek section.
Just picked up this model. What a great ship! Very happy with this particular piece.
+Diomedes01 awesome to hear
I wish they made a model that could interchange between the original design and the refit, so if you wanted to upgrade it to the refit you could, and then if you want the classic back you can revert it
That would be verry difficult as there are a pletherea of differences in colour like on the bridge dome or the twin booms.
OMG where did you get that from?? i want one now!!!! please link information about how to get that :) I think that would have been great if the show would of continued....they suck for cancelling it...
Just got my ship yesterday. Even better in person. Cheers.
This design is beautiful. If they'd done this onscreen it would have helped the audience so much to see the connection between the shows.
I like the retrofit.... but.... with the new underbody... where is the shuttle bay? The new under body is covering the original shuttle bay.
Its on the tail end of the refit part like on a constitution class ship. They probably even could hold more shuttles.
Ben Bailey Are you sure? I was reading in the magazine he was showing that noted there wasn’t room in the engineering section for a shuttle bay.
If nothing else it is an exalent in between design from Archers ship and Kirks. It defenantly show the natural evolution of Star Fleet ship design
Star Trek fan films are getting better. Hopefully we'll see this ship on screen one day...
sure it's a natural progression. Would have been nice to se it on screen to hear what modifications they made to the structural integrity.
how fast are the impulse engines on this starship
Shouldn't the front of the saucer have been closed off, since now there was a deflector dish in the traditional spot for one?
Its consider a secondary deflector dish. Its not unlike certain 24th Century vessels and TOS Ships.
DalekEmperor101 Productions
Well...
I suppose if the saucer could separate...
I consider the original deflector as purely for navigation and the new big dish is for updated sensors. Probably for detecting cloaked Romulans.
Maxillius T
Isn't a deflector dish just that, an emitter meant to push stuff out of the way to protect the ship? Without that...
Possibly even shields assuming that they were now available by the refit stage.
Awesome ship. The NX-01 with a deflector dish. Really cool. Btw, is that your smoke detector chiming in the background?
That secondary hull reminds me of a oil pan to a Ford 351 small block!!!
the Model is amazing and Doug and Eaglemoss can be proud
It is an amazing model! Awesome review, you hit all the details and are spot on with your analysis in my opinion. Keep these reviews coming and Thank you!
Thanks Colin
cool vid! It would have been real good to see this in the tv show to show part of the evolution of the ships through the series. So far my favourite special edition in the collection.
great looking model haven't collected them since I ordered the Prometheus and never got it the money was taken but they had no record of it but my bank confirmed that the money went to them and so eagle moss told me to email them the statement so I didn't bother to get the refund or model as I didn't feel comfortable giving them a copy with my details on
WOW, where did you get that book/magazine? Can anybody else get one?
someone please explain what is the refit design! It looks awesome but i never seen it in Enterprise
Do you have the Enterprise D captains yacht?
I adore this so very much. It would have been so wonderful to have this refit after the two-part at the top of season 4.
Her new registry was NX-01- 1/2 ( and a half)
I wish that Archer would have gotten that ship before the series ended. I was also hoping that the enterpise cast would have made it to the big screen. Maybe the enterprise gets destroyed and he gets this one....just fan fiction in my head i guess. What would you like have seen
+Technoboylive I would've loved to have seen them dive head first with the ship into the Romulan war
Damien, once again you've done another fantastic review...for what can only be described as a brilliant model!
But it's sounds like you desperately need to change the batteries in your Fire Alarm!!!
Thanks and yes the alarm is sorted haha
Lol that's good to hear Damien. I hope you didn't mind me saying, and pointing it out!
I'm really looking forward to your next review!!! :)

Interesting info Ian 🖖🏻🤘🏻
+IrishTrekkie yeah it's the only way they did a season5 of Enterprise is in few novel books as they wanted to do this new refit Nx-01 in tv show but Enterprise was Cancelled after the 4th season so they did this Enterprise but in book form
Beautiful ship. Excellent detail. Nice job explaining detail.
So where did they put the docking area for the shuttle craft?
+Bernard Gilbert I do not know, well spotted
They put a lot of effort into this one and produced the best ship in the collection.
It is great
I have the series and the only episode I won't watch again is the final one. would love to see this ship fly whether a miniseries, movie, or fan film. with a different opening theme
Also, has anyone had troubles with the stand? Mine is really touchy and the ship falls a lot
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS SHIP,WOULD HAVE LOVED TO HAVE SEEN SOME STORIES DONE WITH IT.
Looks like a mix of TOS Enterprise and the Kelvin Timeline NCC-1701-A Enterprise.
Still the best Eagelmoss moddel I have.
Where are you able to order this model from?
No shuttle bay? U was expecting either the classic aft shuttle bay but doesn’t look like it so was thinking ok maybe still drop pods they aren’t impossible just can’t just drop like before have be be lowered then launch
I'm very impressed. it's an awesome progression to the original.
+Joseph Pridestar81 Benn 😃
Probably one of my top favorite star ships ever.
I heard this guy is actually from Brooklyn NY
I love the refit design, but where is the shuttle bay?
still in the old spot, but I guess only 2 of the doors can be used.
THAT NEEDED TO BE THE DISCOVERY!
I loved this model my favorite special book has a lot good information i would loved to see it in season 5 I read about the war in the first 150 years of the feduration and would been a real enjoyable season
🖖🏻
The refit while it definitely looks good and seems a perfect bridge from ENT to TOS - it does demonstrate the fundamental problem with the show Enterprise. It's a prequel with no real connection to the rest of the universe - both aesthetically with the ship and the events that take place after it's timeline. The last season tried to change to direction to head towards TOS - but that was after years of denying there was a problem.
I think this would have worked better as a different class starship, as opposed to a refit.
Did the NCC DEFIANT get a refit ???
no
This is a beautiful ship, however, I find it just a little too busy. Too many details. I actually prefer the NX-01 before the refit. I very much enjoy your reviews.
I never cared for the original ship because it was just an upside-down Akira class but this version looks a lot better.
Beautiful design, wish we had seen it on the show...
