The eye irritation from chemical sunscreens is real. I’ve had a day ruined because I was a little overzealous in applying my sunscreen and ended up with itchy, irritated eyes. I’m definitely going to check this brand out. Thank you for the review!

On me it's like all types not only organic ones
It's a formulation thing since some irritate more than others and some organic sunscreens don't irritate my skin until hours later when i get sweaty and some sweat ends up on my eyelashes

I changed from Isdin FusionWater to Isntree Watery Sun Gel since my eyes started to burn with the Isdin and it’s been amazing. No burn, no greasy feeling, no heavy feeling. This will be my definite sunscreen from now on, and I’m so happy you approved it, Dr. Dray! 💌

Ok so I ordered the Watery Sun Gel and have used it for a few days now. You are absolutely correct - ZERO burning of the eyes throughout the day- the very first chemical sunscreen I’ve used to not burn. The downside is that it actually does leave a bit of a shiny film on the skin…a little too “dewy” for my liking. I might continue to use this just around my eyes and stick with Cetaphil Daily Facial Mositurizer spf 35 on the rest of the face. It soaks in nicely.

So glad to hear an “American” mention American sunscreen mostly likely will sting the eye but an authentic Korean one most likely does not! I say authentic as in the ones directly imported to USA like at Sephora , just about all of those sting the eyes since a lot of Korean stuff marketed to the USA aren’t the same Korean formula /ingredients!

I recently started using Korean/Japanese skin care products after hearing so much great things about it and I’m not going back. I really like the texture of the Watery Sun Gel, probably the best I've ever tried, but it does burn my eyes. One good thing, however, is that it does not "move" to my eyes if I don't put it directly around the eye area, unlike some other ones that not only burn my eyes but also find their way into my eyes even when applied far away initially.

I clicked so fast bcz I adore Isntree! My ultimate favorite Hyaluronic acid is their Hyaluronic Acid Toner Plus! I even gave a friend some and they had me order full size bottles for them! They saw the difference immediately. I am happy watching this video. I have a YesStyle cart loaded and already waiting for me… now more to add! I’m in trouble.

The isnt tree hyaluronic sun gel, I experience stinging in the eyes when I sweat, but that was the first 2 days, now I don’t really get that anymore ? Idk why, but definitely love the finish look and feel, it’s the definition of glowy but not greasy, unlike my previous sunscreen, it look so greasy and yet the skin around my nose feels cracky xD love this one so much, gonna try out their sunstick too.

I am using Isntree for quite a while now - before and after they changed products designs (I personally prefer the former designs, like in your video).
I usually prefer chemical SPFs (like the Isntree Hyaluronic Watery or SVR Ultra-Mat Gel or La Roche Posay Anthelios Oil Control Fluid) or mixed ones (huge fan of Isispharma Dry Touch - IT IS GOLD).
I recently tried the Isntree Mineral SPF, for a change, instead of the Watery Gel.
I LOOOOVE IT. I think I team up well with the matifying stuff, despite not having an excessively oily skin.
Great vid. Also be careful that people say the Asian SPFs are not enough during harsh sunlight.

Dr. Dray, I hope you get to review the Isntree 2% BHA liquid. Some reviews say it’s gentler than Paula’s Choice. It might be a good alternative especially for those who do not want the AHA in the Peach Slices toner. If you could also comment if PH level matters for salicylic acid products (as Paula claims), would be great! 😊

Wow. There is so many face creams and eye creams. Sunscreen. It is really overwhelming at times. USA doesn't make much of anything. Certain creams make my eyes burn too lately. I definitely need alot of moisture on my face and body. I agree about a stick.

With any HA product the key is to check for occlusive ingredients (shea butter, petrolatum, dimethicone, beeswax) that can help seal the HA in.

The sun gel and the moisturizing gel really irritated my skin. I use tretonoin so not sure if that’s why. But I’ve never seen my skin so flaky and dry and the only thing that changed was the new products so I stopped using it. Maybe I’m sensitive to HA.

  • @joharibacolod3218

Yeah, here in Philippines really is so humid. Only one chemical sunscreen that we can seek on is Belo Spf40 Sunscreen. I mean, there's a lot sunscreen out there but they are not gauranteed, so there is no something that we can hold on. If there's any that is gauranteed or some thing that is trustful brands, it is not accessible 😭
