My thoughts:
1. Size
- Like traditional Chuck Taylor's these shoes run a 1/2 size large.
- I am a true 11 and purchased an 11. Ideally I should've purchased them in a 10 1/2
- the sale was size specific
2. Comfort
- the shoes are 100% more cushy than the traditional Chuck Taylors. The ride is forgiving and soft from a combo of the sole materials in the liner.
3. Looks
- A traditional Chuck Taylor look, but with some twists.
- I don't love the 2 tone color (white tongue/Khaki upper).
- I don't mind the translucent rubber, but I don't love that it's blue tinted.
- These are one of the tamer color combo's in the CX line.
4. Price
- I tend to want to land around $30 for traditional Chuck Taylors and I'd pay a little more for the new technology ($35-$45).
- Retail of $75 prices me out of these shoes.
5. Overall
- I love the comfort
- I am concerned about the longevity and durability of the shoe
- I don't love the offered color schemes
- I don't love the retail price

I honestly hardly wear them...so they're near pristine. The soft soles seem like it would wear fast and the light color seems like it would get dirty fast with regular wear
