- So what do you look for in the perfect summer sneaker? For me, it’s something lighter in colour, something versatile and stylish and something that’s timeless so I can wear it next summer and the one after that too!
If you have been subscribed to the channel for a while now then you’ll know that Converse Chuck Taylor 70’s are my favourite sneakers out there at the moment, And they have been for a while now. I just don’t feel there is a better sneaker that suits my current style as well and they work so well with everything. Anyway, I have them in black and I have the parchment pair.
I’m always making excuses to get more pairs of converse, so with summer on the way, I decided to pick up a fresh pair.
So let me introduce you to the Converse Chuck Taylor 70 High Tops in the Natural colour way.I’m going to talk about why they are, in my opinion, the best converse sneakers for summer, Actually, scrap that, why they are the best sneakers out there foe the summer full stop! I’ll also talk about sizing, price and where to get them from in this video, and any other questions you may have, just ask me in the comments.

I fell in love with these when I first saw them but after a week I already felt they were a bit boring, so I bought the parchment instead and they are absolutely fantastic, basically the same as the natural colour way but with the classic stripes on the sole.
The parchment pair are great too
Had to use the Converse Custom tool to make this all natural colour way a couple of years ago and now you can get them off the shelf. God bless the introduction of the Chuck 70.

I just bought a low top pair of Chuck 70s in Wheat color and the quality difference with the 70s is huge. I bought my pair at a Converse outlet for $24!🤯 And I had to half size down from 10 to 9.5.
Comparing the regular Chuck Taylor's size 10 and size 9.5 in the 70s- sole to sole- they are the same length.
They go with everything.

@@armando9293 I'm from the U.S in Pennsylvania. There is a Converse outlet in the Poconos, Tannersville PA to be exact, called 'The Crossings Premium Outlets'. That's where I went.
I love these! My kids step on my feet though , so I can’t get white 😂 I usually get the black and white. I feel like Converse is the best because to me it just goes with everything pretty much. Great review Harry! Converse are not for me but I like the style and colours. I definitely prefer the "parchment." The problem with anything that bright white is if it gets stained and all the little imperfections are noticeable.

Also, to anyone, I myself have had for some years now, a pull to have, 6 pairs by now?, an attachment to Onitsuga Tigers, palatable colors for me/must work with everything. Fun- I was in my middle of nowhere town's Piggly Wiggly, I spotted a gent at the end of the aisle wearing his O.T.s and just, a bliss moment for me! P.S. I am moving soon ha. Oh, also, one time, I was impatient to get to my front door, stepped lightly through new blacktop coating, I got a cloth, cut up an old cotton tee, & wetted, added Bon Ami, rubbed it in to make a small area of paste, wrapped around my index finger and it took the blacktop Off of my Lt Blue suede/white leather like a dream. So not noticable, the Tiniest whitening of the suede.

My personal favorite as a converse employee are the Feng Chen Wang collaboration "2 in 1" chuck 70s. Its a very unique shoe and very slept on

First off congrats on 100k I really enjoy your videos especially the Converse ones. I have like 20 chuck 70’s myself mostly high tops and a few ox (low tops). I’m a huge Converse geek. I have even worked in a Converse store for 3 years. It’s a shoe that’s timeless. I even have pictures of my grandfather rocking a pair. But this neutral colour is one I might add to the collection one day. Nice video bro! 👌

I've just ordered a pair of the chuck 70s now after my new pair of all star's sole splatted and had to send them back. Eager to see the difference in quality and construction as people claim. Personally love the parchment colour with the red inlays. So I went for that.
I bought 3 weeks ago my first pair of high Chuck Taylors Vintage in black because of you, but what I didn't know is that I also need this pair in off-white color haha they look DOPE!

I'm a size 43. I picked up a pair of Chuck 70 at size 44.5 (it says 10½ on the outsole) and they fit perfectly!
Got the cream n preme ones since I couldn't find this color way for around a week and a half and just saw this video. Either way satisfied because off white converse is definitely the move this summer

My favourite ones are the double foxing high tops. The sole is a bit chunkier and they don't have the black stripe.
They are more expensive, but totally worth the investment.
I'm currently waiting for the Stussy collab to drop to get another black pair.

I totally agree with you, the blue and red lines in the parchment version is less cleaner than the natural version. In fact, it was my thoughts when I watched your previous videos with the High and the Low version of the parchment. I was thinking to myself that it would be so cool if the all cream version could exist, with no other color at all. I’m glad you show me that I was right, even if I’m way too late from the releasing.

Enjoying your content! Converse don’t have enough support for my feet so I can’t wear them. Been loving New balance tho, used to never think I’d wear them them until I got the 550’s when they first dropped with ALD and now I own 3 different pairs of NB.

You remember or not that I did ask to you go true to size or half size down. You gave advice half size down but I went true to size US10 while half size down sold out, so I bought it. Yes, it's quite big and long toe box. I regart it. By the way, I bought white color with off-white mide sole which is very nice. Happy for you 100k subscribers 👍.

My first Converse All Star high-top was really fit me well. But second time, I made the wrong choice. Converse slip on is not comfortable to wear and my toes hurt when I wear it for too long even though it's true size.
I like both parchment and natural colours, I am going to buy either next time.
I love boots but I do have to admit that white canvas sneakers are the best shoes for the summer.

Hey man, if you love boots and are looking for a summer option check out M-43 boots. It’s a timeless style that many brands make versions of. It’s a ww2 military boot that’s unstructured and has a corded sole so it feels very very comfortable and lightweight. John Lofgren makes the best ones imo but they’re expensive
I think we don't have the natural colorway here in my country, is it only available in the US?
I am from India and here its to hard to get Converse shoe I mean genuine Converse cuz most of the online store claim that they are selling genuine but most of the time it's just fake and there it's almost impossible to find offline store of Converse in my area.
Thats why I am not able to get all types of Converse.
But I love them so much I am wearing Converse Chuck 70s Balck.

The 70s in the parchment/egret colourway is my go to converse. I used to wear them everyday as an intern and they even look good with dress trousers… even better dirty LOL
BUT, I do not wear converse anymore since the sizing is horrible. Waaaaayyyyyy too narrow and long like a damn baguette 🥖 . You’ll need to go true to your regular sneaker size or half a size up if you have wide feet. If you size down I guarantee they’ll be too tight. Shoes do not stretch to fit, that’s a myth.
Most people wear the wrong size shoes and don’t even know it. The best way to see if it really fits well is take out the insole and see if your foot fits over it without spilling over. Remember there’s nothing wrong with a little extra length as long as the width is right fit your feet

This is incorrect from my experience as I talked about in the video. My TTS and half a size down had the exact same width. The only difference was the length. They do give and fit better after wear. Not sure what this guys experience was but I’ve had several pairs now and all the same experience

Hi, I need an advice. The problem is my feet are wide and I have a very high arch. I bought a pair anyway, tried them with and without special insoles and after six months, I just have to wave bye bye to them. I love the black and white combo and the shape it provides for the rest of the outfit. Any alternatives?
Only problem with those Chucks is they have no real support in the footbed. Spending any time in them makes me look cool but my feet hurt if I walk too much.

I normally wear size 8.5 uk in normal converse all star low, the size 8 are too tight for me and make it uncomfortable what size should I get for the chuck 70? Thanks.
I'm from Italy and I got a pair of these, that are a "egret" color so it's not bright white and it's almost cream. I love them but I'm not sure that they fit with a normal (brighter) white. What do you guys think?

I've tried Regular Chucks UK8 and it's great fit so in case of Chuck 70 do I need to go half size down UK7.5 or can I go with UK8?

Can only get these colours in all star . I was looking for white leather . Seen some . Then watched your video. I'm looking online and can't see 70s . I never worn converse but have some bugs bunny pairs new in box . I wanted white as goes with anything . My yellow polo shirts or black t-shirts etc . I have Leary colours. Nike air max 90s I owned loads of pairs but they fall apart and air forces are to big . I seen white leather converse £70 that's Pricy t as got brown leather £40 I never collected .
