I got here because Im planning to switch my car but didn’t know which one to go with. Although it would be a 2016/2017 Jeep srt or x6m . I’m just doing my research on reliability and such cus I’m not planning to buy a car that would sit at the service once a month . All feed back are appreciated 🙏. I just love the look on both of them and steady drove the srt but didn’t drive the BMW yet . So that’s gonna be a huge decision maker too
Just got a trackhawk! Honestly never a dull moment, it’s always fun! For maintenance, BMW is gonna be way pricier but both should be great on build quality
The price is real daunting, but i would recommend bmw if price isn’t an issue. I’ve worked at Chrysler and bmw dealerships and can’t tell you how many times I did “calibration” drives on the m suvs when they were getting maintenance.

Stock for stock they both run low 12s. I’ve seen a Bmw with a tune and e85 and down pipes go into the 10s so any of you that think it’s an easy kill with a modded track hawk your nuts. I’ve seen many of these 900whp track hawks struggle to break 10s in the summer. And these track hawks really don’t want to screw with one of the new X3m competition that’s modded. It’s over 1000 lbs lighter and seen those breaking 130 mph in the quarter on minimal mods.

Obviously the Jeep driver has no idea what he is doing, he should have walked away, and didn't...ok, just for S&G's, I looked up both vehicles, completely stock. Jeep, no traction control ran average of 11.6 and 117 mph in 1/4 mile.....X6M, 12.4 in the 1/4 mile. So, obviously the jeep driver in this has his head where the sun doesn't shine

Although the Trackhawk is an automatic, the driver is more than likely using the electronic manual shift mode/paddle you can tell Trackhawk driver literally downshifted during a few pulls instead of up shifting. Also, the BMW was calling/ blowing the starts and timing /taking off prematurely. Then the Trackhawk beats the stock M6 and even the stock Nissan GTR from a dig 1/4 mile among many others (look up specs and other YT videos) and also beats the BMW X6M top end.

The difference between then on handling is eath to sky...
