@@OkiSubies yeah the sti had the wide body in 2008 to 2010 but only in hatch. Then in 2011 wrx and sti both went wide body. And you could get sti in gv or gr chassis. Yeah I watched the smeedia videos were he did the green speed thing on that 2013 wrx hatch. He made really good power.
JDM GRF also has quick rack factory standard, GRF is single scroll vs GRB twin scroll, GRF has cruise control standard (never seen a GRB here in the UK with cruise control), GRF type S special edition cars have nicer seats and a few bolt on options.....also, that 5AT will do donuts in the snow.... greeting from the UK!

Good comparison, I’ve looked at them Alines before but was nervous that the auto box couldn’t handle the power and also how long do these boxes last….whats ur experience with these auto boxes, have u seen any let go or are they reliable, thanks
Thanks for watching! Looking at the oem map the boost levels were really low. We put a blouche 18G turbo on this one and we will see how it handles but so far so good. This one is our first one doing power mods to so it is hard to say how reliable it will be but I think it will be fine at this level. I would be a little worried trying to push some big power though lol
Haha I hear you! The EJ207, especially version 10 has amazing potential but the EJ257 builds are still nice for a lot of the style driving we have out here like Gymkhana and Touge.
They are good for women drivers, i am an impreza OG here in the UK and run a jdm grf for the wife, they are great daily drives (wouldnt trust here in my grb. The grf is typically half the price of a grb now in japan.

i got a open source e85 tune on my stock ecu and my tuner was able to add auto rev match when i down shift my 6mt, awesome vid just subbed!

It’s actually pretty crazy to think that most of the newer models are STI auto like the Levorg and S4. Give us back the 6 speed Subaru!!!
