Great stuff as always, Dane! It was pretty obvious that KUO was injured in Bogota - she struggled with 130 (when her usual C&J is around 140 in competition) so I wonder how serious her knee is, and whether she will compete again? She's pushing 30 now and 10+ years of high level comp definitely takes a toll! Personally I hope she does compete in Paris but only if she's at 100%!
I have a poster of Kuo on my wall above my desk in my room from her 137kg WR C&J (former) - it's the first thing I see when I wake up because I need to one day be able to C&J that 😵
All coaches instruct to raise their hips, back, chest and shoulders at the same rate, but just right directly off the floor the hips a little quicker than the chest feels more like a conventional deadlift and allows to clear the knees like you said. Then catching up later with the chest drives those knees back forward like you instructed but I think also create a strong 2nd pull without over extending
Awesome video and great detailed explanation!!🤩 if you dont mind me asking, What app do u use to play and draw on videos as you do here? Thanks in advance 🙏
