- I've been curious about this variant of the Showcase and now I've got my hands on it. This one has a much thicker vinyl on it and is UV resistant. Blowing it up is the exact same process as the regular showcase. I'm going to try it out for a while and see how I feel about it after some longer term usage.

Attach magnets to the roof and halfway on the door. So you when open the door, you only have to find the magnet on the door and attach it to the roof magnet.

Thanks for this informative video. This outdoor capsule will save me big $ in the future. Paying nearly $2k a year to rent a garage for a custom hot rod. Just need to pour an extension slab in the backyard for an extra garage space.
That’s pretty cool! I think if the columns where dark brown instead of grey it would blend in with your wash bay. Maybe in the future they could offer more color options like you suggested.

I dig the idea. My problem is my current fleet is much like your Raptor - far too tall to get in the doorway. My F150 that is the same generation as your Raptor would be super close, still might not make it though.

How do these carcapsules hold up in the wind? I assume they can be pegged down somehow
I wonder if they will make a showcase for trucks and boats... would need to have a 7’ or 8’ opening, but would be a nice option I think.

It's 2023. Are you still using the car capsule showcase? Any pro's or cons since this video? I have a 2022 CT5V-Blackwing and "no" garage ! I have 5 cars and three could use a good garage. One of my cars is over 18' long 1967 Cadillac convertible. During the NY winters I do store them in a climate controlled garage, but its 75 miles away from my home. I have a concrete 12 x 20 foot pad next to my house with a roll out awning that I currently use to wash and detail, out of the summer sun. I can't leave the awning out in windy weather or heavy rain. I've had a few close call disasters. If I take the 22" Caddy out , is it easy to pull the whole inflated unit into my backyard grass, so I can use the wash rack and then pull it back after I'm finished. Is the floor material thick enough to be scuffed along cement? Your video was more informative than the actual company videos. Thanks for any info.
I think you should try some different kinds velcro tape or magnets- like neodymium and magnetic tapes- and try sticking or attaching them to the flaps so that they can get held just enough while driving in or out. Some care and precautions should be taken to minimize or eliminate risk of magnets sticking to the car, but I think it could work.

I like the indoor one. Even if it is not UV protected. You could almost buy two indoor ones for the price of an outdoor.
If the Grey on this capsel was a darker tan it would blend perfect with the woodsie background, imo looks alot better than the clear one

I like the new just because of the roof, self cleaning for debris. The price isn't too bad for a one car garage.

Damn what a great idea. Would seriously consider one but I’m very worried about the rodents chewing through. We have big problem here in mass with mice which have already destroyed a few zodiac inflatable boats , that were IN my garage.

Do you have to leave the pump on to keep it up or to keep it floated
There is a float that opens when the pressure drops that make the air pump turn on until it pressurizes. It usually only does that once ever few days.
I lost it when you did the little jump kicks at 12:00 to test the tubes.

The fan is sufficient. I had one for about 4 years outside in the FL heat. You just need to replace the fan every year or so due to the humidity. I didn't have any rodent issue after getting one.
Instead of pulling up the cover/entrance, they should have it fold to the side and have a Velcro or top corner stick to something. Like a door.

honestly for something this big you might as well just build a garage. Much more durable, no worries about the power going out, and won't blow away in the wind.

Why not spend $5k on lumber and frame up a garage on that slab, or else frame walls on the structure next to it.

Well for one it’s not for him for two it’s obviously meant for people that can’t build a permanent structure or for a multitude of other reasons I can’t believe a 11 people Thumbed that up
you forgot to talk about moisture control in these capsules! In my youtube videos of the car capsules I discuss how important it is to put a moisture control inside the bubble as the car capsule will rust a car really fast! This is not something that you want to look over it is so important if you plan on keeping your car inside one of these for over 3 months! BE Sure to check out my video on this if you haven't already Matt!
I don’t think you could build anything that this provides for 4.5K. Especially the part where it could be knocked down when not needed or moved. Nothing says it has to be on a slab.

Straps should have been put through a fabric loop on top and then velcro back on to themselves. Instead of a buckle. That would take 2 seconds to strap the doors.

Tip for anyone with a car capsule. Be sure to lotion your leather regularly because the constant airflow can dry it out.
