Hey Tyler, watching from around the 11:39 mark, after you’ve just left your bike on its stand, notice how in the next cut the mirror is in a different place? Your bike stand and objects putting a lot of weight on one or two small points needs support under it, otherwise you’ll come back at some point and half that stand’s in the dirt and if your bike isn’t tipped over it’ll be on the most awkward angle imaginable; just be wary please fam
Dont you need some sort of protection on the floor? Like wooden planks or similar? Also, what happens during strong wind? You would probably need to secure this with strong concrete blocks inside, and use rope for the roof. Also, what happens if there is snow?
I actually hadn't thought about hail, but I actually think smaller hail, smaller projectiles at high speeds would be more likely to go through. I also wonder how it'd fair during a lot of rain. Tents notoriously often will collect rain in spots that can make them collapse, if you don't like poke them with a broom stick or something to get rid of it. I wonder if something similar could happen to this.
id be interested to see how it holds up against UV. i had one of the ones with metal poles and plastic cover here in australia and it only lasted one winter, the cover basically disintegrated and when it got windy it just tore to shreds. our UV index is quite a lot higher here so things dont usually last very long in the sun, especially during summer
You should add a plywood floor inside. Also buy some water proof tent spray and spray it down every once in a while. Also, keep the weed eater far away from it. Lol
Randomly put it exactly where it rolled out lol. The placement was driving me crazy. Its gonna be a pain cuttinng the grass around that and when you take it down you're going to have an awkward rectangle of dead grass
Besides the cost I think this would be good for renters who can't just build a solid garage. I'm not sure it would last long term but it's a good option for some situations, plus can travel for anywhere you need a portable large enclosed tent which is probably it's biggest benefit.
what this would be good for: a temporary, sturdy structure that won't be left neglected for longer than a couple days at a time, very quick to set up, no teardown mess to clean up when you're done with it, no building permits needed for it, and as a bonus you can pack it up and move it for reuse relatively easy vs. a harder structure. some examples: you're building your own house/cabin out on some land and need something to shelter your on-site equipment while you do, emergency management type of situations, or perhaps multi day/week camp or festival type scenarios. something where you get a lot of high value use out of it in a short period of time. what this *woudln't* be good for: semi-permanent storage facility, or in a location that would be left unattended for long periods of time, or in an area that experiences extreme weather/temperatures/UV exposure, or in any application where you could reasonably build a harder structure for the same or less amount of money. unless, like tyler, it just brings you joy and you have the scratch to throw at it
For the price you can find dozens of better options with less worry behind them of the dozens of things that will happen over some shorter time with this thing. UV is definitely gonna take a toll on it along with animals and obviously if a real sized branch hits it repair time. It's cool I'm not doubting that but for a storage place for long term like you're planning on you could've found a way better option around the same price.
@ddoukopou He is using it as a permit structure for storing all these item's in. So use UV and other thing's will 100% be an issue that many other options you don't need a permit for especially the size he has would be better. I live on a private lake and they require permission for everything but I had no issue's getting a storage roughly the same size way cheaper that will handle weather UV and so on better then that inflatable option.
The engineering is pretty good I will give it that. Much cheaper then having a separate garage built that is going to cost way more then 4k. That said, 4k for a blowup garage is kinda steep, you are really paying for the conveniance of the whole thing when imo the blowup stuff is suppose to be the cheap option, the pricing on this however cost more then just buying the materials yourself to make some kind of rudimentary shed and call it good, don't need to spend too much on it. Can even get even more frugal and make some kinda lean-to with a tarp and just park stuff in the grass, cover it up with the tarp and its done.
With wood sheathing floor, you can buy all the materials for a 10x20 shed with siding, shingles, and 8' wide barn style door for ~4k. If you don't need it to be portable obviously. Add another 2k for labor if you can't do it yourself, and that will last a lot longer than an inflatable. However, if you just want to keep sun/rain/snow off, a 20x20 steel car port is $2500.
@@andrewt9204 You are talking about doing it in a more proper fashion so thats a good mention. I was going along more of 4k is too high but you want something in between just wrapping a tarp over everything and parking it in the grass and a structure on the cheap. to add on a 20x20 is about the size of 2 car width, a standard 1 door garage is 12x20 so i would instead just opt for a 20x35 metal carport for ~5k if we are going to go ahead and spend the 4k on a pre-built thing might as well go a little extra and get something bigger
Western Pennsylvania here. I just purchased a beautiful Amish shed for 3k. It is 12x24 with six windows. Metal roof. On skids. This is a neat video about a unique product, but I will go with my shed any time. Thanks.
The only concern I would have is water pooling onto the roof and forming a pool eventually causing it to collapse. I have seen several awnings , boat covers and sun tents collapse under the weight of water that eventually finds a place to pool.
Looks good now but can't imagine it lasting more than a few years tops. The summer heat beating down and breaking down the canvas material. Then if you're in the north and get a foot of heavy wet snow, it'l tear a hole right in the middle. Show me a picture of it in 10 years or even 5 and see how it's holding up.
Inflatable covers are amazing for hail protection, as long as the top doesn't tear all the hail will bounce off instead of getting dented up like solid structures do
I'm curious if this can withstand rodent and raccoon teeth and claws. They will look for a warm place to nest this winter and this seems like it will be very easy for them to get into and chew holes in the inflatable parts.
@@mitchybooooy ya'll over here thinking about a needle and stabbing it while im looking at the door thats a zipper and velcro and all you need to do is put it between one of the locking mechanism and boom it's open, then just push the velcro off.

i love this i was looking into buying one to use as a paint cabin for my car, but in my country is actually cheaper to make a shed than to buy this... u build 8 sheds actually lol
Where we had our house built, our backyard is small in depth and we have power lines close to it, so we can not build a shed so this is awesome. I am definitely going to check them out thank you sir.
You don't need more storage, it seems more that you need a garage/tag sale! Think of the $$$ you could make to buy more stuff to test and entertain us all. A perpetual loop of buying and selling. Keep the stuff that gives you joy, let go of the rest
I think you should have laid something on top of that rubber floor, like a jute rug or cheap rug. That rubber floor probably won’t hold up to moving vehicles in and out especially when the tires are hot.
sun exposure will make the plastic brittle in 2-3 years and it will leak and tear. We tried a few tent like storage systems for bikes and such and they all started breaking after 3 years max. The heat, cold and sun exposure just destroys them over time. But as an interims storage this is a great solution until you build a solid shed..
This is cool as it can be !! Are there anchoring straps and spikes? If not maybe cement anchors in the ground and use ratchet straps ground to ground over the top!
How about spreading hay to level out the ground first? Then maybe loose-fit a roll of vinyl flooring inside to protect the floor? Plywood flooring would have to go underneath and extend beyond the perimeter of the garage to avoid having the plywood edges cut into the flooring, and PT ply is expensive. How do you prevent uplift from wind? Snow-load rating?
I would like to see a follow up video to display Wear and tear, and the comparison of inside temperature to surrounding outside temperature per season etc? 👍👏
Inflatables can be much more durable and repairable than we typically give them credit for. That is highly dependent on how they are made. Inflatable boats takes lots of abuse and shrug it off. NASA has looked into inflatable space and moon/mars inflatable habitats and they are still in the running. I would expect this garage to do well with hail as its flexibility is a benefit, along with smaller strikes. A large enough tree branch is going to make a mess of whatever structure. The wind would be my biggest concern, even blowing it around and away if there were not heavy enough stuff in it.
I’d recommend putting a piece of wood underneath the kickstand of the bike. That’s a lot of weight leaning on one little spot on the fairly thin floor. I would t be surprised if it punched through if the ground softens to much

It's also perfect for BBQ's and if you're having a party with some friends or whatever it can be used for whatever you want so it's money well spent but still expansive plus it does seem to be very durable it can handle a beating.
Lmao the first sign of ice this thing will get torn to shreds.
Also, what happens if there is snow?
it has 2 hook each side strap it down
I actually hadn't thought about hail, but I actually think smaller hail, smaller projectiles at high speeds would be more likely to go through.
The inflatable bits will stretch. That's why you need an interior port, to top off the inflation.
Besides the cost I think this would be good for renters who can't just build a solid garage. I'm not sure it would last long term but it's a good option for some situations, plus can travel for anywhere you need a portable large enclosed tent which is probably it's biggest benefit.
might be good like he mentioned, for hail storm protection
what this would be good for: a temporary, sturdy structure that won't be left neglected for longer than a couple days at a time, very quick to set up, no teardown mess to clean up when you're done with it, no building permits needed for it, and as a bonus you can pack it up and move it for reuse relatively easy vs. a harder structure. some examples: you're building your own house/cabin out on some land and need something to shelter your on-site equipment while you do, emergency management type of situations, or perhaps multi day/week camp or festival type scenarios. something where you get a lot of high value use out of it in a short period of time.
what this *woudln't* be good for: semi-permanent storage facility, or in a location that would be left unattended for long periods of time, or in an area that experiences extreme weather/temperatures/UV exposure, or in any application where you could reasonably build a harder structure for the same or less amount of money. unless, like tyler, it just brings you joy and you have the scratch to throw at it
Really interesting Garage Tyler. I'm quite surprised how sturdy it is.
Don't know about keeping my cars in one the winters in my area are long and rough but for camping this thing is👌
For the price you can find dozens of better options with less worry behind them of the dozens of things that will happen over some shorter time with this thing. UV is definitely gonna take a toll on it along with animals and obviously if a real sized branch hits it repair time. It's cool I'm not doubting that but for a storage place for long term like you're planning on you could've found a way better option around the same price.
Agreed. It's concerning how many people think this is a good long term solution.
No need to file for a permit or worry about setbacks because it's not a permanent structure.
This is perfect for a car detailer. I needed this today
With the price tag they have on it, better come with a great warranty.
And a hand job

2023 - 2023
you didn't deserve to die like that and you'll be missed by all of us. 😔😔😔
even tied down i feel that thing is going to cause collateral damage in bad weather
Especially with the ‘toys’ inside, though they might add enough weight.
You know what would be great with this? One of those tile floors that you can assemble and take apart.
If you gonna keep it up. Can you give an update in winter how durable its been?
The USA military medical corps had this type of thing in a country I worked in 1993. They had duck boards through out. It was massive.
It's very on-brand for Tyler to buy a blow-up garage and not just buy a pre-built shed.
First thunderstorm Tyler’s blow up garage goes tumbling down the street 😂
The blow up tents are pretty nice too. Crazy expensive but still cool.
Tyler you should buy another one and do a damage test on it
Is Tyler pooping money? 4-6,000 $ each!
@@justkiddin84 dang!
Western Pennsylvania here. I just purchased a beautiful Amish shed for 3k. It is 12x24 with six windows. Metal roof. On skids. This is a neat video about a unique product, but I will go with my shed any time. Thanks.
I thought this was awesome and was going to buy 1 until I seen the price, a proper shed cost way less
I've always wished there was a carport type thing that was at constant risk of collapsing! Awesome!
That is neat as hell!
Inflatable covers are amazing for hail protection, as long as the top doesn't tear all the hail will bounce off instead of getting dented up like solid structures do
Tyler just doing a field goal with the mushroom is the perfect way to clear unwanted stuff from your lawn/front(or back) yard!
Tossing that tree branch on it really showed how durable it is 😅
Yes, it was as brain dead as him falling on it to show how sturdy it is...the guy is a looser, he just doesn't see it. What a dipstick!
I have used something like this as a portable garage to paint cars.
This tech is called "airbeam" and used by the US Military for portable bases and sleeping tents.
Great video it always makes my day when I hope on TH-cam and see you upload a video. You Never seem to disappoint keep up the good work.
I'm curious if this can withstand rodent and raccoon teeth and claws. They will look for a warm place to nest this winter and this seems like it will be very easy for them to get into and chew holes in the inflatable parts.
Thief: Bro i swear I know the easiest garage to get into, we don't even have to break a window.
Robber 1: what tools do we need
Robber 2: a needle! 😂
*Darts from Tylers airgun start flying*
Next problem for the thieves: wait, I’m trapped in here under a bunch of deflated plastic!
@@mitchybooooy ya'll over here thinking about a needle and stabbing it while im looking at the door thats a zipper and velcro and all you need to do is put it between one of the locking mechanism and boom it's open, then just push the velcro off.
It's pretty neat!
But what about when cats, raccoons, & other sharp clawed critters want to see what's inside?

"My house is being over run with junk and I don't know what to do. So, I bought an inflatable garage so I can collect more stuff." - Tyler logic
"Why not throw stuff out?" - everyone else logic lol
or give it away!
Hoarder mentality
That mushroom has a right to live to you know😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Flex seal that puppy and let’s see a test vs a stock one
Other options, garage sales or donating what you don’t need. But for the sake of TH-cam, I’m glad you chose the inflatable garage option. That was really cool!
Back in the 90s/early00s we had inflatable furniture we bought at a store at the mall called Spencer's. This reminds me of that for some reason. Lol. Awwwww the memories 😊
Spencers still exists :) at least here
@@Peaceful_Rayne really??? I used to love that store. I would love to go visit it again.
That would actually be great for camping.
i love this i was looking into buying one to use as a paint cabin for my car, but in my country is actually cheaper to make a shed than to buy this... u build 8 sheds actually lol
I just bought a shed 2x bigger than this for $300 LOL. In America.
We use these as spray booths. They’re so good for large DIY at-home paint and plastidip projects.
There's a company called car cancoon which is smaller and quite similar, it comes with a pump that keeps the air temperature the same all year round
For the price, you can probably build something more permanent from lumber. However not as mobile.
$4,000 no thank you.
Where we had our house built, our backyard is small in depth and we have power lines close to it, so we can not build a shed so this is awesome. I am definitely going to check them out thank you sir.
I read the title as "I bought an inflatable garbage" more times than I'd like to admit 😂
You don't need more storage, it seems more that you need a garage/tag sale! Think of the $$$ you could make to buy more stuff to test and entertain us all. A perpetual loop of buying and selling. Keep the stuff that gives you joy, let go of the rest
Every OCD fan you have is screaming at you to square up the structure to the fence and existing garage.
I think you should have laid something on top of that rubber floor, like a jute rug or cheap rug. That rubber floor probably won’t hold up to moving vehicles in and out especially when the tires are hot.
Tyler is the Reason my wife hates my "hobbies" he does these showcases and I now find the need to have it😂
sun exposure will make the plastic brittle in 2-3 years and it will leak and tear. We tried a few tent like storage systems for bikes and such and they all started breaking after 3 years max. The heat, cold and sun exposure just destroys them over time. But as an interims storage this is a great solution until you build a solid shed..
This is great as long as you don't live in a windy area 😬
This is cool as it can be !! Are there anchoring straps and spikes? If not maybe cement anchors in the ground and use ratchet straps ground to ground over the top!
How about spreading hay to level out the ground first? Then maybe loose-fit a roll of vinyl flooring inside to protect the floor? Plywood flooring would have to go underneath and extend beyond the perimeter of the garage to avoid having the plywood edges cut into the flooring, and PT ply is expensive. How do you prevent uplift from wind? Snow-load rating?
A good thing you put a lot of weight in this "garage" because I think it could fly 3 thousands miles away with big winds
Perfect painting booth!
Tyler! I got sad when you kicked the mushroom! They're beautiful and good for your lawn 🍄
I would like to see a follow up video to display
Wear and tear, and the comparison of inside temperature to surrounding outside temperature per season etc?
1:14 Should’ve switched out the hats like Dale Gribble when he asked Hank for the hat that came with his new mower 😂
Thats so cool. Handy for RVers. Also cool, you have a real "Honey, I shrunk the kids" lawnmower
