Hi Marina I agree mentally is a harder struggle after my treatments. I also like to write down my goals & accomplishments. I am also a 2 time survivor. I have had 4 infusions of zolodronic acid over 2 yrs. My bone health was at osteopenia before chemo & radiotherapy. Have been taking letrozole for the last 12 months (which depletes calcium). My cancers were Er+. Has anyone been prescribed zolodronic acid & more importantly did their bone health improve? I also take calcium & vit D supplements & exercise regularly. Sending positive vibes for everyone going through their cancer treatments. Marina's energy & kind words are the best medicine. ❤

Missed you by 9 minutes!!! I feel like I am thriving on looking after just trying to let go of the feelings and emotions that arent serving me. Working more being happy and joyful for the small things. Aknowledge the negative when they are there but then let them go and bring in the happy thoughts as much as possible. I just donated my wigs to the oncology department this week which felt really good to do and it was part of letting go. Thank you for another great live. You so inspire me and congrats on the marathon!!!!

Thank you for watching! I love that! Such an awareness to know there are feelings that don’t serve us anymore. They once did but you’re in a new “place” now. I’m sure someone will love those wigs! Thank you Tina for sharing! I’m so happy that I could share about my marathon. It was an incredible experience. ❤️❤️

I am scheduled for my “Matching” surgery on Dec 9th. I’m so excited to finish this chapter, I think I may get a MUCH NEEDED tummy tuck at the same time! I will find out for sure later this month!

Learning about melatonin and using bone supplements. I am happy and researching what not to take to keep my teeth and jaw. D

And what don’t you take to keep them?

Hi Marina! Not sure if you will see this but wanted to ask you what you knew/know about cognitive issues while taking estrogen blockers? I recently had the issue and in fact, lost my job because of it………

Hi, yes. Estrogen blockers can cause depression or “nervousness”. These are real mode changes that need to be discussed with your doctors. Are there other cognitive issues you had?

Wow! You explained a huge question I have had. I thought I was crazy feeling sad ever since treatment has been done. Not able to understand why (and all went well). You said it... I was doing something for myself ... that's it! 🫢 Makes a statement about my life. When, in fact, little did I know treatment was helping me mentally also. A lesson... reevaluate what I am doing and why. You know what I mean. Thanks!

I love hearing this. This is why I do the lives especially years after treatment. I’ve had time to process it. Isn’t that interesting how we don’t realize how focused we were during treatment. The ultimate self care. Now, what’s your new way of taking care of yourself?. ❤️
