    I love your positive out look. I found your video after looking up how to go through surgery for radical hysterectomy for uterine cancer. As a nurse I know all the details but hearing your experience is extremely helpful. Thank you.

    Any suggestions for chemo brain? I've tried all the tricks: taking notes, reminders, etc. I just want my brain to HEAL. I'm in remission and it's been a year since chemo. I am not as productive and I forget a lot of things that I need to recall without looking at my documents. Its so hard.

      ❤I had to cleanse the body from chemo. I definitely follow medical medium cleanse to heal. Many drs in the community to help you. Chemo has metals and preserves-(. We do this very safe...it's a lifestyle change. Energy hot flashes brain fog. All goes away❤.

      I went back to work and relearning my job and now the brain fog is no more. Hope this helps D

      I like these suggestions. A good detox of clean juices could help you feel better. Or a brain activity like work or learning something new. Staying hydrated and having a good sleep schedule help my brain fog too.

      @@MarinaBlackford 💕hmmm a good safe detox from chemotherapy, and everyday toxins... perfumes, blacktop..car exhaust...plastics the list is quite long. Chemo has to be the worse..is by far from a juice cleanse. In fact Not safe.
      Chemotherapy drugs have preservatives and metals. Out body stores them to keep us safe-( Here's the problem as we get older our organs fill up, not just with chemotherapy toxins from years ago, but now all the new toxins that are coming in. On a daily basis....
      The safest cleanse is the 3-6-9 .. you can find information on this cleanse in the cleanse to heal book by Anthony Williams. It's a number one selling book for a reason..... cleaning the body this way, really helps with reoccurrence not reoccurring, fatigue going away, neuropathy, healing, and going away for good... your nerves regenerate just as the liver and the lungs... sometimes it's a little tougher these cleanses make it happen.
      Here's the deal.. many people try these cleanses and by the second day they're very sick-(. Too much. We have to take baby steps. Follow some of the recipes. Follow some of the juices leave out the oils and the fats go slow....I've been cleansing as best as I can for 9 months without headaches, nausea, rashing... These are all signs. The toxins are coming up out of your body. It's very interesting.... . I still have symptoms however I feel better than I probably ever felt in my life.
      Please fasting and just juice cleanse are extremely difficult on already burned out, adrenal from radiation and steroids -(.. this cleanse also heals your adrenal. Protects the thyroid as well.
      Learn about caffeine...nut butters...fat...oils...protein.. it's not what you think. Start with the books it's common sense actually at the end of the day.
      This is key for health....Whole Foods, let go of fats. Ironically, there is fat and everything we eat.... even greens! Please take time to learn... especially all the noise on the Internet. It's very bad and very dangerous for cancer patients. Find out what feeds a virus a virus affects cancer. Cancer is not genetic...in any shape or form. Period.

    How do I stay active during chemo? I’m 23 with TNBC and start AC/Red Devil October 1 this coming Tuesday and I love running and motocross and want to be able to still do those things for the most part. Is that possible?

      The AC is rough- but I managed to continue to exercise after giving myself some days of rest. Be patient with yourself, your stamina may be diminished. I’m also TNBC, the second course of chemo-taxol- will feel very different, and for me, much better. I’m much older than you, so you’ll feel even stronger than I did ( finished chemo last week). Good luck to you on this journey. 🙏🏻

    I am 72 and have now ended Radiation but I am considering not taking anti estrogen meds due to all the side effects. I think my quality of life will be greatly reduced. How do you decide. Thanks D

      I was so scared of all the supposed side effects but haven't had anything noticeable myself. So don't rule them out because of other people's experience. Make your own decision, knowing you can stop anytime.

    Pls if one is done with chemotherapy and haven't done radiotherapy does it av a bad effect??

    • @MarinaBlackford
      @MarinaBlackford  หลายเดือนก่อน

      It depends on what’s been recommended by your oncology team. A tumor can be tested to have an oncotype-DX score and that would help determine if it was aggressive and if you would benefit from radiation or not.
