Captain Lee, Kate, and Ashton reunite as a team and embark on an exciting new season in Thailand on mega yacht “Valor.” After his brush with death last season and promotion to bosun, Ashton’s work hard, play harder persona is at an all-time high. I love how Captain Lee always looks so annoyed when they do these recaps and he hears what really went down.😂 There's no doubt in my mind why him and Kate have such a great working relationship, she doesn't ever bother him with petty nonsense. Pay close attention to the reruns and you'll see that she lies a lot and gets pleasure out of getting the other crew members to fight among themselves. She told the crew she didn't tell the captain about damage to the guest room but she did.She lied to the captain about the rocket ship on the bed. After one charter she blamed a smaller tip on Ashton for canceling a beach picnic because of the dangerous waves. If he had let the picnic happen she would have bitched about putting the guests in a dangerous situation.

He has at least come out since the show has ended and stated he has problems and has given up alcohol. Hell will freeze over before Rhylee and Kate admit how they could have handled situations differently. Very few parents would be happy if their daughter grew up to be like either one of them.
In the end of the day, they need to take responsibility for their own actions and relationships, as their issues have spanned multiple crews/seasons. Kate is a narcissistic, immature, passive-aggressive loser that is pushing 40 and should grow up and act like it. Rhylee is a seriously troubled emotional person that needs to mature and do some self-reflection. They’re both “ugly” human beings. There were a lot of them this season.

It's been two years but the men's behaviour during that season still amazes me. My family used to go on yacht trips like this, and the staff was always lovely, warm, and welcoming. If I saw any of these guys on one, I wouldn't board.

Right there. in the beginning, Kevin proved he’s a liar, Ashton laughed about it. And Ashton finishes Kevin sentences because Kevin’s brain is too pickled to find the right words, and because he’s a follower. He knew from Brian that saying “Calm down Rhylee. Calm down” would set her off but he didn’t know why & he wasn’t there the 1st time it happened. But he hoped for a reaction & he got a little one then she realized he’s a dork because he looked to the other guys for praise for what he’d done. All 4 of those males are misogynists and only want women for what they can do for them.

In the beginning, Simone said she enjoyed doing the laundry and when she asked to start doing service, Kate gave her the opportunity but Simone stood around and looked stupid instead of speaking to the guests. Kate shifted her back to laundry when she saw that Simone sucked at service. Meanwhile, Courtney was awesome at service. The guests deserve the best and Kate didn't have the time to babysit/train Simone. Maybe Simone should start making use of her university education instead.
@Jim Watson We must have watched different shows. Courtney was fantastic. She served the guests to Kate's high standards and didn't complain even half as much as Simone did. Courtney also got along with everyone, wasn't disrespectful and didn't get drunk or obnoxious. It was refreshing to see someone act like a normal person instead of Bravo's typical trashy cast members.

It still makes me mad when he didn't cook anything for the Captain but he thought the Captain was in the wrong for reprimanding him and walked out before being dismissed.

Yup these guys are definitely not dating material FOR ANYONE. I found this season the hardest to watch due to the misogynistic male crew. I don't watch shows like this and if next season is the same, I won't be watching anymore. That would be sad, because I used to really enjoy Below Deck and I think Cap Lee wouldn't tolerate this behaviour but the producers want this (or they would have put an end to it awile ago.
I think Captain Lee just genuinely didn't know how bad the behavior was, or he would've put an end to it. He didn't go out with them at all, or hang out in their quarters, so I just don't think he saw it.

This Season of Below Deck could be shown for unexceptable behavior in the workplace. The Bru Boys took it too far. I really dont think Captain Lee would condone a lot of really shitty things the women had to endure.
Paige Madden had Captain Lee seen any of the material shot during the charter before editing Ashton and his little Bru Boys would’ve been handed plane tickets.

I am flabbergasted they aren't ashamed of their actions, but justify them. I think it's important to ask would Kevin have done that if he was sober. My guess is no. That's not to say that drunkenness means it's okay to act however one wants. But alcohol IS a drug and it DOES impair ones judgement. If he was told the next day about what he did and he didn't apologize then he definitely deserves harsh criticism. So then how does one stop someone who is drunk from doing bad things? Good question. I certainly would like to know.

After watching every episode of the below deck franchise for 7 years... I've stopped. After Ashtons unforgivable violent outburst towards Kate- the other men and the producers did nothing but endorse, support, profit off this toxic and abusive behavior. And watching this clip, doesn't seem like it got that much better as the season progressed.
As much as I love Captn Lee and Kate- I cannot support this show. It's too toxic, and it's not okay.
The men this season were painful to watch. No respect for women. I truly hope I never have to see them again.
I think most employers in yachting will now think twice before hiring any of these guys.

Throwing anything at anyone is legally assault/battery! It is illegal to spit, throw drinks or anything intentionally (including sand) at anyone. It doesn’t matter if you’re drunk, if you commit a crime it’s still a crime. You not being able to control your drinking does NOT excuse you of poor behavior and/or crimes. It is still assault/battery. I’ve been watching this show from the beginning and this was by far the worst men on the boat ever. They encouraged and supported each other’s bad behavior and they have the audacity to act surprised and indignant at the women’s reactions. Ashton laughing at Kevin’s joke about wiping the sand out of Kates eyes before parting was disgusting. I am appalled by the acceptance of this behavior. It was emotional, sexual and physical abuse that Kate endured this season. When are people going to stop normalizing abusive behavior?

You should educate yourself, read the statutes in your state before deciding what constitutes assault/battery. There are varying degrees, such as assault with a deadly weapon to a simple assault, in which all you have to do is show your fist to someone to show the intention or threat of physical harm, psychological harm or intimidation. KNOW YOUR RIGHTS PEOPLE! P.S. As far as getting a grip goes, I am by no means a feminist but these guys crossed the line multiple times. Forcing your tongue down someone’s throat and kicking abrasive material into someone’s eye that can cause minor to severe corneal damage is ILLEGAL. You can sue in civil court for damages and you can report these crimes to the authorities.

@Steve Sherman when men display aggressive behavior, (kicking sand is aggresive), in a crowd, (people have more restraint in a crowd) it is more than questionable what their behavior is behind closed doors. He then showed no remorse, only that it was caught on camera.
It's little thing like kicking sand that are red flags that demonstrates how they would treat you. Couples can bring out the worst in each other. That's his worst with the unconsciousness of being in a crowd.

This has by far been the most disturbing and problematic season in bravo history. I hope that the reason why they chose to have a reunion, is to address the horrifying behaviour that took place this season (Ashton, Kevin predominantly). Its beyond frustrating to see bravo and Andy cohen perpetuate and almost promote these topics, actions and behaviours in the bravo world.... instead of condemning and addressing in a serious manner (ie: gay shamming by real-housewives, Sexual harassment - Ashton this season). Disappointing but waiting for the reunion to form final opinion.

During an Interview Kate was asked if she knew Captain Sandy and what she thought of her. Kate had mentioned that she has worked with her and Captain Sandy was a good captain but different from Captain Lee. Sandy was more hands on and Lee let's you work.
What I take from that is Kate likes to be the Queen B and feels that way on Captain Lee's ship but not with Sandy due to the micro management...But I thought Captain Sandy's ships were ran much better than Lee's, not as much drama and laziness on board.
I took it as Capt Sandy micromanages & Capt Lee doesn't. Which she does. Plenty of drama on Capt Sandy's seasons, if not they wouldn't be on the show!

If you follow him on Twitter or read his weekly Blog, you’ll see he is furious with their behavior and calls them all out in it.
