I like how Rachel stood up to the ridiculous preference sheet and how she held her ground. She did a service for all chefs everywhere.
Elizabeth keeps saying how rude and disrespectful Francesca was but honestly she was NOT rude at all! She spoke to her in a direct, calm authoritative tone like a BOSS should! Elizabeth is a complete baby that can't take responsibility for her own actions. Grow up and get a proper work ethic!
Francesca is just another self absorbed terrible manager with limited people skills. She fits the mold of Kate and Hannah. An inflated ego because she is "chief" stew. She's a stewardess with a little seniority, period.

She ( the chef) was 100% correct about these guests. They should never have been accepted as charter guests EVER.
I’m sure they were accepted and encouraged by production. It sounds like someone thought it would be great tv to have an extreme preference sheet(s), and watch sparks fly. They severely miscalculated what was appropriate and what other factors were coming into play (covid starting up). I hate when artificial chaos is used on reality shows. It’s unnecessary and makes a show unwatchable past the first few seasons.
Spot on! This is a chef who cares about her reputation and is not going to let a group of pretentious spoiled brats ruin it. Even though she was over the top with Captain Lee, I don't think her behavior was that out of character for Michelin star chefs. They demand a lot out of themselves and she knew this was a set up for failure.
So Rachael came back last nite, begging for her job back. The six flaming charter guests were obnoxious but nowhere near as despicable as some other groups on past shows. Clearly, this whole "drama" was scripted from top to bottom.

If you read the instructions on the bottle of oxyclean it specifically says do not use with bleach! I actually remember years ago reading the instructions on a bottle of oxyclean, and wandering why...so I guess now I know....mustard gas is the result

It makes a gas that mustard gas would do if you were around mustard gas like burning your lungs and toxins through your respiratory system.

She did her job. The girl was already 5 seizons on a ship before she met the bullied girl Francesca. So many things wrong? No she did it in front of the camera to look better for herself.

It seems like some people who go on these shows regard being expected to do the jobs they signed up for as offensive and outrageous. Now admittedly I haven't watched the whole season, but I don't recall Francesca saying anything rude or mean to anyone.
She doesn't talk rude, but half her issues were about what Elizabeth said to other people. If Francesca wasn't always listening around corners and through doors, she wouldn't have heard all these things, including the guest room incident. Isn't that rude?

Elizabeth is a bratty child. Francesca is a great chief stew and is actually super respectful when talking to everyone. These people are acting like she’s being irrational but she’s the boss so her job is literally to tell people what to do. She’s incredibly considerate
Those people should work with Kate and see how lucky they were working with Francesca.

Elizabeth had not do her job several times. She did not keep her work area neat and said that she is a messy artist. She said she would take the utensils to the table, and she did not do it. After these incidents, I think any boss or supervisor would be irritated with her and getting more and more frustrated with her. I think she should work with Kate and see how "really" rude and belittling truly was.
With Kate she would've need to call her energy healer every single day.🤣

The menu did sound ridiculous but you didn't see Chef Ben crying or walking off the boat... maybe he cried like once because he was talking about how he went into the culinary world trying to prove that he wasn't just a prep school kid but that was different and unrelated. And OMG Elizabeth is SO annoying she should have been fired along with Shane after the whole MUSTARD GAS incident.

The woman who mixed the bleach with oxy clean,what a ditz.. Doesn't everyone know that you don't mix bleach with any other chemicals.? I learned that when I was in grammer school. She should have been fired,that could have been a fatal mistake. Also the stew told her to use the bleach outside. There is no exuse for ignorance.

They painted Francesca in a very bad light this season as if she was lazy & not a good Chief Stew. She could have been more attentive to the guests with serving them the first few charters every meal; but people don’t realize everything that just be down behind the scenes of any working machine and that’s the ONLY thing I can even think of at all. I’m a manager myself and employees under you take everything SO personally as if everything isn’t just business and as if things don’t HAVE to be dealt with when in a higher position. Elizabeth doesn’t take responsibility or even just LEARN from mistakes, she just takes it personally! Those who are not managers usually don’t understand. I like Francesca. If my employees whined like Elizabeth did about the bleach, (or anything else) I wouldn’t have it -she could have simply said “yes ma’am I’m sorry” and just LEARNED from the mistakes!- she would be an amazing stew or even Chief stew someday if she wanted to absorb knowledge through experience. Francesca is just also painted as a bit “boring” this season since there wasn’t any good drama between crew members this year - were used to our fav CS (Kate) being a infamous one-liner spitfire who always had some drama w the girls. hope Francesca is back for another season! 🛥

This is not a first, Captain Lee ended a charter in the first season for suspected drugs the guests had.

Wheeew...Shane has A LOT of growing up to do. His comment " Eddie gave me 3 tasks and left the boat..." said everything. He's not self sufficient and was implying that he recieved no further instruction so there was nothing else for him to do. Buddy you're a deck hand, THERE is ALWAYS something to do. Letting him go was a great call by the Captain. That crew has no time for an unproductive body on board.

Francesca literally gave her instructions how to bleach a shirt correctly and safely. It's on camera. There are stewardess courses available in housekeeping. Useless stew.
Rachel was drunk. She was drinking cup after cup of Chateauneuf du pape. She even said it when she opened the bottle.

Everyone is freaking out about chefs behavior....but hind sight is 2020. It was the beginning of the pandemic, when we didnt know what was going on! Countries were shutting down, people were dying. Soooooo had we known now what we knew then we all probably would have jumped ship and gone home to be safe with family.
OMG! Don't want to hear Eliz talk and complaint about the rest of the season and even commentary now. So damn annoying! If you see your superior not happy with your work- figure out what you do wrong. It doesn't take a chemist to know you should not mix hot water and it should air out. That could be really bad. Oh, Captain Lee was clearly taken aback by the vulgarity. But apparently it's not unusual in the industry for yacht chefs to quit halfway through a season, so if the choice is between someone crazy who does great work and someone who might also turn out to be crazy and you're unsure of their work performance...

Absolutely. They are paying $250,000 to $500,000 for 2-3 days - most are expecting high end 5 star meals. It looks like these charter guests went so far over the top, it was too much 1 chef. I agree with Captain Lee, just because they put unbelievable wants and desires on they're preference sheets, doesn't mean that's what they will get.

I wish @Bravo @BelowDeck would have a contest for a charter for normal people. My preference sheet would say breakfast at 8am, lunch at noon, dinner at 6...and were in bed by 9 or 10. Beach with snacks and drinks for 2 hours. That's it. I haven't seen midnight in years!
Mine would be "Likes fresh seafood and fruit. Not fond of cream sauces. Please don't make anything with pepperoni or large amounts of mayonnaise."
