I'll admit, I find the comment on the description about how this game is from back in the day where games were about "fun and not violence". As if the two were mutually exclusive and as if this version of the game didn't come out the same generation as the likes of Mortal Kombat and Doom heh. Anyway, I'm glad I found this game again. It's very fun and how I got to know Pacman when I was young.
same. they way op says "psuedo 3d" instead of isometric jumped out to me as well. they must not be very in touch with the modern scope of the industry. this is like saying that all books are about boring history now but they used to ALL be fun mysteries like how they read judy moody and junie b jones in their childhood. both mediums can be about literally anything.

The memory of the ridiculous speed increase after playing through the 2nd time brings a smile. Jumping at that speed you would completely skip the whole row of dots. lol!!! I can’t remember if it started over again for a 4th time or was it the end. I remember being on the final stage of the 3rd play through, maybe I blocked the memories of failure. Or it started over again and that was it for me. lol
i have played all versions gotta say the arcade and genesis are very well done the others did a fair job. the problem with the game boy advanced one is that the music is cut short. it kind of takes the fun and colorfulness out of it. probably due to hardware limitations on the cartridge because the game is identical to the arcade besides the music.

i wonder if the ghosts in pac-mania work the same way they do in pac-man (in scatter mode blinky goes to the upper right corner of the maze, pinky goes to the upper left corner, inky to the lower right corner and clyde to the lower left corner and in chase mode, blinky finds the easiest way to get to pac-man, pinky follows the tile four tiles in front of pac-man, inky follows the tile 180 degrees opposite of where blinky is (for example if blinky is in the lower right corner of the maze inky will be in the upper left corner of the maze copying blinky’s movements) and clyde acts like blinky but he runs away from pac-man if he is eight or less tiles near pac-man)
The CRAZY difficulty is the most harder one, the ghosts are too fast, also you! how many rounds you will survive? Game can be completed, but there are 20 rounds. Once you beat the game, you can start over and you will still have the points you have.
Adam Henry i played it too on my nintendo DS on a gameboy advance game called pac-man collection and i don’t know why but pac-man’s death animation in pac-mania scared me as a kid because it is so different from his original death animation
