I remember playing the HECK outta this game back in the day but I wasn't a player as worthy as the dude playing in this video, that's pure skill.
There was something about the "pac booster" and jumping mechanics, the 3D perspective and the music that had me hooked.
Me neither, playing on the hardest difficulty like that would only make me rage lol

Huh. You know, if I knew this game existed, Pac-man World 2 wouldn't have taken me as much off guard... I only ever knew pac-man as a cheese pizza before that, seeing this would have prepared me.
What's funny is that in Crazy mode, he eats dots at about the same rate as the original arcade game; sound effects aside.

Somebody explain me why they changed the ghost’s personalities?? Blinky (the red one) is supposed to be the angry one, not Sue (the purple one). And Inky (the blue one) is supposed to be the one with the silly eyes, not the green ones. Well it doesn’t really matter but still. A pretty good port though.
Pac-Man could not jump before this version, what challenge implies so?
Some ghosts can jump too, and there's always the possibility to land on one.

The developers of this port were too lazy, so they didn't made it to be faithful to arcade, even though both arcade and Mega Drive have Motorola 68000.

Not so much, but a color hack by someone actually makes the game look much much closer to the arcade version. It was done by I believe a person named fusaru a few years ago. They fixed the colors, and the tilesets to match the arcade version.

Did you play the Arcade or Genesis version? The Arcade version is much superior to the Genesis port (Wasted potential if you ask me, the Arcade version's music sounds similar to the Genesis's sound output)
You know, now that I've seen what Sega and Namco is capable of with their Japanese games, it makes me wonder why the American genesis games were limited like that.🤨😠😆
Well, Namco didn't get to port this themselves which would've been nice.

@@pferreira1983 Dude, quit larping the SMS port is far worse due to sprite flicker, indisquishable ghosts and extremely bad collision, seriously try jumping out Sue in that port and the music is just bad
