Quick tip, at a resting position a human hand will pretty much always have these features: Thumb is resting near the center of the palm (not exactly but close), the pointer finger is usually most outward from the hand while the other fingers gradually tuck into the palm (this one helped me so. Much.)

The thumb will not rest anywhere near the human palm it will mostly rest near one of the fingers

the most effective thing is the shapes. basic shapes. when you paint, what you see are shapes, not lines
from my experience on painting, it's most effective to base anatomy through shapes, memorizing certain parts and identifiying them as shapes
quickest way to learn anatomy :D

yes, yes but shapes can mess up ur art 2 cuse if u make too many shapes it would be hard to picture the actual image so u wanna draw them really lightly and make sure not to draw too many shapes (applies to traditional art)
