- Happy spring or autumn, wherever you are in the world! This mermaid scene was certainly a challenge to bring to life, but I'm so pleased with finished work:)

This painting was... stunning. I can feel like I'm in a dream, the waves crashing and singing to the moon. I loved that you put barnacles and starfish attached to the mermaids, it was brilliant

It was like a desert at first because the wood underneath was probably absorbing until it was saturated.
Ahh.. right that does makes sense😅
Humidity in the air ruin the sizing of the paper and turn it in to blotting paper, so u should always keep your paper well covered.
Its very frustrating when that happens to a painting you set aside for a few weeks…
