Yeah. I truly appreciate this lockdown period, and truthfully i am getting anxious that it would be over quite soon (due to herd community vaccination and all) because then that would mean that my extroverted siblings could come by my safe place and destroy all this peacefulness i am having. I am stressed out in advance. 😩
I'm a social introvert. I am not shy, anxious, nor am I afraid to speak up and say what I think or to contribute to topics of interest. In fact, I'm considered one of the more talkative ones in that environment. I'm not afraid to start a social conversation either so will happily strike up a chat with someone I don't know. I am not inclined to small talk though, don't like talking about myself much and I really don't like being in social situations more than an hour or two at most. I find social situations - even ones I enjoy - exhausting after a while. I do need one or two close friends, but do not crave friends by numbers. I spend most of my time alone and am happy to do so. I feel sorry for anyone that is afraid to go into a cafe or shopping without taking someone with them. Funnily enough they probably feel sorry for me for sitting in the corner alone reading a book or my phone.
I'm an introvert that loves to be alone but also wants to have friends but is afraid to talk to someone but is actually an extrovert when friends are close enough.
Same except for the very last part, im awkward around my friends too and often scare them off or stop talking to them cause I realize I make people uncomfortable when im being myself.
I’m pretty similar, but not exactly the same. I don’t really care about making new friends, and I’m not extroverted with people I know, but I am less anxious when I’m with people I know so I act more like myself and speak my mind more. I also struggle with talking to new people, I’ll usually just stay quiet unless they directly approach me by asking a question or just talking to me.
I'm 25 and I'm an anxious introvert, but also a restrained introvert. I was recently reminded how much anxiety I have being in big social contexts. It was a truly humbling experience as I was brought right back down to earth. I'm always so sensitive about what people think of me and hate to draw attention to myself in public. I sometimes hate being this way.
Me too. (I'm not a native English speaker and I'm not using the translator, so sorry if I say something wrong or out of context, I'm practicing) I identify as anxious and restrained introvert. I also hate it. It's something that sometimes I think I can't change it. I get so anxious when thinking about my behavior and cry when I'm alone, because I don't want anybody to see me cry and to think I am a crybaby. Well, I translated the word "crybaby", but only that.
@@Isabela-uf3dd I understand you (about both the English limitations and the anxiety and fears). It makes it a bit more difficult for me to connect with other people most times. I often wish I can change this about myself, but I remind myself to accept me for who I am first. My best advice will be to not let it trouble you. Just work on making yourself better as a person overall. Add value to yourself, so that you can add value to the people in your life. Also, be around people who make you happy. I truly wish you the very best.
@Benjamin I wanna ask you something are you married or single if you are married then I wanna ask you does u r wife supports you or forces u to socialize more I know this question is weird but pls do answer
Maybe it might help to realize that while you worry about what other people think of you, actually they do not think of you at all. THEY worry about what YOU think of them.
As a Social Introvert, yes, many people had mistook me as an extrovert... I'll turn into a hyper and loudest person in my close group of friends... But when I get home, I would sleep 13 hours due to exhaustion and won't see them or text them for days before resurfacing again...
I’ve always wanted a bunk bed, but now that I have a diagnosis of muscle weakness and have a paralysing side effect from sleeping medication I rely on, I wouldn’t even dare. 😔
I hate how a lot of people think because I’m an introvert, I’m shy? Like- someone will ask me: “Hey, why don’t you go hangout with them? They’re nice!” Like ik Betty, I just genuinely Don’t WANT to.
Yooo!!! Thank you!!!!! I got this so much in high school and My best friend use to tell ppl “ maybe she just doesn’t like YOU, cuz she cool as hell with me!” Haha 😂😂 Even now me and my husband butt heads because he’ll want to go be the life of a party and I’m like “ummm no sir, see you when u get back!” 🤣🤣 Then he comes back an me and my bestie are jumpin on the couches singing spongebob best day ever - he doesn’t get me most of the time lol
Thank you! This has been a God send to me. All my life i thought there was something wrong with me, so I'd go to big social gatherings and watch awesome outgoing and interesting people. I memorized their phrases, body language, the way they looked at people, the pitch of their voice- everything. Then people thought i was fascinating and I ended up being president of two museum boards (different years). I was frantic and exhausted. So happy I don't have to apologize for myself anymore and can just quietly do my own thing and say "No" without apologizing.
yes. i'm #5. also, because of #1, i thought that i was just a shy extrovert, but now i realize that there was more to that "shy" part, and that i'm really just an intovert.

As an introvert, I feel these "types" are more like "moments" in my life than 4 different characters. I felt these 4 different types in different moments in my life. Sometimes one more than others, but all four.
Same! I'm mostly #2 and #4, but when I was younger, I was #3 because I also had social anxiety, and when I moved overseas and lost the social anxiety, I was #1 for a bit. Once I moved back home, though, the social anxiety didn't really return, but I still lost my desire to socialize quite as much.
Signs You Might Be an Introvert👇 Need quiet to concentrate. Are reflective. Are self-aware. Take time making decisions. Feel comfortable being alone. Don't like group work. Prefer to write rather than talk. Feel tired after being in a crowd.
I also like talking over writing, but just because it needs less thinking of how to say what I want to say and in combination with my fast (but more than just sometimes getting miced up on the details) thinking it flows better. If I write I have to stop more often to think about what to write than talking, and I love talking to myself to formulate an idea in words ir talking to someone to get them help with the details and mistakes
Yessss!! I would definetly would preder to write than talk, I don't like group work, because I am always the one that has to do everything and sometimes I actually like that because I am very creative. I am a Social Introvert tho!
I am 3/4 introvert. I can see myself in 3 categories of introvert. Restrained ,thinking and social introvert. Thanks for letting us know the categories of an introvert.
Glad to know there's such a thing as "social introvert" since people always assume I'm an extrovert because I'm not shy and I tend to make everyone feel comfortable, but I feel drained and emotionally tired after interacting with others. I *always* need time alone to recharge.
Same and I'm being comfortable only when I'm with my friends and family(just my family only and not include my other relatives) but still I'm not really kind of person who will say anything or everything to them
I’m mostly a thinking introvert but I don’t mind being a social introvert at times. I like having nice conversations even with strangers sure I’m shy at first but I open up really quickly in a small talk conversation(s) with people
i’m the kind of introvert that keeps his ideas to himself because he’s too shy to express it publicly, thinking “what if it’s wrong, wait for a bit, let someone answer before you do” i’m the type of introvert who is afraid to speak up. making friends is a hard task for me, i’m very shy when meeting new people and don’t talk much. but i’ll enjoying being around people once i’ve been around them for quite a time. I am a/an: anxious introvert with a bit of socialness when i get along with you. edit: i’m so happy to know there are other people like me :)
"Yes I am. I am an introvert. I am not shy. I am a noticer. I am not stuck up. I am a thinker. I am not anti-social. I am an observer. I am not boring. I am an artist, a lover, a dreamer, a fighter, a seeker. And if I open up to you, that means you are very special to me."
1- (thinking) when im bored/sleeping/zone out in class (this happens a lot) 2 -(anxious) meeting new people (i start to stress and sweat💀 especially if no friends are with me and there is a large group) 3 - (restrained) when im at home (i game instead of doing those yoga/reading) 4 - (social) when im with my friends ( i'd rather not say anything and just watch tho) i prefer social media friends tho bc they're more understanding, some people say it makes people insecure, but doesnt make me, i dont post pics of myself on the internet, i just prefer being alone, i also hate if we have to make teammates in class and my friends arent there :P
This summary of different introvert types are so good. I think I’m a mix of anxious and restrained introverts, but this explanation is simple yet good to discover the different types of introverts. Want more videos like this!
I’m a social introvert, I’m loud and I talk a lot but when I’m with friends/family for too long I become sleepy and irritated. I like spending time with my friends but I love my alone time.
100% a restrained introvert, i didnt exactly know whether i was an introvert or not before this video because i thought introverts to be shy and stuff, im not exactly 'shy' but its been a long time since i've made friends, i prefer sitting alone in the classes that none of my few friends are in, i also enjoy doing things by myself like reading (and things that you are always by yourself), writing, and taking baths, i'll be taking tests/exams and i'll do them in my own time and then my teacher will be like "hurry up everyone" and rushing me and i get super stressed and i hate change, if i have my room arranged in a certain way, like my dresser is against the right wall of my bedroom and i come home from school and my mom moved it to the left side of my room, i'm not used to it and don't want to get used to it so i move it back myself, that also includes my desk, because im not used to it being in certain areas so i'll always keep it where its always been, my parents have been telling me to move it and have even moved it while im not around but i hate the change so i move it back
I’m the introvert of: I’m the shy kid in school. Don’t like new people that much. But if I’m with my good friends or family I’m a totally different person. So what introvert am I.
You are uncomfortable around people you don’t spend as much time with while people you know tend to make you loosen up since you are not uncomfortable.
I relate to many of these so much, mostly the social introvert, but instead of feeling comfortable around my closest friends, I feel comfortable around anyone who I have interacted with multiple times, so I am probably just an ambivert

literally me, i also used to somewhat memorise storylines from films and books to replay in my head sometimes i was in them too helped me get through highschool, not sure what ill do at collage as i should probably pay more attention
Uff me too. I's created my own ocs, then erased them, then created new ones, then destroy then, and so on I don't know if it's type of "writter mind" or something or I just have too much free time
Usually i rather not talk to people if not necessary, but when i do talk, I act as extroverted as i can. So I guess i am a social introvert :D Edit: after socializing, expect me to go into a week long hibernation.
honestly i relate to all the types except for the shy introvert, but since most of my friends are shy introverts, i don’t feel the same way as they do and i used to always question myself if i was truly an introvert or not because i was confused. this video helped me clear things up :)
i'm like- - quiet - calm - can come off as "cold" - needs a lot of alone time - always tired - not one to involve myself in a lot of excitement - anxious meeting new people, or being in a big crowd by myself but once we become good friends - i'm really energetic (on good days) - i'm soft - i CAN be talkative if i feel comfortable with the topic
Yes youre right but for me as a german it's a little bit harder to stay concentrate of what she is saying. Because we have the "hard pronounced words" xD I also have this problem on movies. Because when you change the language, english is sooo quietly and when you turn it louder, the music and the sounds are a way to loud xD
Same happens with me . I usually never begins a conversation because I think I might say something wrong or irrelevant and everyone will laugh at me or troll me .
@@catseverywhere4854 I think the main reason they don't reply or just gives a simple reply would be that they couldn't understand you or they are those bitchy friends who are not interested in listening you . I can say this because even I have felt the same situation . I always have dealt with this and I am still dealing this .
@@illuminatidaylight8566 I have no one to talk about my problems, sometimes it’s about friends and socialising. At school I’m just too quiet , whenever the teacher ask me up to answer a question or read a paragraph. My heart would be beating fast, hands trembling or even sweating. Like I just can’t talk.
"Do you know someone who might replay social encounters in their head and think about what they said or did and what they could have done differently?" *Well, of course I know him. He's me.*
I'm an introvert that likes being around people without having to do a lot of the talking. I love being among people without having to heavily socialize , quietly lurking in a group, reading in a cafe, going to a concert with one person or solo, etc) so I guess I'm a social introvert or probably just a creep
I hate when some extroverts don't really understand what it's like to be a introvert and they've like told be to more brave and not quiet. Like thanks i can just switch it off
Yeah, same here, especially when a “friend” told me I was living life all wrong, that I needed more friends and to socialize more, blah, blah, blah...I’ve now ghosted her calls and texts, I just like being me and how I live.🤗. Life is good!
I match with parts of social, thoughts, and anxious, with being super social with a small group, thinking in a corner instead of actually interacting with anyone, and constantly nitpicking my own actions in public or around people other than my friends
Me: So, have we decided on what we are? Currently we are just listed as ‘Introverts’. I want to spice up that title. The three other personalities in my head: Wellllllllll. Yes and no. 1: I’m definitely restricted. 2: How dare you. I honestly say we are Thinking. 3: Well then I guess you don’t know what being an anxious introvert is like. Me: . . . Imma just label this as ‘Social’ and call it a day.
I feel like I mainly a Restrained introvert, like I need routine, organisation, etc, but I definitely have some Social introvertiness, to a degree of course.
The Social Introvert actually accurately defines my own personality , albeit before , As told by my classmates and other peeps that knew me but arent as close as my friends , i just turn into a totally different person when im not with my friends , like from a loud always laughing , always talking and full of energy to a complete 180 degree when left alone by their friends , silent , evasive and cold , it was their impression of me but in reality im not much of a conversation starter but i wont give you a cold shoulder if we talk , i actually managed to reworked those trait , after being told that whenever i acted that way , im always giving the impression of being unapproachable
I used to live in an apartment over top an introvert lady, if you met her on the sidewalk she would duck into the bushes or turn around and pretend to tie her shoe. she was the best neighbor.
Same. I'm great at work with people I know well, and can carry a meaningful conversation. When placed in a large group or people, especially people I don't know, I either gravitate for the one or two people I know and stick to them, or I leave the situation altogether.
I find being with a large group of people actually boring. Nothing of substance is said and it’s mostly meaningless small talk. Would much prefer a group of 4-6 people, but only those that I’m close to.
People hate wearing masks cz of corona Me an insecure introvert: so glad that people can't see my face and judge me Edit :Guys I am happy that I have found all the insecure people like me :)
Honestly, the virus hopefully vanishes soon, but can we pls keep the masks? I don't want anybody except my family and bf to ever see my face again, pimples and all that😭😅
@@kikicat4631 at least no one will look at us funny if we'll continue wearing one even after it all settled down. People got so used to it, maybe we've got a chance 😅 and hey, in japan masks have been an everyday thing far before the virus occurred
When you can look into the mirror and say hey this person would be a good friend for me, then you will know being an introvert can be a very good thing. And you will spend time getting to know your new best friend to discover how many abundant talents you have. Not wasting time chasing dreams others have for you but finding your own.
*1. Social introverts - **1:05* They don’t feel shy or anxious in social settings, and they may even enjoy them! But they feel drained if they stay at them for too long. They enjoy their alone time, but they like to have close friends as well. And they’re social among these friends. *2. Thinking introverts - **1:46* They don’t mind socializing, but they rarely do so because they’re lost in their own little world. They find themselves daydreaming a lot, and may even seem aloof. *3. Anxious introverts - **2:24* Anxious introverts crave being alone, even when they’re with their close friends. They dislike being around lots of people, and often rethink about what they did while they were in public. *4. Restrained introverts - **3:28* Restrained introverts are reserved, thoughtful, and don’t like change. They’ll go out if they’ve planned for it, but they would rather be relaxing by themselves. They like routine.
Were you that bored that you wrote the whole thing what is aldredy there in the video. People would just watch the video instead of reading this whole thing.
I feel like *way* too many people think introverts are these emo silent beings who don’t have any friends and cry every night... I’m an introvert and I can happily go to school and socialize with everyone in my grade, but with new people it’s much harder to introduce myself and I’m a lot quieter at home alone.
Same here. Sometimes i'm loud & happy to go outside with my classmates but when i'm at home or alone.... sometimes it looks like i don't have anyone besides me, i'm always laying at my bed doing some house chores, watching anime, & reading books/manga/LN.... or is it just bcuz i'm just too lazy, lol
I'm a mix between the third and forth one for sure. i don't like going out, i find myself to be really anxious, shy, and awkward with people. even if they're friends. it's not like i don't have friends; i have two closest friends. i just prefer to stay at home than to hang out with them. i mean obviously i enjoy their company but I'm like this even with my family. I'm glad other people are like me because everyone always tells me how it's weird that don't want to enjoy my youth hanging out and making friends and instead wanting to stay in doing the same exact things i do everyday as in reading, watching videos, watching shows, listening to music.
Perhaps it's just me then who doesn't like it so much. It really bothers me that she doesn't enunciate as much as she should and that she sounds like she has a bit of a lisp and even eating her words. But I like that her tone is conversational rather than generic. ^_^
I'd say I'm more of a restrained/daydreamer kinda guy. But the weird thing about me is that I don't have trouble making friends... when it's a 1-1 conversation. When it's more than one person, I shut up almost immediatly, because I have trouble fighting for attention, and am frequently talked over.
Same, I'm restrained and a day dreamer, I have the craziest things in my mind. And well yup kinda same, in my class every grade everyone considered me as their friend but honestly I never really did because I don't like people in general but 2 years back I made 2 best friends who I love. And I do prefer talking 1-1 too, it's more comfortable because I hate crowds and noise
Same. I'm a draydreamer and anxious introvert and my mom does not understand why I automatically shut up when there are more than two people in the room, even my own parents or in group chats -_-
Definitely a thinking introvert. There are just so many storylines I’ve had brewing in my head for years, and yet I’ve never really done anything with them physically.
1:05 FINALLY someone who acknowledges that some of us have friends and aren't socially awkward! I honestly have so much fun with large groups of people, but I just need a little bit of time to myself now and then. Social Introverts all the way!
I'm a anxious introvert. My mother (also an introvert) always said I was VERY introverted. I mean had very few close friends, I would hide when guests would come over, I would beg my parents so I would not to have to go to a party, and a whole lot more. My father (a huge extrovert) has always hated the thought of me being introverted and not like my younger extroverted party sister. He would talk so down on me being an introvert that I used to think something was wrong with me (pretty horrible things). At one point in grade school I overheard some people talking about extroverts and introverts and I learned why everyone was calling me an introvert. So I had always wondered what my mom meant by "VERY introverted daughter" ummm now I get it- In person I'm just about the most emotionless and shy person you'll ever meet. Wish I could change but I can't so...
My friend is DEFINITELY the social introvert. She likes to hangout with people a lot but she can’t hangout with them for too long or else she will get tired or upset, but she also has a lot of trust issues, so.
Lol, I'm the opposite of the restrained introvert. When my friends "plan" anything it usually goes like this: Friend - "Hey, anyone wanna come over to my house tomorrow?" Me - "Ok, I might be there around noonish... Maybe later, idk. I'll probably be there eventually" Then everyone else in the friend group usually does the same thing, unless they're busy that day
"Hey, do you want to go see that movie next week?" "Sure, count me in." *One week later* "Hey, don't forget our movie night tomorrow." "Sorry, something came up (not really). Can't come to the movies tomorrow. I know it's gonna be good. Have fun!" 😁😁😁
That's what i feel like, like sometime my friend wants to hang out or game but it it means less of my time and i feel bad for it mostly. Thank god my friend has a heart of gold.
Yeah me too though I think I'm anxious too sometimes😂 I remember when I was playing with my friend online and I shouted and trash talked my support😂(we're playing dota btw) and it turns out it was him😂 i mistakenly taught he was the other carry aside frome me in the game, never noticed his name changed 😂lol I think about it the whole night after and taking back all the words I've said just makes it even more embarrassing 😂
Basically if you're nervous when around strangers, your heartbeat is faster, you get sweaty hands, and your body will shake a lot, but when you're around your friends, you feel free to socialize to them. That's me. I also get socially awkward. I am quiet, but being socially awkward is not the reason. I stay quiet because I might accidentally say something that people don't like, and maybe they will hate me. When I'm quiet, there's a lot going on inside my mind. When I think of something great to do, it becomes my plan. Then, I do it 1 or 2 weeks later. So in conclusion, I'm a STAR Introvert. Social Thinking Anxious Restrained
1. Social introvert : Don't feel shy, may enjoy themselves, but need a break after hanging with ppl for a long time 2 : thinking introvert : Lost on their whole little world, others ppl may have a hard time hanging with them 3 : anxious introvert : crave solitude even with their close friends, may have social anxiety, or strong reaction when stressing (shaking, stressing) 4 : restrained introvert : feel uncomfortable when being rushed into situations, especially social ones. prefer being alone, Don't like changes.
I’m a bit of a social introvert but I have a terribly hard time looking at people in the eye or talking for a long period of time unless I trust them or feel comfortable with them.
I lowkey enjoy the locokdown. I don't have to fake my emotions when interacting with people outside, my home is the only zone where idgaf about social norms.
I can relate to thinking introvert and social introvert. Yes i daydream whenever im bored, waiting or whenever walking. And yes i do talk to my friends and spent time with them, but if i am with them for too long i get tired
When you're an introvert that relates to all types: I'M ALL OF THEM COMBINED I'm very social when I talk to people I know but I have trouble talking to new people. I get really shy sometimes and have trouble maintaining eye contact and I do sometimes replay old embarrassing moments in my head, for example, when I fell asleep in class. I'm also a daydreamer that doesn't really pay attention to the surrounding environment and can completely ignore somebody without realizing I was being talked to.
This feels more like characteristics of introverts than types of introvert. Based on moods, seasons and sometimes level of growth, introverts can be any of these.
I disagree 😅 because I personally fit the first 2 types & I've never the latter 2 in my entire life. So I don't think it depends on a person's mood, season or other temporal factors.
I had a quick look at the paper and I think you're right - these aren't four completely different types of introvert because people overlap when they are tested on the four measures (except possibly the Thinking introvert, which doesn't seem connected to the others). They're also sliding-scale measures, so you could be very high on two or more of the measures and low on the others, or high on all four. That's not quite the same as saying that they change over time or in different situations, but it's certainly not that you're only one of these types and can never be any of the others.
I'm totally a social introvert. I love going out once in a while and meet a bunch of new people. That's fun. Afterwards, I feel accomplished but very drained, so much that I won't go out for a month or so. I like the peace and quiet of my solitude, but I would go crazy without regularly talking to my closest friends.
Same I kinda thought I was an extrovert and just thought that it was something about my mental health that I feel emotionally drained after hanging out with someone for a day or something, this video made a lot of things more clear to me
Now that I think about it.......I tell people how sad I'm that I can't meet at school anymore...... But deep down I'm at peace and perfectly fine by not having to socialize. I'm not a social introvert but I do need people to interact with.
I like dis quarantine, I'm not exactly sure if I'm social or reserved. All I know is that I am both and Idc about quarantine. I like playing video games and being in my room listening to lofi hip-hop beats.
The 78 years I’ve observed people, especially the last 45 years of being a (now retired) forensic psychiatrist, have given me fascinating insights as well as cognitively dissonant conundrums regarding personality. I believe these presentations on introverts have merit but should be Taken with a few grains of salt. More like distinctions without much difference. NoleDocK

Lol that's so me too

I'm 25 and I'm an anxious introvert, but also a restrained introvert. I was recently reminded how much anxiety I have being in big social contexts. It was a truly humbling experience as I was brought right back down to earth.
I'm always so sensitive about what people think of me and hate to draw attention to myself in public. I sometimes hate being this way.
Me too. (I'm not a native English speaker and I'm not using the translator, so sorry if I say something wrong or out of context, I'm practicing)
I identify as anxious and restrained introvert.

As a Social Introvert, yes, many people had mistook me as an extrovert... I'll turn into a hyper and loudest person in my close group of friends... But when I get home, I would sleep 13 hours due to exhaustion and won't see them or text them for days before resurfacing again...

Signs You Might Be an Introvert👇
Need quiet to concentrate.
Are reflective.
Are self-aware.
Take time making decisions.
Feel comfortable being alone.
Don't like group work.
Prefer to write rather than talk.
Feel tired after being in a crowd.
i am 100% an introvert lol, but the reason why i like group project is because so i dont have to do all the work and im lazy HAHAH

3 - (restrained) when im at home (i game instead of doing those yoga/reading)

but same honestly
John Peter Martinez Tolio yup it depends on mood sometimes I am introvert , sometimes ambivert, and sometimes extrovert
Yup same
Feels like I'm more than 4 types

Same. I'm a draydreamer and anxious introvert and my mom does not understand why I automatically shut up when there are more than two people in the room, even my own parents or in group chats -_-
My god i have the same issue

Mood, if you didn't plan it with me a month in advance don't even bother lol
Exactly! And know I am going to try and bail 3 days before.
Lol, I'm the opposite of the restrained introvert. When my friends "plan" anything it usually goes like this:
Friend - "Hey, anyone wanna come over to my house tomorrow?"
Me - "Ok, I might be there around noonish... Maybe later, idk. I'll probably be there eventually"
Then everyone else in the friend group usually does the same thing, unless they're busy that day
"Hey, do you want to go see that movie next week?"
"Sure, count me in."
*One week later*
"Hey, don't forget our movie night tomorrow."
"Sorry, something came up (not really). Can't come to the movies tomorrow. I know it's gonna be good. Have fun!"

"What Type Of Introvert Are You?"
50% Social, 50% Restrained, perfectly balance, as all the things should.
Social
Thinking
Anxious
Restrained

1. Social introvert : Don't feel shy, may enjoy themselves, but need a break after hanging with ppl for a long time
2 : thinking introvert : Lost on their whole little world, others ppl may have a hard time hanging with them
3 : anxious introvert : crave solitude even with their close friends, may have social anxiety, or strong reaction when stressing (shaking, stressing)
4 : restrained introvert : feel uncomfortable when being rushed into situations, especially social ones. prefer being alone, Don't like changes.

Yep
I can relate to thinking introvert and social introvert. Yes i daydream whenever im bored, waiting or whenever walking. And yes i do talk to my friends and spent time with them, but if i am with them for too long i get tired
When you're an introvert that relates to all types: I'M ALL OF THEM COMBINED
I'm very social when I talk to people I know but I have trouble talking to new people.

Yep
I disagree 😅 because I personally fit the first 2 types & I've never the latter 2 in my entire life. So I don't think it depends on a person's mood, season or other temporal factors.
@@farimasultani6138 how old are you?
I had a quick look at the paper and I think you're right - these aren't four completely different types of introvert because people overlap when they are tested on the four measures (except possibly the Thinking introvert, which doesn't seem connected to the others). They're also sliding-scale measures, so you could be very high on two or more of the measures and low on the others, or high on all four. That's not quite the same as saying that they change over time or in different situations, but it's certainly not that you're only one of these types and can never be any of the others.
@@Draic85 Thanks for the clarification, I related to 3 of the types and I was quite confuse there.

Afterwards, I feel accomplished but very drained, so much that I won't go out for a month or so. How about ambivert?
I like dis quarantine, I'm not exactly sure if I'm social or reserved. All I know is that I am both and Idc about quarantine. I like playing video games and being in my room listening to lofi hip-hop beats.
The 78 years I’ve observed people, especially the last 45 years of being a (now retired) forensic psychiatrist, have given me fascinating insights as well as cognitively dissonant conundrums regarding personality. I believe these presentations on introverts have merit but should be Taken with a few grains of salt. More like distinctions without much difference.
