    The tester uses a slow processor, so you need to cut slowly. Cutting fast produces false readings. Your 70 is likely more like 200. The original diamond disk is good quality. Good system.

      All these guys trying to promote a sharpener do it fast for low readings!

      There is a limit to how sharp a blade can get, each device has its own limits. If you continue sharpening after you have hit this limit, nothing will happen to the sharpness of the knife, but more material will be shaven off, resulting in a slightly smaller knife (not very noticeable). This will have an affect over the years as your knife will get less broad and smaller. Hope this helps

    was this the Pro or just the Standard 2 gen?

    • @Miller.modification
      @Miller.modification  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      This was the 2 gen not the pro

    • @Miller.modification
      @Miller.modification  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The biggest difference from the pro and the 2 gen is that the pro does more passes/stroke per roll so it will sharpen faster

    Magnet is to weak. Also its barrel is wood, not ideal. Wood swells and contracts. Also no lip for smaller knives. I'm upgrading. It will give you a sharp knife for sure. But small knives I have to hold the blade to keep it from going to low to sharpen. The concept is sound. Their are better models. Hone, and worksharp both offer a superior product.

      I agree, only found this type recently, and although he calls it legendary, there are still improvements to make. For amateurs, novice , and the very light house user, these seem to be ideal; hopefully competition will present an affordable entry price model.

      Loved the concept, got excited and ordered the Hone, found out 3 days after ordering that it won’t arrive until Jan 30th. Canceled and going to the Worksharp Precision Pro.
