Their loss. Your blend of enthusiasm, competence, authenticity and crucially lack of commercial conflicts of interest is much appreciated. You would appeal to the younger generation of motorcyclists who are the future of our hobby/sport and often less tolerant of blatant and not so blatant bias that other youtubers/influencers/journalists serve up.
@@bendavies6775 thank you so much , whst a beautifully worded comment , the plan has always been to keep quality over quantity and give out meaningful information… I have never cared about TH-cam algorithms in terms of pushing two to three videos out per week as that can lead to pushing content out without context and then it gets lame and monotonous… onwards and upwards now 🤗
@@leeandrews3056 thanks Lee, yes plan is to get back on track next year but probably not racing as I have this masters degree plus my full time job to manage at the same time , but the content this winter will be a mix bag of things , starting with endurance racing videos and then some videos on Dunlop tires and retro bikes and trackdays plus upgrades , loads
@@BenVarley74 to be honest, I think most of the Formula One factories are within an hour to an hour and a half from Coventry, and the pro drive people are not far away as well, plus we’ve got Silverstone and Donington Park and Mallory Park not far as well

Welcome back mate. Smart move doing the course, so expensive, but it will show to future employers how committed you are to changing into this profession. But...is there really a future in print? The YT channel will reach much more like minded losers like us i think. Your enthusiasm for your topic is what counts. Waffling makes people turn off, but your video editing is excellent and your knowledge is evident. All i would recommend is possibly trying to get test bikes from dealers? Borrow your mates' bikes and do a mini review? Try and release a 15 min video a week to maintain the following? Visit local workshops and manufacturers? Even all that would count toward your resume for future jobs surely? Waffle over

For example before they could only sell magazines country wide , now with subscription fees, they can electronically sell magazines world wide , there is an audience who reads and written reviews are definitely more detailed, some like that … in terms of all the points you have mentioned , I am going to adopt every single one of them, makes perfect sense that … Huge appreciation to you for recommending those things They all make absolute sense
@ChasingTenths what about buying a wreck that you document restoring? Both in TH-cam and written. You could sell it to Motorcycle Mechanics or the like. Ticks the journalism box and gets you some exposure for the channel. Just make it something cool and not a goldwing or a diversion 🤣
