I used to wake up and if my beard was messed up I would trim the hairs sticking out , this habit led to a patchy uneven beard, I recommend wetting beard before judging it and fix it , and when you trim your beard comb it out and only trim the hairs that stick out unevenly, it will make your beard so much easier to maintain
Excellent morning routine! I am currently going through the sample set right now. So far I am really digging Legend! 3 more 2 try Cedar, Gunslinger and 1880. I am really learning a lot from these videos! Thank You
I can tell anyone that hasn't used any beard products yet. I'm growing my first beard bout a month in and I was using regular shampoo and conditioner. My beard hairs were dry and poked my skin all the time, it was uncomfortable. I decided to get the beard growing kit from Live Bearded and after the first wash and condition my beard hairs did a 180. They are soft now, they feel healthier. I also use their beard oil and wax. The oil definately reduces if not eliminates dry skin. The wax helps keep it together. The other product I'm using is their growth supplement vitamins and already I'm seeing improved growth within my first week. I'm not sponsored by them, I just believe in their products. I have canyon scent and it's an okay scent (in sure others will love it). I definately would love to try their other scents and see if one of them appeals to me better. As far as the product itself goes its definately a win and worth the money.
I received canyon beard oil and it is a great scent love the path it takes me on throw out the day. I look to comment in your videos rather. Than e-mail just to give you heads up on costumers buying products.

Should I color my beard?, I am 42 and I decided to grow my beard out. I have resisted it since college because whenever it would start to get a few weeks old my chin would skip the grey and go straight to white.
That's really based more on your personal feelings towards the grey, but we here at LB wholeheartedly support the grey and silver! Plus, woman always enjoy the salt/pepper and silver look 🤘
sometimes it can be a tad more difficult to get the oil evenly distributed in that area, but typically the itch will come where not enough oil is present - don't forget, beard oil is meant for the skin underneath the beard, not the beard itself! Make sure to get it evenly spread over the skin underneath, especially in the under-chin area!
It can take years of training the hairs to flow in a certain direction! A blow dyer with heat is also essential to getting the hair to flow the way you want!
Hey bro! Most guys have a bit of curl to their beard hair. Some guys trim them back or we recommend using a blow dryer after the shower to straiten those hairs out!
a good blow after the shower and after you apply oil is the best time. Then once you have it blow dried to the shape you'd like, apply the butter to condition and help hold the shape you've just molded!
Have been thinking of growing a beard. I am blessed/cursed (depending on your point of view) with very thick facial hair, but I've always been clean shaven. So after alot of reviews and youtube vids I'm going to give live beard a try. Cause let me tell ya my beard is all over the place lol I look like a morning wooky but not in a good way lol
You’re the man Spencer. Question. Do u use beard wash everyday? I’m growing my first real try at a beard and I’m super down the rabbit hole. Many channels say don’t wash often but I find it hard to resist. Mainly I use scotch porters co wash everyday but even that I’ve heard is too much. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
That is all personal preference to be honest. Some guys like to wash out the product before bed. I have found that using a small amount of butter at night with only helps manage it in the morning, but keeps it hydrated during your 5-8 hours that you're asleep. 💪🏻
The oil is great for helping your skin stay healthy. Especially as your beard gets longer. Apply the oil on your skin because your natural oils will travel down your beard, and in most cases causes dryness on the skin under the beard. Queue beard oil!
@@livebearded thanks for the feedback! with just a few days of using the wash and butter, i've noticed it has fixed my beard dandruff issue completely! but i shall look into getting the oil too, especially as my beard gets longer like you said. thanks.
Hey bro, great question. We do wash our beards daily, but that's why we offer our all natural beard butter. It's a leave in conditioner that keeps your beard healthy and soft all day long!
I'm always surprised how you can go straight to your small wood comb. I have almost identical beard hair and even after a wash and condition, and some beard oil applied , I still run through with a wide tooth before switching to my wood comb. If I don't i usually get 2-3 snags in the area between cheek and chin and DAMN does it hurt if I rip one out. Great beard and video as always man

Spencer here doesn't use a blow dryer, but a few guys on our team do. We also doing use a balm, we all use our Live Bearded beard butter found on our website www.livebearded.com
Another great vid brother!! Question : I’m a nighttime showerer. I put beard oil and balm in the beard in the morning apart of my morning routine for the day but after I shower at night before bed I comb beard out but don’t put anything in it because I don’t want product in it before I go to bed is this ok? Or should I be putting beard oil or balm in it before I go to bed ? ( granted I shower around 8 but don’t go to bed til about 11 so it would get some time to absorb if ness. Thanks man!
We suggest always throwing in product any time that you wash or shower. If you do this at night, you'll find that our butter actually helps keep your beard manageable and is no so unkempt in the morning! Balm may not be the right product to use before bed as it has more of a hold and could make for some crazy bed beard depending on how hard you sleep 😂

Combing it with a boar hair brush and using some high quality products. You have to train your hairs to sit how you prefer. Oil, butter and a near hair will help this immensely. Also, using light heat from a blow dryer after you use butter can help this as well.
William Prevost mine has does the same thing for 10 years. I’ve never used any beard products though. It swoops under my right jaw like a hook and points out.
I personally do wash every day as I get pretty sweaty/dirty on a daily basis. Using a beard wash won't dry out your face/beard that much so it won't cause damage like a bar soap/body wash will.
We can afford to wash daily because we use Live Bearded beard butter. This is a leave in conditioner that keeps your beard soft and hydrated, regardless of how many time you have to wash.
Freakin' AWESOME mustache! The backwards baseball hat's kind of a silly look, though, one of those "I'm an old guy desperately trying to look younger" type of thing, but worse than that: it's actually ACCELERATING your receding hairline by constantly pulling the hair back and away from your forehead. Your hair looks fine, dude, dump the hat ASAP.
Thanks for stopping by bro. Once thing we take pride in here at LB is we are who we are. We're normal, everyday dudes who don't feel the need to look or dress in any certain way other than what makes us comfortable. And we 100% support that same philosophy for everyone. Everyone is different, and what is right for some is not right for all. We're just here to uplift and support men and help them #DoBetter each and every single day.
too much rubbing and friction to your beard dude lol dafuq? I hope you don't do that every day. That will A- damage your hair and cause split ends and B - will cause hair loss to your beard from all that rubbing you do when you towel dry like that, put on a beard product, etc. Also It is better to blow dry your beard instead of rubbing your beard with a towel every time you have to dry your beard. You damage and loose too many hairs that way. This is how people lose density to their beards. The reason why homeless people have the thickest beards is because they don't do this BS.
Hey brother, Thanks for the feedback. But if there's one thing we have learned over the years it's that every beard is different. Spencer here gets asked about his beard every single day, so this video was shot for the purpose of showing what he does for his routine. We understand it's not the same for everyone, but we try to give the people what they want here at Livebearded! Have a great day bro!
BeatrCoupe yeah every other day is best, but I get really dirty at work so I wash everyday like him. You just need a really good beard wash that doesn't strip the oils if you don't want it to dry out to much. Then oil it after you wash
You can wash as many times as needed if your beard can take it. Just try not to use a wash containing chemicals. Also, we wash daily here at LB because we use our beard butter. This allows us to wash as many times as needed because it keeps our beards hydrated. Wash, oil on your skin under your beard, butter, comb, go about your day.

We're normal, everyday dudes who don't feel the need to look or dress in any certain way other than what makes us comfortable. And we 100% support that same philosophy for everyone. Everyone is different, and what is right for some is not right for all. We're just here to uplift and support men and help them #DoBetter each and every single day.
u sound like Chris Hemsworth
Bonus!
just rinse that shit off with warm water n comb it thats all you need
That may be all you need. But everyone is different.

And then u throw on a face mask and it totally messes up everything and also gives beard dent... I hate it
Facts 😂
Wish I could grow a beard but I’m left with this pathetic chin strap. Anything I can do?
Let it grow for about 4 months and see what happens. Usually we give up too soon, not allowing the hairs to push through!
No
That looks way too manicured for something that's supposed to be masculine
It's all about preference brother.
too much rubbing and friction to your beard dude lol dafuq? I hope you don't do that every day. That will A- damage your hair and cause split ends and B - will cause hair loss to your beard from all that rubbing you do when you towel dry like that, put on a beard product, etc. Also It is better to blow dry your beard instead of rubbing your beard with a towel every time you have to dry your beard. You damage and loose too many hairs that way. This is how people lose density to their beards. The reason why homeless people have the thickest beards is because they don't do this BS.
Hey brother,
Thanks for the feedback.
So you wash daily I've always heard the opposite even if you use actual beard wash
