- Sharing to you my talk regarding the Bill of Rights under the 1987 Philippine Constitution for the "Kamalayang Lasalyano" event organized by the De La Salle Lipa Commission on Elections (DLSL - Lipa). In this talk, i tried to explain the significance of the Bill of Rights and the importance of knowing such rights.
Once again, thank you so much DLSL - Lipa for inviting me as one of your guest speakers and for allowing me to share my talk to other law students. I will never ever forget this forum. Maraming salamat :)

I do understand madame, but it can be simplified also to explain to the people, that the bill of rights is the secured snd protected rights against government officials or public servants that are abusing it. Not the people against people that would constitute a civil.
From what i understood is that bill of rights is a protected rights againts abusive public servants.. and the congress should be making a law not to overstep that bill of rights.

Hi ma'am, Your video is very informative. I would like to ask about the section 9... Because here in my bario, our house is affected for the public use which is the widening of the road and we were forced to destroy a portion of our private property but we are not given any compensation. A lot of house are affected but none were given any compensation. I would love to hear your advice since we are ignorant in these types of matter. Hoping for your reply ma'am☺.

You had such an astounding illustration of Titanic, mam. Totoo po. It really happens. I may be able to exercise mi rights to protct my family, but I witnessed lots of families in our neighborhood, who does not even know alil' of it, ergo, most of them are being detainded solely without proper procedure of law. I mean, mam, they were like being arrested and seized without due process. Thus, I agree po with you mam---especially to your final statement with regards to the last question, in as much as, to titanic illustration. I am new here po sa channel nyo. on my analysis , not all Filipinos haven't exercise their rights because of the reason not everybody haven't been able to understand or study or wasn't really informed properly especially those indigenous individuals.
it's not, practically influenced by hierarchy is a factor that's why they don't or can't exercise their rights aside from economic factors.
