EASY Bread - Miss Cindy's Recipe

- We love to make Miss Cindy's Homemade Bread, it's super easy and tastes great! These days when we make it, it makes us miss her a lot. We hope you enjoy this video, drop us a comment & God bless you!
The recipe:
3 cups all purpose flour
1/2 cup bread flour (whole wheat flour)
1.5 cups water
2 heaping tablespoons peach or apple jelly (most any jelly will do)
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup quick oats
2 teaspoons salt
1.5 teaspoons yeast
In our bread machine it bakes on the regular read setting for 3-4 hours

I can’t think of a better way to honour Miss Cindy than people all over the world making her bread. 💜 I’ll be making it tomorrow ….writing her recipe down now in my book. Ty again beautiful Corie ❤

Brings back memories of my childhood days. My Grandmother made it the old fashion way. My brother used to make it the old fashion way until he bought a bread machine. Now I know why I love carbs so much 😂 Katie, make sure you eat everything you want so your little fellow doesn't come into this world craving anything 🤗 l love folk lore. I remember my granny making bread and churning butter and we would eat the cream on the bread before it became butter. I was about 3-4 years old & now im 77. Great memories! Love your podcasts, such a precious family. God Bless💜🙏✝️

Also, my memory is of my Greemaz pressure cooking beef roast when we would visit. Oh the wonderful smell when she would call us in for dinner. That memory is way more valuable than gold.

The machines are so worth it, used or new. I know what you mean about space. Try experimenting moving things around. See about checking for things you may be able to donate, in order to make space for a bread machine. 😊

Katie you have the cutest little baby bump! I remember with my first baby I was so excited to finally show. He was 2 weeks late, in June, in KY. Summer came early that year so by the time he did decide to make an appearance, I was ready for my 9lb, 22 inch baby boy. 😅. It's the most precious gift you'll ever receive.

Oatmeal does make good bread. My oldest son’s favorite bread is store bought Oatnut bread. I wish I had a bread machine. Been in the warm bread and butter mood! God bless you all too. Love you precious ones.

It is so easy. You can’t mess it up. Yeah can always buy a bread machine mix to try first and get the feel of it.

I am DEFINITELY going to try Miss Cindy's Bread. I'm fascinated at the addition of jelly as the sugar component, and wonder if (hope) there is the merest, teenciest hint of the flavor of the fruit... I don't have a bread machine, but I've made my own bread for eons, so I can use the traditional method. Corie, you're so cute, mentioning how great it is to use jelly so you can lick the spoon! 😊 I bet Miss Cindy would be tickled to realize that every time we all make and eat this bread, we'll be thinking about her. My mother, who's almost 90 years old still makes homemade wheat bread. She kneads it herself. She grinds the wheat for it as well.

Love home made bread looks so yummy I could almost smell the goodness. A electric knife is the best tool for slicing bread otherwise just Pull off a big hunk and smear with with butter. Thanks For sharing this special memory and recipe. Love to all Katie you are looking so lovely

Honestly i haven't now a days most younger people are rude and will attack older people on here especially Facebook talking about our beliefs and how we view things. I pretty much stopped even going on my Facebook to even interact with family from far away its sad but i will be honest it has caused me to end up saying something i regretted not worth getting worked up over. I shared with one of your commenters, so I thought maybe I would post it here too. I take my dough out of the machine before the last rise cycle, remove the little beater as that’s probably stuck in the dough. Then I shape it and put it in a bread pan list it rise and cook it in the oven at 3:50 to 200°. Way better shape for every day using bread. I’m sure some of the newer ones have a better shape basket but most of us buy them secondhand old ones because they still work in much more affordable. 🤗 thanks for sharing your recipe and stories ❤️

yum i’m gonna have to try that but in oven no bread machine😢 girls i love the closeness u two have i’m a twin n my sister would rather never talk to me unless it was important but i pester her n make her text or call me lol never was close with her even as toddlers she would pull away from me yes i remember back to about 2 yrs old dad came in drunk broke down the door killed all the fish n my seas horses had gotten that day needed comfort from the fighting n she pushed off the bed!!! praying daily for all of u n granny!!!❤❤❤
