My husband has been gone 33 years and grief still sneaks up on me from time to time if I see, hear, or see something that was special to him. I think that never goes away. God bless you all.
My husband died 33 years ago too, April 17, 1990. Same. I think of things I want to tell him all the time. Some days it seems like only yesterday. Lifting you in prayer @katemoore.
@Woodthrush very true, if you look for signs God in nature, you'll find Him. The song of the Wood Thrush and other spotted thrushes is a great example actually!
Tipper, Matt, and girls, I didn’t realize Miss Cindy passed. I haven’t been on in a while. I’m so sorry for your loss. For believers, there’s nothing like knowing that the sting of death has been removed. Where would we be without Christ’s promises. I just lost my brother in law, a believer too, diagnosed with stage 4 liver cancer in March, and he died four weeks ago. My father in law and brother in law, both pastors, died of the same cancer four years apart. Heaven does become more precious the older we get. I understand that now. If we live long enough, we’ll have more loved ones on the other side, than we have left on this Earth. Even so, Lord Jesus come quickly. Will love hearing more about Miss Cindy as you reminisce. May the Lord give you all much peace. Cheryl, from G-ville.
So true, its sad when our elders die and you miss them and talking to them. I do believe in talking to them still and believe their spirit is close when we need them. Only time helps as death is so raw and it takes time. Miss Cindy has left a legacy in Matt and her blood line runs through your lovely girls. She was so pretty and looked a kind person. Your apple jelly sounds interesting. Kia kaha(stay strong) in Jesus and Gods word to you all❤✝️🐾💐
My Cousin just passed away from Liver Cancer, age 68 On June 24 th 2023 , Also my brother Age 62 Passed away from leukemia, thanking the Lord that they both gave their life to Christ, and now they are in heaven, with my other three siblings, my mother, my grandmother grandfather, and all that went before them, I know one sweet day will all be reunited with all of our love ones in heaven!!! may God richly give you all comfort of the heart!!! and strength, as you go through this time of grief!🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️
You’re talking about scat whenever somebody would say that when you sneeze oh it just brought so much joy to my heart. My granny is in heaven now, and she used to say that one anybody would sneeze scat now she was born in Valdosta Georgia, although she was raised in Florida. That’s where I live at. I just love your show and I am so sorry for your loss. I would love to meet you all one day you all remind me so much of my family that’s gone on to be with the Lord especially my granny and her side of the family. Blessings to you all.
Tipper, I’m glad you mentioned having respect for funeral processions. The way my grandparents and parents were raised, you pull over in both lanes when a procession approaches, out of respect - even on a big freeway, I have pulled over before. Also to stand quietly when one passes you by. This is such an easy thing to do and such a generous, kind gift you give to the mourners. I wish parents taught their children respect for things like this, or just respect period. Love and blessings to you all❤
The year my husband died my yellow Columbine bloomed white. A friend's dogwood tree had tri-colored leaves for the first time. Nature is lovely & surprising. Blessings to you all, especially as you grieve and began your healing journey. Appreciate all you do. ❤🙏💝
Hugs to all, keeping yall in my prayers. Will miss seeing her from time to time too. I went with cousins to Cherokee Thursday and we ended up in Tennessee. I said think we're near Tipper n Matt's ! Ok time to scat cat😅❤
I'm glad the service went well. A quote I heard once was "who we are is who we were." Miss Cindy's legacy will carry on for generations. God bless. (Tipper feel free to use that quote. i think your blog and your channel is EXACTLY about that)
My Memaw used to say, “ Scat there kitty, get your tail out of the gravy!” My grandpa was a railroad worker. At his funeral procession through town, at every crossing there was a railroad man standing his hat over his heart. Very comforting. ❤❤❤❤
When I lost my mom, it was "the quiet after the confusion" that shook my soul. I listened to alot of music seeking comfort. Listened to alot of Josh Garrels' music especially. "Farther Along" always calmed my soul and fed my faith. Those lyrics just spoke to me. Give it a listen, if you haven't already. Share it with Matt. Yall remain in my prayers. "Live in the sunshine". ❤❤❤
When my grandma passed of course we were crying and a dear friend said a true lady knows when to leave. Miss Cindy seemed to be a true lady from all the nice things spoken about her
I LOVE LOVE the popsicles that you told me about. And my favorite is the Grape and it does not have pulp. The really great thing is they not only taste great but only 60 calories. That's a win, win. Prayers for you all as you carry on after Ms. Cindy, God Bless her and ya'll . ❤🙏
Lovely time. Thanks for sharing. The wind rustling so calming. Peaceful. Healing. Will pray for Granny's garden. That fish stuff sounds good to add. Daddy would cut fish up n put them near trees, etc. He made our childhood backyard a little paradise. 💕
Many thoughts and prayers are with the entire Pressley and Wilson families as you all navigate thru this new chapter in your lives. Extra prayers for Matt for the passing of your dear and sweet momma.

Nothing unsaid what a wonderful thing. My Grandma had cancer she was the best . God Bless them allno longer with us. But like you said no longer in pain. Thank you.❤
Me again, I just looked it up, hummingbirds can have a spiritual significance and mean the spirit of a loved one is near ❤️❤️ Thank you Ms. Cindy for showing yourself yesterday
My mom died when I was 30, and my dad when I was 32. There is hardly a day that goes by that I don’t think of them. I know it’s the same way with you about your Pap and now Miss Cindy. As long as you remember them, they will never truly die. ❤
I’m now 61 and I have only my son and nephew left. My brother died when I was 30 and my mother before I was 35 and then my sister passed away right before I turned 40 and then my dad died right after I turned 50. I view myself as an amalgam of everything they were and as long as I live, they do too.
My best friend like a sister died Jan 2020 and my first impulse was to call her and tell her…grief, it is an odd beast. Prayers continuing for you all🙏🏻💛
My maternal grandmother had her funeral church service all planned, including who was to sing solos. She died at age 94, so seeing her elderly and frail friends shuffle up to the podium was super special. It really made things for her family easier when everything was planned.
My Dad always said "scat" when anyone sneezed, but I never knew the rest of the saying. Thank you for filling me in on that! I hope you all can get some rest this week and I hope Matt had a good day back at work. 🙏🏻
Scat cat, your tails on fire is what some say here in MS. a lot of your sayings is the same as down here in the deep south. May God continue to grant yall peace during this time
I totally understand about the tears coming my dad's been gone sense 1980 mom sense 1989 my husband 2012 it comes no matter how many yrs tku for sharing keeping it so real we need more like y'all I'm a mountian girl from wva my dad was coal miner and farmer I grew up in mountian and on a huge old farm love it
What a privilege to set with you two as you work through your grief. The Bible has so many verses that comfort us and I hope that you are comforted by the ones that draw you near. Prayers continue for all of you.
My son's favorite jelly is apple plum that I used to make in the fall as part of making apple butter. I always made a blue plum cake and used the plum juice with the juice from the apple peels...a beautiful color and flavor
One of the most beautiful sounds, is you, Mrs Tipper laugh. You have not only infectious but it is literally a beautiful laugh! It makes my heart smile every time!! Had to tell you my daughter calls sneezes 'Bless You's' She says Mommy I had a bless you, or did you have a bless you? It is The little things!! Continued prayers!!
This video gives me the feeling that I've dived into my cell phone screen up here in Connecticut and emerged next to you down in your magic garden in Brasstown. I can feel the breeze and smell the soil and plants from the garden. I smile fondly at the mention of Miss Cindy's habits and pleasures, and am grateful that her last days came in the deliciosly long, cool spring of 2023 that has become rare on the Eastern Seaboard. Listening to the pair of you talk with about grief, love, popsicles (my favorite Outshine flavor: tangerine), bountiful gardens and the tallest of lacy cosmos (cosmoses? Doesn't sound right) in, I imagine, several shades of pink as well as white. You have a way of spreading the Pressley grace to all your followers with nothing but a camera and microphone. What a privilege to have discovered you on this platform. Tommy toes and apple-peel jelly, the Clean Plate Club and "scat now, Tom."
You were a wonderful daughter-in-law to her. You talk about her like she was your parent. Apple jelly or not, she knew you loved her. Remember that. I'm sure she's eating all the apple jelly she can while walking down streets of gold. Many prayers in the year of "firsts" without Miss Cindy. Grief never really goes away. It just stings less over time.
Prayers continuing for your family. I, also, contacted Outshine Popsicles to ask them to consider sponsoring your channel. You guys have led many people to partake of their bars. My favorite ones are also peach and coconut. So delicious!
I love the conversation you and Corie had at the end.....just like there was no camera and listening to the different things going on in your lives......much love to all!
So awesome about the hummingbird and hawks, letting you know she is home and doing fine. My Mama would say "scat cat" when we sneezed, I had completely forgotten about that. God Bless you all.
Tipper, Matt, & girls, I'm so sorry for your loss. When I saw the title of this video, I just wasn't able to watch it until today :( I'm so glad that Miss Cindy's service went well, I’m keeping you all in my thoughts & prayers. God Bless you all!
Thanks Tipper and Corie for sharing your evening with us . Love that saying "scat cat your tail is in the gravy " Have a wonderful week hope Matt has a good day at work , stay safe you all .
My dear friends I’m so sorry for your loss. I’m glad the service was nice. I read Psalm 23 for my dad at his funeral service too! And now I eat outshine popsicles. So you have to try and get sponsored :-) God bless y’all!
My mom has been gone for 18 years now and there are still times I am reminded of her and have to hold back the tears. It takes time, but what gets me through is knowing she is no longer in pain and is with the Lord.
I’m eating a coconut Outshine while watching this video. 😊 I’ve cooked daylily flower buds. I think they have a taste reminiscent of green beans. Peace to your family as you grieve the loss of Miss Cindy. ❤
I'm trying, as I'm sure you are, to remember good times. There is grief but there is also gratitude for the time that we had with our loved one. It sounds like Miss Cindy was a gift to you as my Dad and Mom were to me. People forever change our lives. Some give life to us. Customs and traditions, phrases and idioms. They give us life not only in the since of birth but in the joy they bring and even in the frustrations, because we learn about grace through those frustrations. Dear ones, sharing your love and memories with us is giving life and healing to us. It is a gift.
My mom's service was at the graveside. It was very special in that the sky was bright blue with huge billowy white clouds. Mom's favorite kind of day. Praying you can all find some rest and recooperation as you walk through each day. You've been through and are still going through so much. Jesus is walking with you as you grieve and keep going. You are all so loved. ❤🙏
Poor Corie. I feel for her. She seems so not herself. I'm sure she's wore out too. It'll be alright in time. Time will heal sweet girl. You seem more rested Tipper, I'm glad. Glad to see you all back. The weather here has been weird here too (WV). Chilly, windy and rainy. We could use some sun for these tomatoes of mine to get bigger and red. Supposed to be hot this weekend. Again, I'm glad to see you all .
I am hooked on the popsicles! I never would have never tried grape except for y’all kept talking about them. The grape don’t have chunks in them and neither so the mango. The peach are delicious as well as the watermelon and strawberry. Next I’ll grab the coconut, Lemmon and lime when I get back to Food Lion. Like I said-I’m hooked. Still keeping y’all in my prayers. 19:38
My mother said "Scat there!" and "Scat there Tom, your tail's in the gravy!" just like Miss Cindy. Corie is looking a little gaunt. I hope she gets to eatin' better now.
I thought she was on the edge of tears thru the entire segment. My grannie and only grandparent passed when I was 23 and I felt like (and still do) I’d lost my best friend.
Still sending prayers of comfort to the family of Miss Cindy, and to Matt and Austin, I know how tough it is to go back to work so soon after the loss of a loved one. May God continue to bless you all.
Big hugs from Missouri. I lost my dad in 2019 and still expect to see him in his chair on the porch with his sweet tea watching his hummingbirds. Remember all the happy times and then she will never be completely gone. I watched my dad go from a strong man we all looked to just a shell due to his colon cancer.
I so understand how the simplest things can absolutely send you into a flood of tears. My beautiful Boy, had just turned 25 July 10 , left this world 31years ago come July 25 and sometimes the least little thing will send me to my knees. But !! There is a scripture that says " when you pass through the waters HE will not let them overflow your head". And even tho our hearts are broken God Still Gives Peace. Much Prayer for you all !!❤❤❤
So sorry for your family's loss, but you all were such a blessing to Ms Cindy especially in the end. Many people do not have family that will drop everything to stay with and care for them during an illness. I know it made the pain and the fear less. ❤ My parents would say, "Scat Tom cat, get your tail out of the gravy!". We are from north Mississippi. Thanks for the memory! I had not thought of it in a long time... 🥰
Outshines are good, I like the Mango, my grands love them all. The strength you have during this grieving time of your lives is a blessing to all who watch you, and a testament to what God can do. So thankful for you all! Continued prayer for you dear ones.
I'm always touched and stop when I see a funeral procession. It's one of our most precious traditions in this area. I remember my Mother would always tear up, even though she didn't personally know who the people were. I feel the same way now.
Really enjoyed you both sharing with us about Miss Cindy's service. I had to laugh when you were telling about her saying " Scat Tom, tail's in the gravy" That is one of my sayings here in Kentucky . Also, most people here still stop for funeral processions and I always do. It means something special to those grieving. When my mom passed away I clearly remember a man mowing his yard, stopped and took his hat off when her procession passed. It warmed my heart and I'll never forget it. Prayers and hugs for all of you.
So sweet to hear y’all talk about Miss Cindy and her favorite scriptures. You were blessed to have her, but she was blessed to have y’all. I am sure everyone is ready to get back into a routine and working in your garden. That seems to help heal a broken heart. Our family said scat cat when you sneezed.
What wonderful timing, Tipper! I rode out into our back field yesterday and discovered tons of ripe and ripening blackberries. I can't wait to pick them and try your recipe. Holy Spirit, thank You for walking them through these days of grief.
As you were chatting about the hummingbird, I thought about this line of the prayer we say for the departed. You are much loved by people from all walks of life and a variety of traditions. I know, Miss Cindy will eternally shine like the sky. "God, full of mercy, who dwells above, give rest on the wings of the Divine Presence, amongst the holy, pure and glorious who shine like the sky."
I'm glad you all had a good homegoing service for Miss Cindy. Heaven will def be worth it all, When Everyone thats been redeemed is all in one voice Worshipping our Savior and Lord! Speaking of Sneezing, I tell my niece "Scat Cat, your tails on fire" ...Blessings on yall!
Even with all y’all have gone through these passed few weeks you all still take time to update us on what’s going on in your lives. Thank you! God is faithful to give us those “God Wink” moments of a verse, a forgotten memory or just something seen or felt to let us know, everything will be alright, you are loved, and your loved one is home. God always provides joy, even in our deepest pain. Thanking God for providing you all with sweet memories of Miss Cindy to cherish till you see her again. Hugs and prayers from across our beautiful state.
My husband died in February 2021, and that summer our crepe myrtle in our back yard that have never bloomed much bloomed like crazy. It was gorgeous and I wished so very much that he could have seen it, but then I realized he may have had something to do with making that tree beautiful that summer. Thinking of all of you during this time of grief.
Miss Cindy was such a beautiful woman..She was so lucky to have all of you in her family as all of you having her..I'm so sorry for your loss..Bless all of you..
It's so good to talk about Miss Cindy & what she met to your family, it helps to progress your grief. 🥀❤ Love the chats with the Popsicles! Reminds me of the vists I had with my Mom & Dad. Relaxing! Would love to hear what Corrie & Katie sang & talked about at the funeral. Happy your gardens are doing well! Ours are too here in Connecticut.😊
Praying for continuous strength and healing for your family. I too am grieving my 98 year old grandmother went home to be with the Lord. Just like Ms. Cindy God did not allow them to suffer for long. Keep Ms. Cindy’s memories alive through her recipes. God will get you through this ❤
Psalms 27 is my favorite Psalm too, and I have 23 up in my kitchen. Mrs. Cindy knows the good stuff! I’m hoping y’all are being filled with God’s Peace, it’s so hard losing loved ones, but they’re still here just beyond that beautiful shore! And the lessons they taught us will carry on with us, many prayers and blessings for y’all
I feel your pain so much. My mom died June 22 , 1989. I remember standing at the checkout counter in J.C. Penney the following December with a pretty blue sweater in my hands, and I just had a complete come-apart when I realized I was standing there with a Christmas present for Mama, who of course had been gone for 18 months. The tearful memories truly do sneak up on you, but they all are precious, and every tear comes with a smile eventually .
Miss Cindy's home-going sounds like it was very special, meaningful, just right and beautiful. What a blessing to have family singing at one's funeral (not everybody has such a blessing, as I'm sure y'all know) !!! Without a doubt, Corie's words for her grandmother were deeply loving and thoughtful, perfect. God bless the soul of Miss Cindy, bless you all until you see her again. P.S. I was among those who emailed Dreyers (company producing Outshine). I told them I know for sure y'all are upping their sales, as I'm buying them (never heard of them prior to your videos) and they're often sold out. Love to you all. Continuing to lift you up in prayer. 🙌🏼 💓 🕊
Hope y’all can get caught up on your garden. It may help you during the grieving process and keep you busy. I have my first garden ever and I have watermelons and I’m so excited. I planted the ones y’all planted and I’m so excited to see them growing. I love those popsicles and I’m going to get some this week. Yum!

What a privilege to set with you two as you work through your grief. The Bible has so many verses that comfort us and I hope that you are comforted by the ones that draw you near. Prayers continue for all of you.
Bless for the sneeze at 10:40
Thank you for sharing Miss Cindy’s funeral. So sorry for your loss.
Enjoyed the visit and hearing the wind in the trees 🤗❤️
My son's favorite jelly is apple plum that I used to make in the fall as part of making apple butter. I always made a blue plum cake and used the plum juice with the juice from the apple peels...a beautiful color and flavor
🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤❤. Sending hugs and prayers during these difficult days God bless and take care
Thank you!
You are so sweet! Thank you! How sweet that your daughter calls them that 😀 I will think of them as bless you's now 😀
Condolences and continued prayers to your family.
Thank you!
So glad you enjoyed visiting with us 😀
You were a wonderful daughter-in-law to her.
Thank you for the reminder-she did know I loved her and she surely loved me 😀
Prayers continuing for your family. I, also, contacted Outshine Popsicles to ask them to consider sponsoring your channel. You guys have led many people to partake of their bars. My favorite ones are also peach and coconut. So delicious!
You are so kind-thank you 😀
I love the conversation you and Corie had at the end.....just like there was no camera and listening to the different things going on in your lives......much love to all!
So awesome about the hummingbird and hawks, letting you know she is home and doing fine. My Mama would say "scat cat" when we sneezed, I had completely forgotten about that. God Bless you all.
My Condolences to your Family at this time… Our prayers are with you. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽😇
Thank you!!
Tipper, Matt, & girls, I'm so sorry for your loss. When I saw the title of this video, I just wasn't able to watch it until today :( I'm so glad that Miss Cindy's service went well, I’m keeping you all in my thoughts & prayers. God Bless you all!
🙏🙏🙏 that the service was so comforting and being able to reminisce about Miss Cindy.
Thank you!
😀 Love that!
❤my heartfelt condolences to your family. What a beautiful lady Miss Cindy I see her in both your daughter's ❤may God comfort your hearts ❤🌹🌷⚘⚘⚘🌹🌹🌹🙏
I didn't know her, but somehow, I felt great sadness when you told us of her death. I cried during this video. Blessings to all of you. 😔
Bless you and thank you!
Watching you and Matt has got me hooked on eating Popsicles every day . I love Outshine.
I know how hard it must be . But i'm happy to hear all went well . My heart breaks for you and your family 🙏💖🌹. Blessings and love .
Thank you so much!
@@CelebratingAppalachia May Miss Cindy rest in paradise ❤️
She will definitely be missed. What a beautiful person inside & out. Glad u we’re able to be with her. ❤& Prayers
Thank you for visiting with us 😀
Thank you for the sweet visit.
Glad you are enjoying them too 😀
Yep. My family is now hooked on outshine thanks to you guys!
By the way, because of your popsicle talks, I am now an Outshine bar afficionado! My favorites are Mandarin Orange and Grape.😍🥰
😀 Love that! I've never seen the orange. I will have to look for it 😀
@@CelebratingAppalachia Oh I think you will love it if you like oranges 😘
I'm glad Ms. Cindy's service went so well. I know you honored her. Grammy from Texas
Thanks so much 😀
Seeing the bag of apple peels was Ms Cindy telling you she is still with you, and to remind you to make the apple jelly.
May her memory be a blessing. 💐
My mother said "Scat there!" and "Scat there Tom, your tail's in the gravy!" just like Miss Cindy. Corie is looking a little gaunt. I hope she gets to eatin' better now.
Love that Papaw! She's plumb wore out but hopefully can get some rest this week 😀
Bless you!
Much Prayer for you all !!❤❤❤
Bless you Yuvonda!! We appreciate you so much dear friend!!
So sorry for your family's loss, but you all were such a blessing to Ms Cindy especially in the end. Many people do not have family that will drop everything to stay with and care for them during an illness. I know it made the pain and the fear less. ❤
My parents would say, "Scat Tom cat, get your tail out of the gravy!".
Thank you!
God Bless your family! Thanks for taking time to share with us🙏
My Mama used to say, " Scat cat! Go catch a rat!", whenever one of us sneezed.
Thank you for reminding me...
Have a blessed week!💖
I'm always touched and stop when I see a funeral procession. It's one of our most precious traditions in this area. I remember my Mother would always tear up, even though she didn't personally know who the people were. I feel the same way now.
We appreciate YOU. May Miss Cindy’s memory be a blessing.
Thank you!
Wish I had grown up in a place like yours. Your place and your family are so inspirational. Love watching your channel.
Beautiful! Thank you!
Thank you Josh! Love that you're keeping that old saying alive for her 😀
Even with all y’all have gone through these passed few weeks you all still take time to update us on what’s going on in your lives.
Grief is a two way street and a result of being well loved. Your family is so loved and treasured.
Love that story! I'm sorry you lost him!!
Thank you for sharing with us Tipper and Corie.
Our pleasure!
Love all the Outshine, thanks for introducing me to them.
God will get you through this ❤
I'm sorry you lost her!!
@@CelebratingAppalachia thank you
Psalms 27 is my favorite Psalm too, and I have 23 up in my kitchen. Mrs. Cindy knows the good stuff! I’m hoping y’all are being filled with God’s Peace, it’s so hard losing loved ones, but they’re still here just beyond that beautiful shore! And the lessons they taught us will carry on with us, many prayers and blessings for y’all
Scat Tom your tails on fire.
Bless you!
I am so very sorry for your loss. May the Lord comfort you all until you meet again that sweet day in Heaven. Bless you all.
Thank you!! We appreciate you 😀
Hope y’all can get caught up on your garden. It may help you during the grieving process and keep you busy.
I have my first garden ever and I have watermelons and I’m so excited. I planted the ones y’all planted and I’m so excited to see them growing.
I love those popsicles and I’m going to get some this week. Yum!
