    Phone Vs Mirrorless Camera Video Comparison.
    As a content creator, I was interested to see how well smartphones stack up against mirrorless cameras. And what better way is there to find out than in a head to head comparison?
    Enjoy!
    Cameras used:
    Mirrorless = Fujifilm XT4
    Smartphone = Sony Xperia 1V
    THANKS FOR WATCHING

    Great video. Most surprised I preferred A for the night time.

    I know very little about cameras but that was very interesting, you have real film making talent sir!

    Wonderful video. I actually preferred camera A for the nightime shots

    Although camera Bs footage looked better, it wasn't by much. It really does come down to content for me, well that and my eyes are old and knackered 😂

      Knackered eyes can save you a lot of money indirectly 😆

    It is still a pretty big difference, but compared to other phones Xperia has the best camera in my opinion. The biggest challenge is that with phones cameras, you never get the real color, it allways looks a bit like painted.

      Phones definitely have a more 'digital look' especially when shot in auto modes.
      I like the flexibility that the Xperia allows it's users. Manual settings plus an ND filter make a world of a difference.

    I've got to agree, the quality coming from a mobile phone is just insane. I am using the iPhone 15 Pro Max, with the capability of using log and lut make things so different!

      That's a beast of a phone man! The ability to record video externally to an SSD in Prores was a big temptation with the new iphone(s) especially because you can manually tinker all you want with the Blackmagic app. I watched almost all the cinematic videos on YT and was just wowed.
      However, I got a really good deal on the Xperia and can't say I regret the choice.
      I wonder what the future holds.

      Exactly, with BlackMagic and the ability to manually expose the video is just wonderful. Knowing that you can flip a mobile phone from your pocket and record a "high quality" video really is the best. It frees you from holding a big camera, especially during social gatherings. But, of course with limitations considering the size of the sensor.
      "I wonder what the future holds." For me, I hope that the iPhone can use a larger sensor and also record spatial videos in 4K.
      At the moment the spatial videos are only in 1080p and I find that interesting, recording memories in a stereoscopic video and watching it again in an "almost" 3D way.

      @@halimrahman I understand that there's an inevitable "real estate" limitation with phones with regards to how much hardware manufacturers can cram in.
      I do think, with AI in the mix somewhere, the gap will be bridged even more.
      Either that or they'll make slightly larger phone variants for enthusiasts who are happy to sacrifice form factor for bigger sensors and lenses.

      I don't mind a slightly thicker phone if it has a 1-inch sensor. Imagine the crispier/sharper videos, especially in the low-light situation.

    As much as I like my full frame Sony and its mega expensive lenses for specially planned trips, my Pixel is with me all the time and does a more than decent job. I visit channels like AFROBYKR for the content, if the video quality is 2% less I'm not noticing it.

      Yeah, I'm the same too. A bit more planning has to go into carrying the camera plus all my gear (gimbal, lights, lenses, mics, etc). I have also found that people are less intimidated by the phone (myself included 😅). So you can get away with taking photos or videos in places where you'd otherwise need a permit.
      Thanks for watching, I will keep uping the content quality for more return visits 😁🙏🏾
