I recently started studying cameras and lenses to film my nephews football games. I've watched SOOOO many videos to help me understand the technical info and its so hard to grasp, but this video is the single most informative video i've come across so far. I finally feel like im learning what I need to be better with the camera. THANK YOU.
This is a great video for some us looking for a 16-35 or people who are starting not only in content creation but any type of photography/vudeography Great guide overall
This actually helped me a lot! I’m looking for a good versatile lens for my 90D for just taking around when I am traveling. I’m thinking the 24-70MM is best. Great content ❤❤❤
I was in the same dilemma a few months ago eyeing the 24-70. I finally decided on the 70-200 II which I found for a good price. Turned my 90D into a beast
I have a crop sensor camera and I use the 18-35 f1.8 which is 28-56 and I have a 50f1.4 which is 80. for wide shots, I use my son's DJI pocket 2 which is 20mm. these have been my go-to's for a year now
Great video man this stuff is so confusing picking a great lens for filmimg movies its insane without a big budget especially with a micro 4/3 sensor and speed booster no speed booster etc etc its very confusing
It's amazing how you guys always seem to compress so much technical information into brief, concise yet simple to understand videos. Looking at any of your videos, one can see a lot of thought and work has been put in each project. Your simplification of complicated projects are genius.
18:10, hi Anthony. i'm using Sony A6600, what bout if i buy the Tamron 17-70mm f2.8 for APSC? Is it still in the same range with 24-70mm that u're talking about? Please answer..
Absolutely the best discussion/explanation of lenses i have ever seen. Well Done! Thank you for putting into video and words what is easy to understand and helpful for those of us looking at lenses.
@@MrPaulXavier why is it that, no where on your website there is a way to get in touch with someone?? I have a question for one of your products and yet there is not ONE way of getting in touch with you ANYWHERE. This looks and seems a bit suspicious to me. I have a question regarding the “How To Create, Market & Scale 6-7 Figure Courses In 30 Days” course. Where can I go for this question??
@@MrPaulXavier I wrote that barely 2mins into the video and boy did it hold up! Not only did you maintain that extreme production value but also provided information in an outstanding information density while maintaining clarity. That tipped me over so that I decided to get your premium product. Looking forward to it!
@@azaynavyyl well currently i'm still at my internship and I will get my first camera in about a month... So still haven't bought one But I think I will get a sigma 18 - 55 aps c lens sinds I'm going to get the Sony A6400 and will make both video's and photo's

Please help me here, is there any adapter that can be used on the Canon EOS R6 Mark II to connect with the SIGMA 24 - 70 MM F2.8 DG DN lens. I have tried everything but seems to be difficult finding an adapter. The lens is an E mount whereas the R6 mark II camera is RF
I’m looking to purchase a camera and lens for interior remodeling and painting to take before and after pictures with wide lens in low light conditions specially in winter time when it gets dark soon. What setup do you recommend? Thank you very much.
Does this assume full frame and ignores crop sensor impact on focal length perception? I’ve got Canon 700D APS-C camera. This means my 50mm is zoomed in, more like 80mm on a full frame.
@mrpaulxavier Great video m I am new. I wish you told us the lense (mm) you used to film yourself. Idea, make a video for indoor and outdoor video content (like talking head) showing sitting in a couch, chair, desk... So we can see from full view to just waste and up. Again, great video. Well done 👍👍👍👍
I'm buying my first camera and lens combo soon. I'm looking at the Sony ZV-E10 camera and the Sony Alpha 16-55mm F2.8 lens. Because it is a crop sensor camera, does that mean the lens is actually 24-83? Or is that lens made specifically for crop sensored cameras?
Love the 35mm - sold it because I switched fully to sony but it was great as a standard lens and macro. The macro aspect doesn't really impact how it works normally
Traducir texto con la cámara thanks for this great video. My question is this. I want to buy a camera with ibis, but I don't know how important it is to buy a lens with oss? I like the versatility of a 18-50mm 2.8 but it doesn't have oss, there is a 35mm 1.8 with oss, which one would you recommend more?
Paul, I’m Using a Sony FX 30 to film my fishing videos. My tripod will be stationary, which lens do you recommend if my tripod will be about 5 foot from my fix position in the boat. Thanks for the help.
Hi I use an eosm camera and I shoot weddings , film and architecture..what lenses will you recommend based on my preference...Thanks for your elightment
Great stuff... I saw you mentioned that a TH-camr should be using a Fixed Prime but not the size. I have a Cannon EOS 70D and looking to make TH-cam videos headshots, any help? Thanks in advance
So on a aps-c sensor it crops in AND zooms in right? So a 30mm lens on a full frame camera will zoom in on an aps-c camera to 45mm right? So technically you get further zoom on aps-c cameras?
Crop in and zoom are used interchangeably here. When someone says it CROPS IN, they basically mean that the resulting image will look ZOOMED IN. So really one and the same. Either way you are correct. The final image is more zoomed in
What 24-70 lense would you recommend for canon r8? Filming social media content for restaurant/bars (trendy punchy vids and 30sec vids of behind the scenes, chefs cooking, drinks, etc)? Also any other lense to get? Thinking of getting a gimbal too.
Amazing video, tons of great info. Think you can help me out with something? I have two use case scenarios, filing my children / family but also I want the capability of filming unboxing/tech reviews. I have a Sony ZV-E10 and based on the info you presented, I "focused in" on two lenses. The Sigma 16mm 1.4 and the Sigma 18-50. What do you think? Am I on the right track or should I "focus" on something else? Thank You!

Anything between 24-50mm is pretty solid! The smaller the space you’re filming in the wider the lens should be 🔥

So if you are doing landscapes, and don't want a blurry background, what do you suggest?
If you’re doing landscapes you don’t want a blurry background. That would cause the landscape to be blurry because it is the background.
@@MrPaulXavier agreed, but how do you avoid doing it?
what is the best lens for gym content on a Sony a7 iii?
