The rug looks like it’s on top of a carpet; when you walk (etc) on the rug you depress the pile on the carpet beneath and this will always cause the fibres of the pile to tilt in one constant direction. The action of the fibres will push the rug as it depresses but not as it returns up (sort of horizontal ratchet). As others have said you can get a non creep liner to put between the rug and the carpet.
I feel like with second-born children, they hit milestones a lot quicker because they're observing their older siblings. I apparently skipped crawling and started walking at 10 months.
Yes! my oldest walked a week after his first birthday, my 2nd at 11mo, my 3rd at 9.5mo, & my last he walked at 8m.

Jackson is in that, "all eyes on me" stage. All kids go through it, they love to interrupt, needing extra attention. you guys are handling it great. But he is a smarty. Looking forward to the cruise videos! Needing some sun, even if it is by watching a screen. Haha!
I can definitely say that when I lived in Connecticut my seasonal depression was real. It was so cold and grey, dreary and dark for what felt like an eternity and when I moved to Florida it went away. It was the best feeling to be able to be outside more and have more sunshine is amazing! Haha I have a watermelon knife and it works great! I didn't think it would make a difference but it did😂. Maybe it's just in my mind but I'm sticking to it😂. Jackson is such a smart cookie! They're both blossoming into awesome little dudes. I hope you're enjoying your cruise❤. Tim, I love how you are getting Jackson to do random adding tasks. I’m a retired teacher (with a passion for maths), can I suggest a good thing to do is get Jackson to use the answer he’s got to do a related one. For example, you did “4+3” and he correctly worked out 7; next do “ok if 4 add 3 is 7, what is 4 add 2?”

When my grandbabies were that age we played number family post office. 1st crafted paper houses like the 10 house, 15 house, 6 house...then we addressed letters that read 3 + 7, 5+5...etc. You are the mail boss and hand the child the mail and based on the house address the child delivers the mail. The first few times you play, they are a new employee so u must carefully and kindly correct their work. Mine always ended up dealing with lovely homeowners with the odd grumpy person on their route. Always very nice dogs. Soon they will learn this much needed base math skill while having creative playtime. It also works as a foundation for when they are learning multiplication factors. Loved the fun of learning playtime. Brain power rocks!
When Jackson says, “Tell or show them,” I wonder how he pictures us in his mind?
SAD is why we have taken a trip to Florida the last few years. We are in Alabama, but it still gets cold and everything looks grey and dead. I go to Florida to see green grass and flowers. We could easily be snowbirds after the hubby retires.😊

Retired 1st grade teacher here. I would say that Jackson's math skills are at a beginning 1st grade level. Seems as though he's learned to start with the "bigger" number and then "count on" to get the answer. Great job Jackson!

There are few things about Jackson that remind me about my own son. Specifically that he was also good with numbers (like really good lol) and still is. The best thing we got him when he was 4 was a calculator. He loved writting big numbers and asking us what they were. He also went through a phase of constantly saying "1+1=2, 2+2=4, 4+4=8, 8+8=16, 16+16=32, etc". He is in grade 5 now and his teacher gives him higher grade math lessons because otherwise he gets bored. I bet Jackson will be the same. 😊❤

We just got off the Disney Dream yesterday. We had wonderful weather in Grand Cayman and Castaway Cay. It was a 5 night cruise with Marvel Day at Sea. Lots of fun! Assume you are doing a 3 or 4 night on the Wish.

The rug needs a rubber-like liner under it to keep it from bunching up. You can get them online.
They say if the baby’s holding a ball in each hand standing up they’ll start walking u should try it
when you are gliding in that chair, with your feet, you are pushing it back and forth while getting air time so the rug is moving, i have that same exact problem
I do agree, this weather is on predictable yesterday It was 55 degrees here in Pennsylvania and today it's 48 degrees and next week it's supposed to go back down in the 40s

It was recently about 10 degrees here for a week and snowed. Then this past week was about 40 to 50 and rain melted all the snow! Funny how warm 50 can feel when the sun is shining.

I think what Jenn was using to sweeten the sauce is agave nectar. Tequila is made from blue agave, and it’s not a cactus, it’s a type of succulent. Fun fact for Tim: all cacti are succulents, but not all succulents are cacti.

I grew up in Florida and moved to Kentucky. One of my first winters here, I had to get back on my antidepressants because the seasons here are so much harder. I love the snow, I love the cold, but the lack of sun and lack of stuff to do outside (since our theme parks and what not actually close during the winter) really kills me.
Yes!!! Here in Upstate NY ... last weekend was beyond freezing!!! This weekend it's in the 40s ... unusual for this time of year!!!

13:43 that’s how it is here in WV. We got hit with back to back snow storms got 8” of snow and it was in the low 20s and the week after it’s 60 some degrees

In Wales, we put the biggest number in our head and count on the smallest... 800 in our head then add 8 😂😂 love it when our tiny humans love to learn! My 5 year old is the youngest in his class and took him longer to read, but now its clicked he is so proud of himself!!! 😊 xx

I have a carpet it's like a runner in my library at school (I'm a school librarian) and I have the kids stand on it while they wait to check out their books and it moves all the time the kids aren't like picking it up or anything... I always wonder how it creeps around the area.
My kids were in their cribs past 3
They wanted piles of books brought to them and then they'd hang in there before asking out. They were both climbers of all thing, but not their crib had no interest in climbing in or out. Funny enough they are now 13 & 15 and sleep in lofts with solid sides all around them and sleep with books in their bed / forever nesting children
Put carpet tape around the edges. Works great
I live in Alaska. It's horrible in the winter. Long, cold, dark, days/nights. Then you've got summers, which may be light most of the day, but you can't enjoy a movie under the stars or warm summer nights.
A great place to visit, but living here can take a tole on one.

27:01 I was in Las Vegas recently and I did that exact combo. Let's just say that it was perfect because the sauce was good, the fries were delicious and I enjoyed it, although I did give the coleslaw away to my friend.
The best rug gripper is the one that you cut, the thick one, I don’t know how to explain but it comes in large pieces and looks kinda like vacuum lint but condensed. Hope you know what I’m talking about haha. They work great in my house (carpeted rooms).

The rug prob is definitely from the chair rocking, but it’s also because it’s a rug on top of a rug and that makes a type of friction.

Updated safety regulations recommend not getting a crib where the sides drop as there were too many accidents as they weren't sturdy enough

The seasonal depression hits real. Not only is it dark early but it’s just cold so no one wants to do anything ever. So happy to be coming down there at the end of February for a week break
My second child was climbing out of his crib at 8 months and I would find him all over the place ( next to his sisters bed under the crib, under the dining table, It was always a quest in the morning until I put a volley ball net over it).

As a Louisiana native who grew up in Baton Rouge on Cane’s, I can say it is just chicken. It used to be way better when I was younger before it was so big and all over the country. The breading didn’t used to fall off so much and, overall, I feel like the tenders used to be better cuts of chicken. I will say the food is 100% better if you eat inside. My grandparents told me that and took me to dine in after I complained about how mediocre it’s been lately. I feel like they gave us better tenders than in the drive thru and the fries are sooooo good fresh.

I live up north in Mass and get affected by seasonal depression. This time of year is tough. I'm a Summer girl so looking outside this time of.year and its just gray and white is tough 😒 I was definitely born in the wrong climate 😂 Enjoy your cruise!!!
