“They’ll be chocolate around this house for FIFTEEN years” nice throwback to yesterday Tim!😂😂
I started laughing at 2:40 when Tim mentioned the chocolate lasting for 15 years (only people who watched last video will understand)
Next Easter pick one or two colors for each of the boys and they can only pick their colored eggs. That way it’s fair and no/less arguments.
Oliver is cracking me up, he is very critical of his Easter books🤣. Both boys are adorable, glad they had a great Easter!
I loved Jackson's reasoning about why the Kinder egg was chewier! Adorable!❤
Scented glue? I love that Elmer’s is out here keeping glue sniffing alive! Lol 😅
Historian here! The easter egg hunt/bunny conversation sent me on a mission:
-Around the 1600s in Germany there were folk traditions and stories of children hunting for eggs hidden by the Easter Hare.
-In England around the same time, it was tradition to go on Easter hare hunts, which they would eat for dinner. It was believed that eating hare at Easter would scare away witches, who could take the form of a hare. This was inspired by pagan traditions during the spring equinox and the symbolic cleansing of witches and winter.
-Also may have a connection to a Pagan goddess of Dawn named Eostre. Pagan celebrations of the spring equinox would include painting eggs to resemble blooming flowers. They would celebrate that the changing weather would mean that the chickens would lay more eggs, since they wouldn’t as much in the winter. Symbols of abundance/rebirth.
-Hypothesis: the hunt for eggs combined the traditions of the egg (rebirth/resurrection) and the hunt for hares.
(Smithsonian Magazine has an article that explains this in a little more detail)
every time oliver comes on the screen my face just lights up. he is the happiest, calmest, and most alert baby i’ve ever seen. his energy is just infectious💙
Jackson and Oliver are some the cutest children. I mean just adorable. Very fun family vlog.
Canada here, growing up 1902 thru 1920, my Gran came from a family of 12 kids. Easter morning they were allowed to eat as many eggs as they plzed. No chocolate no toys. Eggs were not eaten for the 40 days of Lent. My Dad 1940s, would have a basket from the Easter Bunny, one choco bunny and a choco egg. My generation 60s Bunny hid eggs. Basket contained skipping ropes or we got hoola hoop, a spring outfit by our choc bunny. As we can still have snow at Easter, our egg hunts always happened indoors. I would say chocolate may have existed for centuries but North American commercialization made it what we know today. Each generation piles on more egg-stravagence than b4. Thank u for another fun video.
I loved when you gave the bunny poop to Jackson. His face was priceless. The wheels were turning🧠🤣🤣🤣
You cna change the egg hunt as they grow. Our Easter bunny writes clues inside the eggs that encourages reading "your next egg is where you take a bath", "your next egg can be found in a chilly spot".
My husband and I were also discussing the open field egg “hunt” this year - when I was a kid, we were hacking through underbrush, climbing on the roof, Army crawling through ditches… it was a HUNT lol!
Super super cute seeing the two of them laughing and playing together. Easter 🐣 is great.
Oliver’s laugh while in high chair sounded just like Jackson’s laugh….🦋
So great that you shared Easter with us! We really enjoy watching your beautiful family grow. Thanks so much❤ for
The couch bit is favorite part of every home vlog!
Mine too! They make me laugh so hard 😄 I just feel sorry for Tim’s arm holding up the camera the whole time 🤣
When Jackson got the bunny poop candy he had to think about it for a second then his smile is precious once he knew it’s a joke. So darn cute! What a great Easter! You’re truly blessed with a beautiful family. Keep making those memories!
If you do consider switching meal kits, I recommend Home chef.
I started with purple carrot, but the recipes started getting repetitive. After a little research, home chef popped up over and over again.
They have oven ready meals when you just throw it in a pot and let it cook, full meal kits, and even some express meals where it's ready in less then 20 minutes. And they're all delicious
I love how calm the videos are with toddlers ❤❤❤
“Never touch the dinosaur” is words wisdom for today! Kidding, Happy Easter all!
Enjoy seeing how big the boys are getting. They are so cute
Jackson and Oliver are adorable. Love your home vlogs. In Mexico we have Easter egg hunts the same way as in the USA.
Great video!! Love Oliver’s laugh and seeing him and Jackson playing together!
I love, love, love how y’all let Jackson have whatever favorite colors he wants!
I'm from Australia.
yes, there is a Easter egg hunt (for children), I gave my 96 year old mother a egg hunt, & put Easter displays in every room. I also watch the movie Peter cottontail. & (in Sydney, NSW), we have the Sydney royal Easter show. I go every year, & it's always been a family tradition.
thanks for showing me busch gardens & Disney.
thanks Pamela Tritton
I’m very thankful for the dinosaur that invented chocolate 💖🙏😍
Keep tradition of egg seeds outside- it is very sweet. It’s a tradition that the boys will cherish. A pair of cute rubber boots in the basket. -
As my 8-week old daughter sleeps on me for her nap, I take Tim’s scarcastic words to heart. “I’ll be so sad when he sleeps through the night” 😂❤
The Easter Bunny hides eggs, so nobody knows he’s been messing around with those chickens! 🐓🐇 🥚 29:52
I’m from The Netherlands. We hide chocolate eggs and children find them around the home/garden too. We do not really host those massive gatherings with kids.
Hiding eggs is an old European tradition that symbolizes the wish for a successful harvest.
Happy Easter, Trackers! Growing up, my family always died eggs with my grandma a few days before. Then, on Easter after church, we would have to hide in our rooms while the Easter bunny came and either hid the eggs inside the house or in the yard, depending on the weather. That's how we did our Easter egg hunt. We also did Easter baskets that always had a stuffed animal inside it.
What a nice family. Thanks for sharing.
I love watching these videos, just real life Tim and Jen! Such good parents doing the best for their kids, making memories! We have Easter egg hunts in NZ, similar to what you do for Jackson, outside, but ours are in fall so we also get the dew on the grass. My two always get new gumboots(sorry not sure what you call them) from the bunny on Easter morning.
Jackson’s reactions to his gifts are absolutely precious!
Happy Easter Tracker family. Oliver is doing so good walking. The boys are so cute.
Seeing Jenn's work chair cushion made me realize i've been using mine backwards this whole time lol
I love your couch chats! For next Easter plant the “seeds” outside but leave a note for the bunny asking him to hide them inside.
Happy Easter Tracker Family!!! 🐣
My family always color-coded our eggs-- each person had their own color and a set number. Plus a special rabbit with a bow that matched our color would be a special gift. After everyone found all of their assigned color there was a free-for-all all colored egg we could go after.
Now the fun begins- love the babies but kiddos are so much fun.
Happy Easter Trackers!! Love your Easter traditions 🐣🐰 Oliver walking is the cutest. Such a big boy now 💙
Jackson’s facial expressions during the Easter baskets lol
I love how close in age Oliver and my niece are. It's fun to see them hitting the same milestones just a couple weeks apart! It was sooo cute to watch my niece walking around for the first time when I was home this past week
I love this thanks for sharing your life with us seeing Oliver walk from one day to the next reminds me that life and tiny little boys are so strong
Your kids are so adorable. Thanks for sharing. My kids are all grown up and I miss celebrating these holidays with them as young kids.
U2 are such wonderful parents. May God keep blessing you and your family.
Jackson has so much energy! I think you need to set up a creative obstacle course through the house!
Happy Easter Tracker Family!
Happy Easter to you all 🐣 xx
I love ur Easter traditions. I love watching how u guys spent Easter. It looked like the kids had fun.
My daughter requested the Easter bunny leave eggs inside the house instead of outside. A year or two ago the squirrels got a hold of some of the eggs so my daughter said no more outside 😂
Watching from the UK and my 11 year old daughter is now contemplating whether or not she wants to risk eating the jelly beans and eggs the Easter bunny left her - in case he's just pooped the jelly beans out and put some in a bag and then grown her eggs from the rest of his poop 💩 😂😂
Some people race for eggs and do egg hunts in the UK - the Easter Bunny is too tired to do that when he gets to our house.
Have a good day guys and happy Easter
Happy Easter! I went to a kid egg hunt last year with my then 2 year old. It was aggressive and chaotic and over in less than 5 minutes. This year we stayed home and did our own thing.
Easter 🐣 looked like a wonderful day!! Thanks for sharing the fun experiences!
Wow what a lovely family I just love watching yall .beautiful family
I so love your Easter vlog! And so excited Oliver is such a good walker!
So cute. Y'all are 5 steps ahead. Love it❤️
You guys bring me so much joy.
PS - I also absolutely LOVE your parenting style! I hope to be the same with my daughter ❤
LMAO I always say I don’t think Tim likes the vegan meals but he’s a team player 😂. Easter egg hunts are the same where I live. It’s pure chaos if your not fast you don’t get much
In the uk we do Easter egg hunts too, for older kids some ppl sent clues out to find the next egg. We also have big eggs (bigger than the size of ur hand) made from different chocolate companies, cadburys, galaxy, nestle etc and that is what we gift to each other.
Awww Jen’s face when they talked about not needing the play area fence. I never wanted to hug her so much! Don’t worry, you have so much kid stuff yet to do and between your kids and the cousins….grand babies will be so fun! (there see… I mentioned grand babies and now you can be like whoa slow down😉) i absolutely loved watching Jackson and Oliver enjoy Easter. You are so lovely to share these moments with us. It puts me in a good mood for the rest of the day!!🧡🖤🧡
Love our LG washer and dryer!! The washer is even Bluetooth 😱. When our kids were little but both egg hunting Easter Bunny hid eggs in the house. He also put initials on the eggs so each child was assured to get enough eggs. We had one child who would have grabbed all the eggs in their “egg-citement”
this is my first video hearing jackson speak. i haven’t watched y’all’s videos in a while. let’s just say someone’s cutting onions.
I still miss Plated. That was my favorite one.
Loved hearing Oliver’s giggle. 💚 And Jenn made me laugh with the house/avocado toast thing and singing the Easter facts. (I was making the music noises along with her. 😂) The night sofa conversations are the best.
Every Easter Eve, my daughter will "plant" jelly beans in the flower bed and then on Easter morning, lollipops grow where she planted the jelly beans. Sometimes, the Easter bunny puts the lollipops inside plastic eggs and the stick pokes out of one of the holes of the plastic egg. The stick is the "stem" that grows out of the dirt.
I loved the expression on Oliver’s face when he was eating his Easter treat 😂 Are we sure he likes them?…lol 🤣
Glad you had a nice Easter! 🐣🐰Thanks for sharing 💖
In Scotland when we were kids, we painted hardboiled eggs then rolled them down a hill.
We are from the UK and yes we do Easter Egg hunts. My parents did them for me when I was little so around 20 years ago. Now we all do them as a family and you can also pay at events to do them too! 😊
Idea for next year's inside egg hunt/jelly bean planting. Get a bunch of tiny planter pots and use those to plant the "seeds" on Good Friday. Then the seeds grow overnight into the egg. On Saturday, the kids pick the eggs and put them in their baskets. The bunny hides those eggs inside on Easter Eve for the kids to find on Easter morning.
Such a sweet Easter family video and Jen love your honest reviews .
Happy Easter Tracker family.
Bless him, I love how excited he was over his water bottle 😊
my favorite vlog moments are when Tim hypes up Jenn and her beauty ❤ always puts a smile on my face! they're so made for each other
Oliver's facial expression to all of the presents are so cuuute! 😂
I love you guys!!! I have to watch every video! 💜
God is good. Happy Easter! Thank you for sharing your day-such a sweet family🐇. My kids are all older so it’s fun to see your boys enjoy their day.
It's great seeing the boys having fun on their Easter egg hunt. Also, here in UK I've been to many hunts, and the kids go crazy here as well
This was so great luv these vlogs. Tim was so funny, about sleeping thru the night😂. Happy Easter and The boys are the best😊
Happy Easter Tracker Family.. looked like a good time ☺️🌷🐣🐰
YOU have a family of CARDINALS in your yard! ❤
It is so nice to see them enjoying themselves 😊. And I finally saw Oliver’s two deciduous 🦷 he is so adorable him and Jackson. Can’t wait for the other cruise, Vlogs 🚢🚢🚢🚢
Ya'll are hilarious on the couch!!😂
We definitely do egg hunts in Scotland but it’s more of a recent thing. When I was a kid we used to roll hard boiled eggs down a hill (I think representing the stone rolling away from Jesus’s tomb).
"The juice made by the Cuties and the cutie that made the juice" PERFECTION!!
Happy Easter! 🐣
Congrats Oliver! Big boy now. Soon two buddies running around the house 😂
Happy belated Easter!
Yeah, Im British and we have always done easter egg hunts for the kids! But i do think its kinda a new thing to do, as i dont remember doing it myself when i was small. I always thought it was an "American" thing? LOVE Olivers little face when he tasted the chocolate...he didnt look impressed haha.
Looks like you have so much fun.
I didn’t get a chance to comment on yesterday’s video, just finished this one right now, and wanted to add that our family has used speed, queen, washer, and dryer for the past 10 years and absolutely love them! The other thing that is amazing is the lifespan of these machines is much longer than any other brand. When we purchased ours, we were told these are built to last more like the washer and dryer of our grandparents. Hope you guys find exactly what works for your family!
I can't believe how much the kids are growing up and it's lovely to see this as I feel we're all family :)
Is it funny that Jen and Tim weren't recommending "Hello Fresh" but I got an ad for them in this vlog? Also agree that have a few experiences with the food not being fresh etc (and I'm in Australia).
Happy Easter from the UK! I love your videos. What if next year, if you have to move your egg hunt inside, you place the jellybeans at the windows and/or door(s), and then the Easter Bunny plants the eggs around the house. My sister does something like this for her children in Japan, as they live in an apartment.
I'm from the Netherlands. I've never done an easter hunt in a field. On easter morning we searched for eggs in the house (our where tiny chocolate ones in bright aluminium packaging) we brought them to a central point and it was divided equally. We don't do easter baskets but sometimes there was a chocolate bunny hidden with the eggs.
So sweet of Jackson to say want to show Mommy , her favorite color 😊
Meal subscription talk - I think it all depends on your subscription company’s distribution site. We have had great quality ingredients with Hello Fresh here in Houston this year. Back in 2021 we tried Marley and Spoon and had some with poor quality.
Explorers found the Aztecs eating strange brown stuff made form a bean. It was first introduced into Europe in the 1500s
"I'm just showing mommy it's her favorite color". When Jackson saw the orange egg. Such a sweet caring boy you've raised
