This is my no.1 game of all time (I'm serious) and I've played many games both old and new, i.e: FF 6-12, witcher3, MGS, Pokemon, DQ, MH series, Soul series, Nier, HZD, RE, and many more. HystEric Animations where do you get the moldy meat? I just want to complete the game 100% 🙁 i just can't get my digimon sick otherwise. My tamer lvl is 8 and i'm playing the PAL version. Also i can't beat the monochromon shop. It's just weird. Other than that i have all digimon and beaten every tournament.
theres a few places you can get it, a guaranteed way is to duplicate the Steak you pickup for Myotismon in Overdell Cemetery, if you pick it up, go inside the Mansion and back out again, you can pick it up twice, use one for Myotismon and the second to poison your Digimon. Alternatively you can get one from a vending machine in Ancient Dino Region, it has a chance to drop "Steak" which is Moldy Meat,
thanks a lot! getting digimon sick is so hard. the game's paper manual says digimon can get sick if i don't let it sleep but it didn't work. He just stayed up all night and decided "well i'm not sleepy anymore" :D and wandering around in the freezeland don't do anything. maybe it has a RNG or something I also tried the trash mountain it didn't get him sick either. the happy meter is flashing indicating he doesn't like what's going on but yeah. But yeah first i should complete the game before even trying to speedrun it :DD
I knew one bonus condition to get Bakemon is to let your digimon die but I thought it wa champion, not rookie. I also heard you can also get SKullgreymon by letting either your Greymon or Metalgreymon lose a battle There are many bonus digvolutions. I dunno them all but some others Ive confirmed are that have a 30-50% chances of happening: Monochromon from any rookie that has 500 def stat Airdramon from Birdramon or Seadramon that sleeps with 100% dicipline and tiredness at 0 Devimon is a flat out 50% chance to get him if your Angemon loses a battle Vademon once your champion lives for over 300 hours. In Factorial Town, the Guardromon in the far back of the factory is a friendly one and can change your partner Mamemon or Piximon into a MetalMamemon. There is a small RNG chance it will turn into Giromon instead. Also, that same guy, is the only non boss that knows fully potential. But to get him to fight you, you have to talk to the other, non friendly digimon in the same room and hope the friendly Guadromon is onscreen so you can face him too.
nah its a setup for something we call fast catch, i position myself in a pretty precise spot and once seadramon bites i hold X to pull him in before he struggles
as you can see in the video, i take 2 full steps up and 3 walking steps (holding R1) to the right which puts me in a very precise spot to clip through the trigger for the invisible bridge, while its a helpful trick to allow us to do Monochromon and Birdramon earlier than intended, it doesn't stop us from having to trigger the bridge later as you can't activate Ogremon 1 without having crossed the bridge normally
thats cuz he mostly just fought bosses and certain bosses drop certain chips. regular enemies dont drop them. check out some item guides on drops or whatever.
its been considered, but mostly a no-go due to going out of the way to sleep at Kunemon's bed then back through the loading screens to Green Gym, compared to just training 18 times, also the fact you need to reach Day 15 anyways for Vegiemon
i don't get it. Trying with savestates, the game literally prevents you from matching 3 at the training bonus try sometimes. Does that no apply to golden poop, or does that only happen in specific versions
you are right, the game does prevent you from hitting 3 in a row of anything if you dont have the luck, its 10% chance you can hit 3 golden poops in a row on all versions, this run uses something called RNG Manipulation to guarantee the 10% chance 9 times in a row, this doesnt make it free to achieve tho, i still gotta hit the timing on every slot without failing a single time
I used to think for a while what price to give other digimon at the monochrome shop minigame when I could've just spammed X until the last digimon then offered stuff at a normal price 4Head
there's a thin gap you can go through to bypass the trigger that stops you from crossing which you can see me sort of setting up for, this is actually slower to do so the current route doesnt do it anymore
Well Bakemon can enter Greylords naturally, but with Ice Sanctuary its very much like what i did to get on the invisible bridge without talking to Yuramon, theres a thin 1 pixel wide gap between the trigger that blocks you from entering and the loading zone, which with a precise setup (as seen in the video) i can walk between them and enter the area with any type of Digimon, this gives a big timesave as Bakemon is the type of Digimon that has a high-chance to cause Hyogamon to flee from battle
each Digimon in the game has a type such as Data, Virus etc, think of it like Pokemon with Super effective types, Bakemon is "super effective" to the Hyogamon, giving them a high chance to flee

for practice i use PSXfin(pSX) 1.13 with SCPH7003, which gets me the same RNG :), its just not allowed for runs as it runs slightly faster than console (faster loading etc)

Please explain to us the random patterns for Piximon, Metalmamemon and Mamemon, as it seems you do some very specific things, causing them to always appear exactly when you want to.
actually its RNG(different to luck), and very easily manipulated RNG, in answer to your question SebaOutbreak, i reset the console in a specific spot using the sleep save function, this resets the RNG of the game to the default starting value, from there ill do certain inputs to change the RNG to a specific value that causes Piximon, Mamemon and MetalMamemon to spawn
I love this game forever. But some question : 1. How to bug drimogemon without throwing trash to outside? Its very boring do that 2. In shellmon place. How can you get shellmon very fast? I always back to again n again 3. I never seen devimon in greylord. Which one to see devimon in grey lord? After battle machinedramon or before? 4. When to get frigimon, i always back again in rookie or champion digimon that have weakness for ice. Its wasting time 5. Can i get Master Tyrannomon as friend? 6. I have been my friend playing this game. I see, sukamon in city, have stick for toilet. Is it true? I have finish this game and get 100 PP. My last Digimon is H-Kabuterimon. And have battle with Machinedramon 3times at different place 😊
if you get figimon. you should be come to birdamon and come to ice santuary, when you finished inside., stay at out gate and feed them by blody meat. it get be sick and figimon come help you

Means how far ahead i was at each part of the run, for example -2:42 is 2 minutes and 42 seconds ahead of my old run 2:51:03
