This game got me through a TOUGH time in my life. I won't spill the tea, but for a time, due to a nasty divorce between my parents and being away from my possessions for awhile, a PSone with portable screen and GBA2 were the only video game I had. It'll always have a place in my heart.
I feel for you. Divorce is never any fun. So very glad that you have a release and an outlet. Most parental decisions are made without taking the children into consideration at all and most parents horrifically use the kids as pawns/or turn them against the other parent. All the best. Take care.

I still remember spamming Wing's HP neutral attack and they don't know how to block at all xD This game is awesome. Funny thing is, my uncle bought this disc in a local game store and the disc was incorrectly titled 'Transformers' with a marker LMAO
@@traidahhsien7378 I wouldn't say the Nu Gundam was super strong, but its Fin Funnels were indestructible unlike most other funnel-type weapons in the game, so they could actually block projectiles for you. I guess they thought it was strong enough as is because of that.
Do the Burning Finger, the Burning Finger must hit successfully on enemy then do the Heat End move. Only selected mobile suits will work this combo, but if you want to do to all mobile suits, first make sure stun them from behind and do Heat End Combo it guarantee works.
I loved this game, and it was one of the few, ever, that I could beat any character with any character. I wish there was a league or something to see if I'm still as good as I remember.

I've been thinking about how much a gundam game could really fit into the Battlefront II model of game, the only problem being their isn't a corresponding faction for the base grunts (Zaku/Leo) to face off against
Deathscythe was actually beast if you knew how to control him, mostly because 80% of his attacks were unblockable. Of course this made it easy to fight if you knew how because there was a side dodge that could avoid his attacks.
The hardest part of remembering these character names is keeping track of which ones put Gundam before their name, and which ones put it after. I've never understood why this series makes that so inconsistent.
They kinda used them interchangeably. Like Sandrock Gundam is also called Gundam Sandrock in other media while Burning/God Gundam remains as it is in the Mobile Fighter G Gundam series. Then we have Maxter.
That's Battle Assault 1 where the Wing Gundam was just a Zeta reskin to appeal to Americans. Wing never does what you're describing, hell it doesn't even transform in Endless Waltz.

Slightly irked that the RX-78-2 is called “Gundam” by the announcer. Like, I know it’s _the_ definitive Gundam that everyone knows and loves, but c'mon, it has a designation and it’s literally shown when you select it

The hardest one to beat was Pyscho Gundam and the 2 hardest to do it with (in other words, the worst characters) were Ball and Gundam Rose. The most OP characters were Dark Gundam (retardedly broken with its unblockable lazers), Heavyarms Custom, Full Armor Double Zeta Gundam and Gundam Physalis

When I played this when I was kid I only knew Wing and so I was always dumbfounded on how rx 79 dealt so much damage with gundam hammer :D
