Cheers !!! Whatever you mentioned was exactly a Indian National award winner DP had told in an interview ...when you have the technology ( auto focus or vfx or whatever ) to create an image why not use it. Its just about how much to use and when to use.

Thanks Sandile, that means so much to me!
You are the best, dude!
I'm working on A7C, and that's motivates me a lot. I have one question, wich seetings do you use in the picture profile?
Nice work again, very impressed with how well you hand hold and move with the camera without a gimbal. Maybe a video on getting stable shots and how much you do in post vs in camera?
Thanks Chris! I hope to make a tutorial like that soon, so important!
Great explanations!
Thanks Thomas!
Thank you very much man!
You're welcome, thanks for watching!
you made this a year ago but it is timeless.. going to film a doc on a chef tomorrow & so glad to come upon your video again.... Appreciate that you share so much....

Nice vid thanks ! How do you have that stabilization without any gimbal ?
One of the amazing b roll brother 🔥
Brother thank you! So happy to get your feedback!
now this is a true cinematic cooking ad. not just camera angle tricks. the story telling is 🔥🔥
Really glad to hear that you enjoyed the story-telling and the visuals. Appreciate the comment! 🔥
I wish I needed more subscribers on my channel, so everyone would see the bunch of videos I had ever created. These videos made something for me to become a videographer who had filmed the footage and made the B-roll before shooting.
Awesome video man. I would like to try one of these videos for practice.
Thanks man, hope these tips help!
beautiful work...!!!!!
so nice!!✨✨
from JAPAN!
Your comment is much appreciated, thanks for the encouragement!
Awesome video! I will be shooting something very similar tomorrow and you just give me inspiration, thank you! Will let yo know how I get on.
Great timing! Good luck and thank you so much for the kind words. 😊
Love to see the color grading breakdown of this video. the colors remind of chef's table
Thanks a ton! I actually didn't grade much on this one, I used a picture profile to give me a finished look and just did some WB and Contrast correction. Main reason for that was to keep the noise floor down for shooting in low light.
@@jacques_crafford Did you use cine2 for this video?
Hi, please can you share what equipment you use for editing such as your computer and monitor, and which is best to use for video and photo editing. Thank you😊
Благодаря вашим роликам многое узнал, это вам спасибо большое за ролики 🙌
I am so happy to hear that, thanks for your kind words!

Yus bra dankie ou, so bly om te hoor jy hou daarvan! Eks keen maar ek gaan dalk volgende week sin skip en dan weer aangaan na dit.
Thank you !!
So stoked thanks for watching!
Hey lovely tutorial. I have perticular questions. How did you manage to get that golden yellow light from the nanlight tube. If you could share WB in camera and light temperature will be great. 3:14
I have to say this bts shots as good as A roll👍
Thanks man, my friend Andre Mostert is a great shooter and it's a privilege getting BTS from him. Here's a link to his work motioncraftfilms.co.za
i really hope to get my first gig as restaurant commercial filmmaker and use all what you shared! Thank you so much
Wow, that is very exciting. Best of luck and thanks for watching! 🙏
Love the colors. Can you share how did you get it to look like that from the camera setting to finish in post?
Thanks a ton! This look was almost 100% in-camera using just the picture profile at PP Off with some small correction in post for WB
hope more tutorials.great chanel
Yay thank you! LOTS MORE COMING :)
without a gimbal 4k 100 fps! looks so nice. can i ask which camera is that? i have sony a 7 iii, can able to record just 1080 p on the 100 fps unfortunately. thx
Keep it up Jacques!
Shot dude!
Amazing! I'm just starting out as a videographer and want to focus on becoming an expert at 1 thing at a time, and commericl food and products fliming is what I want to start with. I love the way you get down, and I'm sure I will learn so much from you, I don't if you have a video already like this, but i'd truly appreciate it if you can suggest the very basic gear I would need to do something like this food video. I'm planning on buying the FX3 other than that, I need guidance on what else.
Thanks mate, glad I can help. I'll do a gear video sometime going forward :)
I've got no idea how only have 67k subs mate, your incredible you deserve a lot more. Instant sub.
Keep up the tutorials as I'm a beginner and these sorts of videos are incredibly helpful!
Thanks Daniel, really appreciate it! I only started "doing TH-cam" last year so I've got some catching up to do :)
@@jacques_crafford well I’m excited to see all the awesome content you put out!

Obviously subscription done 👍🏻
Yay thanks Erik, that means so much to me! Appreciate you taking the time to write this. Hope you like the videos to come, I just posted one! Ciao!
Dankie Jacques!
Yaas ou plesier man! Dankie vir jou ondersteuning!
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge is such a efficient and compact way. So glad that I found your channel!
One question: I was wondering how much wattage do you need for that style of key lighting? what fixture were you using?
Thanks man that means a lot to me, it's only a pleasure! You can get away with a 120w or 300w Led for your Keylight. Fill light could even by a reflector if you don't have a second light. In this video I used the Aputure 300d for Keylight and the Godox 60B for Fill light.
Awesome video, awesome tips, awesome awesome.. Am a new subscriber on your channel.. Keep it up!
From Singapore
Whooooohooooo thanks Muhammad, appreciate your kind words and support!
Great content!
So appreciate thank you!
Look awesome
Thanks Daniel!
Look amazing...what fps did u use for most of the parts ?
24 to 70 gm ii is the best sony lense for anything video other than close ups of people 50 mm1.2 for that
Your video are awesome. You help me a lot with my video!
Yay so happy to hear that thank you Foa!
Another Great Video! How you can control zoom and focus at same time in 4:11? Tried it with AF, it was not possible 😢. How you keep focus in this situation? Whats the secret?
That's such a coincidence that a year ago I shot a food commercial with Sony A7S III, with a zoom 16-35 G lens mostly at 2.8 and with 2 layers of diffusion as well. :) Missed the focus sometimes, so need to practice more, but overall I was quite surprised with the results! Great video, thank you!
Hehe great minds! Thanks Maxim your support is greatly appreciated!
