This was a fun fight, for reference we first completed this run on the eternal realm before Season 2 started.
After around 20 hours we did the same thing on the seasonal realm :)

In their defense they probably didnt have such insane gear/build. But also judging from their promo videos it doesnt surprise me :)
Between all of the bleed, burn, stuns and poison procs. This truly isn't surprising. In PoE the "top farmers" aren't ever soloing. You have 2 aura botters, an aggro tank and then the actual dps and it goes even faster than this. So an average team, with average players, with recent gear (not months of grind) certainly would go differently.
@@Flourikumalright you have no idea what you are talking about in relation to poe, theres one aurabot, the second one you are probably thinking of a curse bot and i have no idea what an aggro tank is
Also, unless you mean pure item generation without considering loot splitting, solo players can easily generate more money than individual party members
@choke- Usually it's 2 aurabots seeing that aura botting been nerfed into the earth, but if your dps is say a ranger you'll need 2 for survivability and simply extra damage. A jug that simply there to taunt and debuff anything around them. If you're an rf inquisitor frankly farm by yourself if built correctly. This is also more directed at hc maxed farming so you have cushion. If you are sc just about anything can farm just different builds do a hell of a lot better than others.
I can't wait for streamers to stop beating this dead horse of a game.

You do know same thing happens in poe on pinnacle bosses right? People with BIS gear blowing up bosses like it's nothing because that's what ARPGS are supposed to do.
@@recaster1165 Usually those bosses have oneshot mechanics, even uber lillith an clown tier boss had those. All i saw here was when facetanking the singular mechanic it takes 33% hp lmao

Depends on expectations, guy is running in a party of 4 with all near bis gear. If they didn't delete him it would be impossible for the average player to beat it.

@@zgedge6473 Again that is based on expectations. During the livestream they clearly said Duriel will be easier than Lilith. They also said they want Lilith to be killable with many types of builds and that her power level would become lower. Duriel is not a pinnacle boss like Lilith. He is an endgame farmable boss.

I know bone spear is broken and all but Duriel doesn't really look like a high end boss.
So Ubers in d2 could get clapped in seconds (much faster than this) by one character. Ain't noone in the history of games have said Ubers are too easy. You just don't realize how good gear these guys have.

Yeah thought that too! Even though they might be OP, in D2, Duriel was fast as hell, while he moved and attacked and had an ice-aura which reduced the speed of the player! All that in a tiny cave!

d2 duriel was incredibly bad designed, the whole fight took place in a tiny room, boss is fast af and you cant even kite him. Arguably the worst boss fight in d2, pure gear check and teleport abuse

This is the exact reason why seasonal content shouldn’t transfer to eternal realm until end of season. Disappointing people can farm this on OP characters until they understand the ins and outs, drop rates exc. sucks to see.

@@kangaroopete6905 how is that not a good reason? Allowing fully min/max’d lvl 100’s to do new seasonal content on day 1 ruins the surprise and the reason to play a season. Most of the pull of seasonal content is being able to play through and discover. Imagine the rush of doing a endgame boss and him dropping you a Uber unique when you didn’t know that the drop rate was so high. Totally changes the experience in my opinion.

he should probably scale to have a significant amount of extra health per player added. I also feel like everyone thinks they are this good at the game when in reality they will probably just get shit on with one hit.
Diablo 4 is pretty mediocre. The graphics are okay, but the story, characters, gameplay, progression is all meh. They basically pulled a Disney and relied entirely on nostalgia for Diablo 2 to carry it.
Season 2 made it closer to D2. Both still have no endgame.
The story was okay, the only character I actually remembered by the end was Lilith none of the humans lmao

Blizzard hard coded 925 item power drops. I literally just started playing and one of the first items i found was a 925 item power staff. I have not found this in the months playing before.

This encounter looks like it's designed by someone who just woke up from a 20-year coma. This looks less inspiring than a mid level boss in an MMO dungeon.
One thing is funny, there are many people that just talk about how terrible Diablo 4 is but then they still only play Diablo 4.

As someone who's been keeping an eye on diablo but never played it, why does this boss look like Nurgle from warhammer and why he only throws some fireballs and rolls around?
It's easy cus they know majority of their playerbase is gamer dads instead of juicers like in lost ark
ok so the biggest problem with last season was not enough content and nothing to do end game.
so this season they added a couple things but also made it WAY easier to level and get gear...
seems like an oxymoron to me. typical short term satisfaction but long term pain.
when people are max level and have bis gear in the first week... thats not a good thing.
especially when the biggest problem was nothing to do at the end. lol idk why everyone is saying this season feels so much better. you get to end game faster.. thats it.

Rob made first 100 on softcore in group, but what's funny about that is that while that is normally a knock against a player....he basically min/maxed the leveling experience. Wudi got first 100 as HCSSF beat Raxx by 14 levels. But Rob and the rest of this group smashed through all the content before Wudi hit 100. Which was 20 hours and 35 minutes. So this group here is no joke. Watch their stream, that's how you melt the game, not playing repeatitve dungeons on hardcore solo
If you think playing non stop with no real life is an accomplishment you need help. No one cares about “melting” a game lmao
@MrDyssonance apparently people do though. That's why there are career streamers with a captive audience. My point was that Rob and his team got to 100 even faster than Wudijo. They did that by not playing on hardcore and playing in group. Which means they weren't playing under the most difficult circumstances. They demonstrated that by leveraging the group mechanic on softcore that you could achieve end game content quicker.
Basically, you can still be a casual softcore player and progress to endgame ; "melt" the game.
I get that they are top tier... but how exactly are you trying to argue that it's more impressive to play with a fully buffed 4-man group than it is to do the same thing all by yourself..? They are stronger, safer, and faster in every way playing together versus someone solo. Not to mention, they get a huge group XP bonus, so there's absolutely no reason they shouldn't crush someone playing without the extra XP boost.
@KingJerbear was saying that it was optimal, not most impressive. You misunderstood. They were demonstrating that you don't have to play hardcore and solo to still leverage what the game has to offer. So much focus on HCSSF runs but the optimal game play is still softcore 4 man groups using meta builds

A game made easier for casual gamers. When the casual players find this out they will come running back to Diablo 4 in droves.
Me and my sorcerer ball lightning build killed them when he was 85 and me 89 lol, ball lightning build is so broken LOL, so only 2 guys for Duriel, we just need to grind the summon items

Then I think about how many times Asmon got deleted and wiped the whole raid.
Then I think about how much money he spent in that game.
Then I laugh. It's great to know there are developers out there that know how to make challenging content no matter how BiS or overgeared you are.
Lost ark is fundamentally different though and things are balanced in a MUCH different way, tbh I don't even consider lost ark an arpg in the classic sense that diablo/path/last epoch are

Fun fact I bought the previous season with 2800 platinum and its the new season and i still dont have the platinum making my 40 dollar purchase worthless considering how mid last season was, made a ticket about it and they reached out to basically said sorry sucks to suck no refunds you will get it whenever you get it 🤷🤣 im not supporting blozzard anymore after that

Hello everyone, I have a problem with Diablo 4, I bought it on Steam, updated everything, and launched it. Nothing lags, there are no errors, but the problem is that there is no voice acting for the characters or the narration. There are sound effects of impacts, steps and TDs. But there is no voice acting, neither Russian nor English, please help, thank you

Duriel isn't a uber boss. Diablo 4 only has one uber. The developers said that, but no one ever listen to what they say. That why everyone was surprised after the last live stream when they talked about changes they've talked about for months.
Honestly most poe bosses are on just the same level with a bit of gear. Its so brain dead...

in PoE i am doing white maps while people already killing shaper, sirus etc. easily. and when I am doing it easily, casuals are in white maps. so its all about knowledge and time spent + luck obviously to get to this point fast

Andariel is the Act Boss of the first act of Diablo II and is found on the fourth level of the Catacombs i knew the anadariel's reference to diablo 2 hahaha

I was wondering why anyone would bother playing eternal realm ever again.
I find it so funny to see how gamers nowadays are driven by “drops” instead of fun gameplay, immersion and a great time “playing” the game.

the drops are the entire reward component of the fun gameplay... having good gameplay with zero chase or reward is boring as fuck
which is something that d4 doesnt bring to the table ( unless its the first arpg that you've played )

I liked the video. Asmond nice job in explaining durial survival rate under there conditions. Maybe to them it was easy but they tanked up and deserve to kill it that fast. Will take us a while to get that but it's doable. It's nice to know that feeling will be there at the end. Nice job blizzard and good example of what a few strong builds can do. I fealt durial survived quite well considering there strength. Looked as asmond said looked fine
bro it would be easy for anyone, they nerfed every difficulty in this game by a lot
@LilCarterJ yes the rebalanced it after putting vulnerable in the additive box. All builds now run the same basically with 4 main damage multipliers and one box additive one. The monsters were then rescaled back so the weakest builds and strongest builds are much closer together. Don't see it as a nerf. See it as a much needed rework. The builds affected feel like they working better. For me I see it as a win. An exploit should never be knocked when devs remove. Unless it fundamentally alters the state badly. So far none of the changes blizzard have made (except patch 1) have negatively affected the game. We getting allot of wins. Many feel it feels like a diablo game again and I couldn't agree more
I went back to my bone spear thinking it was dead. Tested it and it feels more or less the same
I'm going to relook at my pulverize with the overpower changes. If it works I'll build on it

As everythign in this game now is way more easy since the rework : xp is way way way faster, player are more tanky and deal more damage.

Seeing how bland this fight is and with no vamp powers. I'm out. Knew this season was gonna be garbage. Even with "bis" gear. This just shows how ez this will be with decent gear and vamp powers.
