I go the motto: “No loot left behind!” I don’t care if I have to make multiple trips, I will happily pick up everything and take it to storage, and sort through it later, my last two tabs are used only for loot I pick up either in Helltide, Nightmare Dungeons, regular dungeons, well, any loot out in the world, so basically *ALL LOOT!* lmao
the amount of chatters at the end saying "bad game design" bro, scaling to the moon is always the dream in games like this. ARPGs and Elden Ring alike, oneshotting powerful bosses is the pinnacle chase.
Yeah getting beefy to the point where you can basically steamroll the game is kind of the point of ARPGs. Which is why level scaling and unnecessary caps on things just feel bad.
not really true. it's the journey, too. in d2 you could find interesting and dynamic unique items while levelling. you didnt steamroll everything till max level. devs at blizz still have no clue
@@majesticfool Couple things: a) I said oneshotting bosses is the "pinnacle chase," not the entire point. What part of that is "not really true?" b) I'm not talking about leveling. c) A game released 24 years ago works differently? Shocking.

Love how people still try to flood the chats and comments with D4 bad/trashgame and so forth. They can't even bring themselves to have an open mind to even reconsiders their initial take on the game. like D4 season 4 is out "OMG IM TRIGGERED!! BAD GAME, D4BAD. TRASH GAME, SIS MEN CAN MENSTRUATE, I LOVE LAMP!!!!"
I wish they put a Lobby for finding parties for Pit and Nightmare Dungeons, coz like me, I don't usually add random players 😬. It's not I don't want too.
my issue with d4 at launch... i got to endgame by killing mobs in open world.. no dungeon farming, boss farming, daily farming. i got end game gear thru open world mobs. the loot system was randomized throughout the entirety of the reward systems/loot drops..
I like d4 in season 4. But what I don't like is that you already got the gear you need 2 levels in on every 20th level or so. I haven't changed much of my equip from lvl 62 - 80 because I don't have to. So the looting is kinda useless every 20lvl-gap, but atleast helltides is fun pwning around in.
The thing is we actually liked it at launch but that first season was terrible, the game still has issues too. The eternal realm is basically unplayable, you’re forced to make a new character every season
Games released a mess/unfinished/un-optimised, taking a year plus to get to how they should have been on release is the problem. Preordering and day one is the problem. Idiots defending scumbaggery is the problem. It's only enabling the AAA studios to continue down this road since the validation their getting from those defending the indefensible is making it worse and worse. If people controlled their impulse and stopped allowing this by not preordering or day one, studios would lose a huge chunk of their profits and would change, but the majority don't care and won't..... until the industry collapses, and will naively wonder why it happened!!
I love the leveling process, but he's saying he doesn't like leveling because at low level you are strong enough to beat monsters 20 levels hgher. I agree with that meaning. Also yellow items do have value, find one that's got better stats than your current legendary gear and then make those better yellows new legendaries with your codex of aspects.
I’m actually giving it a try since season 1.. I do like Helltide monster density increase. But item and costume variations still seem weak to me. We’ll see how long I’ll level up this go round.
I leveled with charge leap kick hota and the aoe ultimate, pretty fun so far, pass to wt3 at lvl 42 with the random legendaries y picked up. If they go for the casual experience they're going on the right path.

I played at launch, and then this weekend I got a Necro to 100. But the issue is, the endgame is still so shallow. No activity outside of purely upgrading your gear another 5%. Still I was enjoying to level, and it was immensely better gearwise, even if it's still lacking. It did get me to think about D4 outside of playing a little bit, so like you, it also drew me in, but I already lack motivation to continue this build. Disclaimer; I am also one of those poe gamers, who am used to more depth.
this is what happens when you get indoctrinated by a terrible game being shit for multiple seasons. The moment they make it less shit, people actually think that its good, because they standarts are in the dumpster.
My worst gaming decision was to buy this game. After the campaign I really didn't see any purpose for playing, And you can;t play for just 2 hours and refund it, cause the campaign, which is the only worthy thing imo, lasts a lot longer.
What would you think about if blizzard introduced class armor sets? Collect 2/4/6/8 pieces and get a certain perk at each interval, now you'd have to do tree of whisper missions to earn currency in order to buy the sets of gear. Thoughts on this?
Bro, Rhykker was reading out and responding to 2 of my comments in this video! The one about gear having slightly updated appearances, and the thing about stealing something from Last Epoch.
@28:33 I'm sure glad someone gets it. Exactly right on the money. Some people just try to find OP/Optimal builds and that is strictly why they play and not just to run through the game. It's like a science to some people.
The items (and gold) are becoming more valuable. I hated D4 until this patch. Still pisses me off in certain ways (leveling too fast, white/blue/yellow no value, etc.) but you can see the pieces coming together. I'm having a lot of fun actually.
For those who aren't following the D4 updates since the release, how it's actually different from that time? I'm pretty sure that the game is just not for me (even though I liked and played a lot all prev D games) The reasons I stopped played D4 pretty early (I think I gave up on lvl 60 or something..) is because for me it was artificially overcomplicated and not rewarding at all (like you drop legendary, but its pretty much the same as your yellow from long ago)
Only issue which they’ve already partially addressed is the very late game gold grinding which we know they’re trying to figure out so that’s great already. Love it
I’m already hooked on FO76, Helldivers, and jump on OW from time to time. As a parent I have way less time for the grinding that’s needed for Diablo 4. I’m sure I’ll come back to the game maybe after a year or so when it’s hopefully more polished.
Ranged rogue feels nice to me. I've always wanted to play rapid fire so im glad they added a unique for it, and more synergistic aspects. not the best for screen clearing. you'd probably like running barrage.
What if they took rare items and gave them good stats and +skills far more often than legendary items? Uniques are kinda nerfed because you can't temper them, so I think they need to open tempering to uniques, and maybe to balance out rares and legendaries they should tweak and enhance the strength of tempering based on the rarity of the item. But yeah, if you could find a rare helm with +5 to a skill on it, or +3 to a group of skills, or a +1 or 2 to All skills, maybe you would consider using it over a legendary effect. But more likely you'd just throw a legendary effect on it anyway with the codex. Idk. Its a problem, I stopped picking up rares before I hit level 60.
I just started playing this season. Game is soulless, I feel like I"m walking around in a prop town. Levelling path seems like after you have all your abilities you're progressing much, sure I get really strong passives. But it doesn't feel like I'm progressing my character much. Still figuring out the gearing part and vendors.
Im playing the s4, havent touched it since the first and I am pleasantly surprised with it, crafting got much better, looting uniques and stuff are easier to get, stash space got solved, the gems and alot of other little details that should be in the game at launch. the bad part is builds are still very limited, and the level grind is now ok and you are stuck farming materials instead, hours and hours on pit and helltides and whispers to get some stuff to go kill boss to get stuff to go farm the bigger boss and eventually get a semi decent gear piece.. Its definitely much better but this is how it should have been at launch, it still has some annoying things like multiplayer is still optional, trade is non existent, and the material grind is horrible, and season pass forces you to play some stuff you might not like but Its an ok game now.. still miles from PoE or Last epoch but its now a valid option for more casual players.
poe is bad for being misleading too. the entire campaign is a cakewalk even for a tank but then the second you open your first map you're getting 86'd right the fuck out of existence on next to max resist
I mean he's entirely right, D4 is kinda eh, but if you think the ARPG experience doesn't come down to pressing 1-2 buttons tops, you ain't paying attention. Just played BAMA Necro in POE this past season, and man did I have a lot of fun pressing blink arrow, and then mirror arrow.
Blizzard can EAD. Don't care if returning to the game comes with a free max level character for the Season. Lots of people out there willing to settle for mediocre and half-baked goods and services. Good on their special little selves.
In regards to yellow items, blizzard should add a random stat to them when you imprint a legendsry aspect to it which then allows you to roll it to something important.
Thanks again for watching you Diablo 4 Gigachad!!! Hopefully I can afford the $120 Lilith only fans edition of the expansion now!

The amount gold you gain farming the Tree of Whispers is so much higher than loothing a full inventory of items, and, is faster

I'm playing Shadow Necro Minion build. Was slapping WT4 helltide at level 50 like a mofo. Loving it.
did you have to put any thought or effort into the build? did you know how minions scaled before copying the maxroll guide?
@@majesticfool Bro noone cares, just enjoy the game
@@majesticfool I'm new to the game. I didn't follow Maxroll. I'm using RageGaming build as a base but altering it based on my play style and preferences and trying new things. I'm learning as I go but making sure I scale everything for max shadow damage multipliers currently.
Diablo 4 players: "Why don't we have a social feature or group finder?"
Overwatch players: "Oh don't worry........we know you wont get it."
I never thought I’d touch D4 again but I gave it a shot. I’m actually enjoying it.
Please don’t hate me.
Its fine if people enjoy it. Just like some people think Walmart is the best retailer, and that ketchup belongs on steak. We call these people 'plebs' and they're as entitled to their opinions as anyone else, even if they're objectively wrong!

@@christianalanwilson434Dude, why are you commenting everywhere calling people stupid for liking D4? Not everyone has to have the same opinion

just gamer things
Great to hear you have regular bowl movement
Here's an unbiased opinion on D4: It sucked donkey nuts. It was so bad that after all of 4 hours of playing it I uninstalled it and never played it again. Every single one of you "reviewers" that said this was the next epic game, should be ratio'd and unsubb'd for your lies.
I smelt sarcasm and came running.
of course you did
Sarcasm
I'm really enjoying my time with D4 again, just wish my Steam Deck wasn't being RMA'd currently so I could play D4 while out and about. Barrage Rogue and Minion Necro are just so much fun at the moment. Especially the minion Necro, finally minions are worth something.
I just started playing, and I can't even get past the first task to get the weapon from the merchant in the beginning because the game is bugged on gamepass.
I actually liked D3 after reaper of souls.
I've been playing D4 season 4, after ditching it a month after release. It's a lot better, but I'm still undecided on if it's good
This is honestly the first season since the vampire one, that I like.
There was just one season inbetween
That means you've liked 50% of the seasons lol
not an achievement bro
Yeah I’ve liked about every other season. I didn’t say it to impress any of you, so 🤷♂️ thanks for commenting?
9:55 you are 100% right!
POE 2 only a few months away and we’re all counting down the days.
My favorite Diablo game of all time is POE!!!
Hopefully it's good the first one was a letdown

still playing D2:LoD offline on an old ass laptop 20+ years later and loving it.
I should try and get it on my steam deck, I miss that game.
Same here, I even downloaded the Median XL and Pluggy mods to spice it up

the amount of chatters at the end saying "bad game design" bro, scaling to the moon is always the dream in games like this. ARPGs and Elden Ring alike, oneshotting powerful bosses is the pinnacle chase.
Yeah getting beefy to the point where you can basically steamroll the game is kind of the point of ARPGs. Which is why level scaling and unnecessary caps on things just feel bad.
The originals games are better.
not really true. it's the journey, too. in d2 you could find interesting and dynamic unique items while levelling. you didnt steamroll everything till max level. devs at blizz still have no clue
@@majesticfool Couple things: a) I said oneshotting bosses is the "pinnacle chase," not the entire point. What part of that is "not really true?" b) I'm not talking about leveling. c) A game released 24 years ago works differently? Shocking.
I might try it again, never finished the story even because it was so bad, having to do the story again is definitly something holding me back of giving the game another try...
It's still bad. Chuck, sneed, dilate
The game is a live service and still not worth it.
But.....but it is a bad game though? Like why would they say anything different?
I wish they put a Lobby for finding parties for Pit and Nightmare Dungeons, coz like me, I don't usually add random players 😬. It's not I don't want too.
No thank you but no.Last chance was long long very long ago
my issue with d4 at launch... i got to endgame by killing mobs in open world.. no dungeon farming, boss farming, daily farming. i got end game gear thru open world mobs. the loot system was randomized throughout the entirety of the reward systems/loot drops..
So we left Beta testing, and we are close to the release build?
That's exactly what it is and BLIZZARD should be somehow punished for it.
Nailing it on the 4th patch of a $70 beta is actually pretty decent for blizzard.
The thing is we actually liked it at launch but that first season was terrible, the game still has issues too. The eternal realm is basically unplayable, you’re forced to make a new character every season
@@kylesawkon4074 yes seasons are just a gimmick to get you to play the same IP for a year and Buy microtransactions

Whatever you say, Activision fanboy.
Nothing about that gameplay looked fun or compelling
D3 fast lvling and high damage = d3 bad
D4 fast lvling and high damage = d4 good
really?
If you lads have gold problems, just do the tree of whispers and you'll get millions per turn in.
Or just sell gear simple as that made 250m off a triple GA pair of gloves for barb
Or just stop playing the game and solve all these problems at once.
@@christianalanwilson434why stop? Im having loads of fun
And watch those millions instantly disappear in 2 rerolls
I love the leveling process, but he's saying he doesn't like leveling because at low level you are strong enough to beat monsters 20 levels hgher. I agree with that meaning.
Also yellow items do have value, find one that's got better stats than your current legendary gear and then make those better yellows new legendaries with your codex of aspects.
When there’s a new class I play again. Otherwise I have no fomo
I’m actually giving it a try since season 1.. I do like Helltide monster density increase. But item and costume variations still seem weak to me. We’ll see how long I’ll level up this go round.
That barbarian clip he shows makes the game look boring as fuck.
I leveled with charge leap kick hota and the aoe ultimate, pretty fun so far, pass to wt3 at lvl 42 with the random legendaries y picked up. If they go for the casual experience they're going on the right path.
If you’re gonna make an op build you found online then yes the game will be boring, the only good thing about this season is you can make your own build and not feel useless
@@kylesawkon4074 exactly, let the pros do what they do, 80% of players just want to chill, its a pve for the love of god. Let us just be powerfull, there is a op build? Well good for u boy, do your thing.
@@FDx8500 the problem still lies with the eternal realm tho, in diablo 2 most people play eternal that’s the actual game essentially but they have the ladder that constantly updates and changes just like the seasonal stuff we have now. Except the eternal in D4 constantly changes every season too so there’s really no point in playing it
@@kylesawkon4074 true, it's their business model, why there is loot reborn? They want u to come back and play, why? Battle pass. How they sell u the battle pas? Seasonal characters. in my opinion, a bad game design, its old, they should have done something like cod, a whole year season with more seasons in it, Building ur character or armory or whatever over the year. What have they added over the last year? Nothing, nothing new. Its premeditated laziness.
I play a Dagger Rogue, I feel very lonely, especially during World Boss Raids or other events, on various levels.
Great DPS versus single targets
Never caught an asmon video this early
I'm good maybe I'll come back for the expansion but seasons haven't added enough and I'm bored of the current class options.
Oh yeah, minion builds are everywhere, it's fucking broken this season
That dm and rhykker mix up was great. 😂😂😂
Whens the full release?
2037.
My worst gaming decision was to buy this game. After the campaign I really didn't see any purpose for playing, And you can;t play for just 2 hours and refund it, cause the campaign, which is the only worthy thing imo, lasts a lot longer.
"Diablo 4 season 4 is the most enjoyable season ever" -» everyone playing 2 builds :)
nice.
I feel like the best builds are the ones that have no resource issues. Like you can just spam.
What would you think about if blizzard introduced class armor sets? Collect 2/4/6/8 pieces and get a certain perk at each interval, now you'd have to do tree of whisper missions to earn currency in order to buy the sets of gear.
Thoughts on this?
First DM, now Asmon.
Bro, Rhykker was reading out and responding to 2 of my comments in this video! The one about gear having slightly updated appearances, and the thing about stealing something from Last Epoch.

Tried D4 a bit yesterday. It's .... just boring. Just spam the same skills over and over. Barely any customization. I don't get it, I guess.
I'm pretty sure that the game is just not for me (even though I liked and played a lot all prev D games)
The reasons I stopped played D4 pretty early (I think I gave up on lvl 60 or something..) is because for me it was artificially overcomplicated and not rewarding at all (like you drop legendary, but its pretty much the same as your yellow from long ago)
“How much I think about the game when I’m not playing” this is such an accurate gauge for how much one enjoys a game. Love it
im surprised how OP whirlwind dust devil is so far, I killed the World tier 4 capstone boss at lvl54 in about 3 seconds lol
"Why are these items so bad?"
Wtf i thought thats exactly what they fixed this season???
i find myself entertained by this type of vids on diablo 4 and lately on path of exile
Just wait for expansion
Idk. Its a problem, I stopped picking up rares before I hit level 60.
i spent money on this game then played it for 5 days then got back to D3. Didn't like it overall. YMMV
So whats different about s4 that makes it good?
I just started playing this season. Game is soulless, I feel like I"m walking around in a prop town. Levelling path seems like after you have all your abilities you're progressing much, sure I get really strong passives. But it doesn't feel like I'm progressing my character much. Still figuring out the gearing part and vendors.
31:08 People don’t understand how difficult it is to get your character this dialed. GETTING this good at the game is the reward.
Dude - would you do a play through of Diablo 1 please?
poe is bad for being misleading too. the entire campaign is a cakewalk even for a tank but then the second you open your first map you're getting 86'd right the fuck out of existence on next to max resist
I want to see more unedited raw game footage here on TH-cam, make a separate playlist or something. Just stash it in there, ill watch. Promise 👀
Ye I don’t even pick up rares anymore pretty damn pointless
