whats it like flipping cars in ZA? id love to do it, but not sure what to look out for/if its possible in this country
It started off pretty well for me. But I seem to have hit a rough patch. Really struggling to find stock. It's a tricky game with loads of scammers and people selling accident damage cars on the sly. You really have to be thorough with your background checks on the car and seller! Trust me, I've learned the hard way.
@@The_Carbon_Connection I could seriously imagine. thats the thing that i worry about doing it in this country, people dont take care of their cars. Another thing, how much would you mark up a car?
There isn't really a blanket approach answer I could give you in mark up. Different cars hold different retail values depending on the market. I wouldn't settle for less than 10%
@@The_Carbon_Connection and obviously you do some fix/touch ups and clean the car for better display? thanks a bunch. I might struggle more being in KZN, but would love to go for it.
Depending on the condition yup sometimes bumpers need to be resprayed due to stone chips and light scratches etc. Wishing you all the best man.
Hi sir have the same car where did you get the upgraded android screen?
Hi Brandon. The previous owner had it installed. It's not the best interface. If you are in South Africa I'd suggest contacting Rennzport. They sell some brilliant units
I'm in Cape town I'll contact them thank you sir
@@brandonhoffman5445 perfect. They courier nation wide. And have support in CT
Is this on lowering springs? It doesn’t look stock 😅
Stock springs. Front shocks were just dead 😂. Had them replaced.
@@The_Carbon_Connection oh ok. it looks rlly nice. its been 6 months, so have you kept it or sold it?
I've decided to keep it. The economy and power is such a winning combination.
Those engines realy dont like short trips on the long term
Yeah you're correct. That's why I'm on the fence about keeping it.
@@The_Carbon_Connection it realy is in great shape and the mileage is very low.
I understand why you want to keep it.
I have the same car just the touring version F31 and i love it as daily driver.
Also great MPG for the power.
You only need to remember that it takes aprox 20 km driving before things realy start to wake up temperature wise.
It wil hold up but it can become costly in the long run. Thats my experience with diesel engines, specialy inlet ,Oil , EGR , DPF will suffer.
Mine is Mineral White also with the black accents. Difficult choice anyway Enjoy the car Mate
Appreciate the input! It really is a tough decision. I do regular long distance trips every month but yeah still more shirt distance than anything else. Enjoying it while it's still mine for now. 😁👍
95% of my journeys are 10 miles or less and I've never had an issue with the engine in my 6 years of owning this model.
That's some reassuring news for me! Thank you.
Any chance of you selling it to me? At a good price please
We can definitely discuss. Good price will have to be from my perspective 😁
Lol let’s hear the price? Crossing fingers. It’s a the facelift one… what’s the mileage on it?
This is an excellent review and well as an excellent car
